Disney Introduces First Ever Gay Storyline Aimed at Children

October 27, 2017 By Seth Connell (http://thefederalistpapers.org/author/sconnell)

Well, folks, it was only a matter of time. It was only inevitable that media networks would expand the reach of their LBGTUVWXYZ agenda to young children. Disney is the first company to be taking the step to fully normalizing homosexuality with pre-adolescent children with one of their shows on Disney Channel, where the median age of viewers is 10 years old.

The new Disney Channel show Andi Mack will be airing its second season on Friday. The coming-of-age drama series details the challenges 13 year old Andi Mack faces growing up, especially with strange revelations about her own family. In this second season, the show will feature a character who is reportedly finding out that he has homosexual urges.

The show will feature a male classmate revealing that he has feelings for another male student, a student whom Anid is attracted to as well (what a great way to start a mess of a love-triangle with a straight and possibly gay 13 year olds…). According to The Hollywood Reporter (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/disney-channel-breaks-ground-first-gay-storyline-1051791), the gay storyline will be a ground-breaking first in kids’ TV.

Friday’s episode finds Andi awkwardly sorting out her feelings for her classmate Jonah (Asher Angel). At the same time, Cyrus, also 13, realizes that he, too, has feelings for Jonah and confides in Buffy — the scene and Buffy’s reaction are intended to serve as a positive role model for both kids and adults — even as he struggles with how to share this revelation with his new girlfriend. This kicks off his journey to self-discovery and ultimately self-acceptance as a gay individual, as seen in subsequent episodes.

“Andi Mack is a story about tweens figuring out who they are; Terri Minsky, the cast and everyone involved in the show takes great care in ensuring that it’s appropriate for all audiences and sends a powerful message about inclusion and respect for humanity,” a Disney Channel spokesperson said in a statement.

Disney Channel has featured gay characters before, appearing in single episodes of shows like Good Luck Charlie and the animated Doc McStuffins. However, this story arc is a first for the network, which has not previously told the story of a character’s journey of realizing that he or she is gay and embarking on that journey of self-discovery. In its written policy on its stories and characters, The Walt Disney Co. as a whole emphasizes inclusion, “with stories that reflect acceptance and tolerance and celebrate the differences that make our characters uniquely wonderful in their own way.”

Allegedly, since more young kids are “coming out” as being LGBTUVWXYZ (and whatever else is in that ever-increasing category of “alternative sexual preferences”), kids’s shows need to reflect that.

“With more and more young people coming out as LGBTQ, Andi Mack is reflecting the lives and lived experiences of so many LGBTQ youth around the country,” said GLAAD president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis. “Television reflects the real-life world, and today that includes LGBTQ youth who deserve to see their lives depicted on their favorite shows. Disney has been a leader in LGBTQ inclusion, and there are so many young people who will be excited to see Cyrus’ story unfold.”

So they want to share the experiences of those who lay claim to these orientations. Well, how about we do take a look at them, shall we?

Jennifer Roback Morse, senior research fellow at the Acton Institute, wrote at The Stream (https://stream.org/medical-risks-homosexuality-values-voters-summit/) about the true health risks of homosexuality. Contrary to what Left-wing, family-destroying activists will say, participating in activity for which humans are not made has negative consequences.

As a certified hater, I’m friends with most of the other certified haters. I happen to have a copy of The Health Hazards of Homosexuality on my shelf. I’ve read it cover to cover. I have not checked out all 1,800 footnotes. But I am familiar with many of the references cited. Let’s look at a few topics, that can be easily checked with the most recent data from the Centers for Disease Control.

Syphilis: (https://www.cdc.gov/std/stats16/Syphilis.htm) the CDC reports that “MSM continued to account for the majority of Primary & Secondary syphilis cases in 2016 (Figures 35 and 36). Of 27,814 reported P&S syphilis cases in 2016, 16,155 (58.1%) were among MSM, including 14,553 (52.3%) cases among men who had sex with men only and 1,602 (5.8%) cases among men who had sex with both men and women (Figure 36).”

HIV: (https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/pdf/library/reports/surveillance/cdc-hiv-surveillance-report-2015-vol-27.pdf) “At the end of 2014, among a total of 722,244 males (aged 13 years and older at year end 2014), 70% of HIV infections were attributed to male-to-male sexual contact.” Bear in mind: Men who have sex with men (MSM) account for about 2% of the population.

Anal Cancer: (https://www.cdc.gov/msmhealth/STD.htm) Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men are 17 times more likely to get anal cancer than heterosexual men. Men who are HIV-positive are even more likely than those who do not have HIV to get anal cancer.

But, according to the “Grand Narrative” as she dubs it, these negative consequences that do happen must simply be ignored, and those who oppose their notions of what must become acceptable in our society must become the subject of a vehement and militant hatred.

That militant hatred will be heaped upon children now, inculcated in them during their most malleable years, and the true risks of this kind of lifestyle will never be told. It will be covered up, and only by experience can they learn about the dangers. And by that time, irreparable damage may have been done.
Is that the kind of future we want for our kids?

Pushing dykes and the fag agenda. Why an agenda? This has gone on for millennia, why such a public push?
