We don't have Somalis to be thankful for, but Sudanese also !
Ironically, just a few years ago, The Andy Griffith Show’s Opie made a heartwarming movie about Sudanese refugees coming to Kansas City. Its title, The Good Lie, could hardly be more apt. The Kansas City Star spotlighted the local connection at the time of the film’s release:
