A little more...National Taxpayer Advocate Nina Olson, head of the Taxpayer Advocate Service, said her in annual report to Congress Wednesday that the private debt collection cost the IRS $20 million in the last fiscal year and only collected $6.7 million in back taxes, the New York Times reports.

It is the same with the police. They are not hired to 'serve and protect', they come after the crime is committed and punish the innocent. It only matters that someone is collared for the crime and all the better if they happen to be innocent. The demoralization of society is furthered and the ideation of autocratic control is furthered.
