Came across this today. I thought I had seen it all from here on GSUS or GIM1.
The author makes a good point, there are no ancient Jewish cities. I'm not sure about everything he says. The Dead Sea Scrolls part makes sense too.

No proof of any exodus from Egypt or settlements in promise land.
If you removed the last 80 years from history there would be none today or in the future.

It seems if you take a walking tour of Zurich you will find no evidence of a Swiss language in writing. Or in speech either for that matter.

What a coincidence those “Dead Sea scrolls”, were found in 1946, setting back the supposed time frame of written Hebrew evidence of presence in Palestine more than a thousand years, right on que for founding Israel in 1948...
Give Palestine back to the Greeks!

Is it anti-Semitic to doubt the authenticity of the Dead Sea Scrolls?

... well if the old testament goes down the pipe, the new one will follow.

Anti-Zionist is Pro-Semitic, either one won't get you elected.

Chronologically it would be a bit awkward to argue that we wouldn’t have an Old Testament if the Dead Sea scrolls hadn’t been found... ;D

I am a bit confused if this is an actual answer to my question or not...

In that case, any answer at all won't help you get elected.

They don’t tend to dissipate any confusion either

Verified by 97% of scientist archaeologist (like your Aeon friend) no doubt.
People try to clarify with those types constantly and it just ends in an unending back and forth thread.

I remember as a kid in the 80s hearing of some questions to their authenticity. Back when news stations still did independant investigation.
Nothing further about dead sea scrolls since then.

People tend to build cities where other people already built a city. Where in the world is a completely new city? America has a bunch built on old Indian sites.

I really don’t like “science” by consensus, one of the things I am pretty sure of is that most people are mostly wrong about most things most of the time. And that includes most experts in most fields as well. In fact I find that in highly educated fields of expertise you will find the highest concentration of people who are so far removed from common sense, and reality, that it could only be achieved with the longest and most intense schooling. Usually this person ends up being a professor at a university (because he/she is totally unemployable in the private sector), and thus in the position to influence 2 generations of future scientist in the field at an impressionable age, with his dogmatic nonsense. By forcing his students and Ph.D’s to think what he thinks.

The fucktardery across all disciplines is breathtaking in it's scale. We are living in a topsy-turvy world where the 'experts' are outdoing themselves in idiocy.

I wonder if there will be any carbon-dating [of course not]. Don't wan't to conflict with the official story....
