Republican Senator Ron Johnson Tells President Trump “it makes no sense to try and bring back high labor manufacturing jobs”… (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/02/14/republican-senator-ron-johnson-tells-president-trump-it-makes-no-sense-to-try-and-bring-back-high-labor-manufacturing-jobs/)

Yesterday President Trump invited the media to keep their cameras on during a round-table discussion on trade. He did this for a reason. President Trump wanted the American voters to watch Republican politicians demand that he stop trying to bring manufacturing jobs to the United States.

In essence, Trump doing what Trump does best, played the role of Toto and pulled back the curtain on the Republican anti-American corporate business agenda. The republicans in attendance never paused to reflect upon the sunlight or the reason for their specific invitations. They are comfortable back-room deals and POTUS Toto relaxed them perfectly.

One by one the Republicans took-the-bait and fully exposed themselves. Lamar Alexander, Mike Lee, Pat Toomey and Roy Blout all took turns telling POTUS to quit trying to save American high-wage jobs, drop the national economic view and just accept multinational corporate globalism.

The subsequent full-throated establishment display stands as one of the greatest plays of the Trump administration to date. However, it was Republican Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin who really went the full distance:

[Transcript (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-vice-president-pence-members-congress-members-cabinet-meeting-trade/)] […] In Wisconsin, a big manufacturing state, in seven years I have not visited one manufacturer that could hire enough people. That was certainly my experience in the last 20, 25 years. For a host of reasons, we tell our kids you have to get a four-year degree. We pay people not to work. So we do need to be concerned about, in such a tight labor market, do we have enough workers in manufacturing.
So my final point is, it makes no sense for me to try and bring back high labor-content manufacturing to America. We need to do the value added things. And so I would just say, proceed with real caution there. (more (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-vice-president-pence-members-congress-members-cabinet-meeting-trade/))

Most people are becoming increasingly aware of the Republican agenda to keep the interests of multinational corporations at the top of their priority list; however, it is still rather remarkable to listen to an entire room of them admit, openly, their agenda is to work against the U.S. middle-class, support mass immigration, and keep the U.S. economy on the “service-driven” path.

Within trade policy is where President Trump breaks away from the modern Republican views. This is the heart of MAGA. Trade and immigration is where President Trump fractures the party apparatus of both Republicans and Democrats.

Lastly, don’t expect the “corporate conservative media”, Fox News, Ingraham, Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Salem Media etc, to showcase these revelations; it is against their financial interests to do so.

Senator Johnson’s eye-opening remarks begin around 32:00 of the video below [prompted, just hit play]: {transcript here (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-vice-president-pence-members-congress-members-cabinet-meeting-trade/)}

Nobody ever mentions the manipulation already in place by Wall Street, the connection is simply never made cause all these homos at the meeting are owned by it or owe to it. Not that any have wits enough about them to see.

The entire meeting is basically a how to reinforce Wall Street manipulation as part of a .gov arm.

Remove raw material trading from Wall Street and you might see Free and Fair Trade of those raw materials, its that simple. Just like reducing or removing completely copyright and intellectual property puts you in fair competition with China.

Anything else is just adjusting a fuck stick to be more comfortable.

so millions of flyover jobs traded for dozens of bankster jobs, and of course...bigger HOLIDAY bonuses for all of the nyc.vipers

I live in Wisconsin, and every factory or business here can't find help. Hiring signs all over for jobs paying $20+ per hour. My son made over 100,000 last year working construction and his company has the hiring sign out. If Trump were able to get all these jobs back here like he wants we'll have to bring in more Mexicans to take those jobs. I really think that we have contracepted and aborted our future away.

Trump Wants "Harshest" Import Tariffs: 24% On Steel, 10% On Aluminum

Defying threats of retaliation (https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-02-18/china-threatens-retaliate-if-us-imposes-metals-tariffs) from the Chinese, Bloomberg (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-02-23/trump-is-said-to-want-global-tariff-of-24-on-steel-imports-je0gw5jx) reports that President Trump is pushing for a global tariff of 24% on all steel imports, a decision that will anger nearly every industrial manufacturer based in the US, while at the same time helping revive the fortunes of US steel producers.

The rates were first proposed by Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross last week.

The commerce department released reports on the U.S. Department of Commerce’s investigations into the impact on our national security from imports of steel mill products and from imports of wrought and unwrought aluminum. These investigations were carried out under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962, as amended. All classified and business confidential information in the reports was redacted before the release.

Specifically, the department, found that the quantities and circumstances of steel and aluminum imports “threaten to impair the national security,” as defined by Section 232.
