indeed, 12 apostles and on 4 recognized by rome... jesus disappeared for almost 16 years and the latter are swept under the rug... going after "evil rome" and still believing in a textbook created by the same usual suspects makes no sense
###
Christian scholars know that many Gospels were written, not just the four officially recognized ones of Mark, Matthew, Luke, and John. These Gospels date from about 70 A.D. to the 2nd century and are very similar and come from a common source. Except John's is different as it names people and two episodes (the wedding at Cana and the raising of Lazarus) not mentioned in any other Gospels.
MORE/VERY LONG...
Pope John XXIII once said that the Christian belief should not be based on the fact that Jesus died on the cross.

remember: believing is determined by one's knowledge, so everything is subjected to change 24/7... expanding one's mind is changing one's mind

"Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose" was introduced into the lexicon by Rhodes Scholar Kris Kristofferson. It is wrong thinking...for losers. Consider the source.

individualism was also supported by the usual suspects... Ayn Rand comes to mind... where does it have lead society today... everything is interconnected. And that is a fact. There is only ONE knowledge... It is not because this ONE knowledge is twisted by evil people that the knowledge is evil, this knowledge is evil when twisted and must be untwisted by the courage to seek the truth. But that is a win win for the ((bad guys)), because they know that people will associate the ONE knowledge with something evil, hence preventing Truth from being accessible. One must pass a wall of fire to access it. That is why they have been winning for millennia... that is the mother of all red pills.
when aware of the natural laws, this freedom quote rings true... we do not own anything during our short passage in this world.... so why fighting about/over something we cannot get? Come and follow me said jesus, leave everything behind. ... I stand ready for losing everything.... ((The puppet masters)) know people will cling on their possessions to death and will resist to let go the system. So the misguided egos empower them in the end. Money when not serving the zero sum game will cause evil
There are many truths in the bible but it was written by ((evil people)) who used Natural Laws/God Laws to enslave us... Study Natural Laws to know where any religious textbooks are correct and pure manipulation. They all are written by man after all. Rome is a pestilence and bowing at the canonization of 4 out of 12 apostles is a huge problem for people calling themselves christians.

here is a concrete example, pollution is beyond believe because each we create something we believe that we know it all and think we can dispose of Nature.
if we ever could address our waste and pollution, we'd realize the damage of all the fallacies we believe to be true... earth can support 14 billion of people and we have turn earth into hell. We can blame ((them)) sure but at some point one needs to take personal responsibility. Blame game is all good for status quo.

There are many truths in the bible
Parables are stories. The underlying principles and conclusions are food for the brain. Hence the "man does not live by bread alone" concept.
