He's also not a chaplain by any stretch of the imagination. I think you nailed it MR, it's all a massive perversion of the language! A "husband" and a "chaplain" brings images of a wholesome and moral individual, when in reality it's a diseased pervert who takes it up the ass.

Husband as a noun is derived from husband as a verb. Pervs do not 'husband'.
