From another website -

You may have heard the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives has been instructed to amend the definition of a "machine gun" to include bump stock devices. Frankly, I don't care about bump stocks, but what this really is an attempt to use bump stock to expand regulations to include any modification that may increase the rate of fire. These modifications could include devices that reduce trigger weight, shorter trigger reset or over travel stops. This is the Trojan horse gun grabbers have been wanting. Please cut and paste the link below. This will take you to the BATFE website for the proposed changes to define bump stocks as machine guns. Click on the COMMENT tab and voice your Opposition to the proposed changes. Thank you
