I think we are on the verge of a massive economic collapse that could be a life changing event.

I'd like to remind folks on this forum to prepare, and continue to prepare, for this. Let's do some math..

Credit bubble: Credit cards. Now a 1 Trillion dollar debt bubble. All unsecured debt as well. 80% of Americans in the US live paycheck to paycheck. They lose their jobs, this bubble bursts pretty much instantly.

Auto Debt Bubble: Another 1 trillion in debt bubble. Think about this. 84% of cars on the road you see, are financed. They are not owned, but financed, in debt. That at a rate of $500 a month for 7 years. 84% of the cars you see are debt! Think about that.

Student debt bubble. I've read this is another 1 trillion dollar bubble. New jobs just can't keep up with the demand from new college graduates.

Please feel free to add any other bubbles you could see bursting in the near future...and your thoughts on preparing. Be well, folks.

I and my family are bubble free, albeit not prosperous but bubble free.

Being humble, honest, and kind makes a man prosper, in God's eyes. Not bubbles, debt, and fancy things.

Good to see you Hitch! Don’t forget US federal debt of +$21 Trillion.
http://usdebtclock.org

According to debt Clock total US debt is +$70 Trillion. So far they have managed to paper over this debt with the digital printing press, and they can continue doing this. The main problem now is that the rest of the world decreasingly sees the USD as the reserve currency. Russia and China has abandoned USD in favor of Renminbi and Rubles for trade between them. US and EU including GB are divided on the Iran sanctions. US isolationism under Trump most certainly will hurt USD as a world reserve currency. A plunge in USD value should be on the horizon, maybe this year, maybe next.
