Good idea. NATO sort of had a purpose to counteract the military might of the Warsaw Pact. You don’t really need that behemoth to smoke out men with long beards and kidney failure from caves in Absurdistan. And since it is very rare that all the NATO members agree on it being a universally good idea to do so, countries (read USA) tend to have to do it themselves. Apart from that it is the military exercises which I am sure the generals look forward to like children on Christmas...

True, any president should be mostly obstructed. Obama had the special something of being black so nobody would trust him. Trump has not done anything much differently with the exception that he's white and somehow trusted for that reason.

edit^ searching the differences Trump has polished military and police shields. Where Obama just sent a new hidden/cloaked drone attack. Other than that and an unsustainable spend/ tax plan no difference.
