Uh...no. That's just goofy.

Check the heavy smoke when the afterburners are lit, as well as the FIRE clearly seen inside the nozzles -

No shortage of fire here -

I mentioned this notion to someone I know who was a powerplant mechanic who worked on F-15s and F-16s. He just laughed.

So how do reciprocating piston prop jobs convert electricity in the air??

Spark plugs.

I think it's funny, you even bothered to reply to this joke.

When I see an opportunity to post videos of Russian aircraft I take it.

The world's two quickest two seat jets (demilitarized trainers Su-27UBs) sold for a mere 6 million each nine years ago -

You could see the huge electric cable attached to its rear! ;D

You get about a hundred of those planes for an equivalent US...

The company that refurbed those two planes just happened to make a one-off deal with the cash strapped Ukrainian government. Current production is probably 10x that.

Only one case of many where an airplane crash is due to running out of fuel.

Reminds me of when 7th Trump planned to heat his house with a 60W induction coil... Hoot !

Good times, total imposable unless 0 loss insulation is involved.

Math,

60w = 207.73 BTU/hr x 24 = 4,914 BTU/day.

Normal human body (what is normal>;D) = 341.21 BTU/hr = 8,189l BTU/day

13,103.04 BTU total per 24hr. (approximately)

0 loss, 100% total insulation, and no door opening + add body's = Posable, but dam unlikely.

Tiny tiny house, micro tiny..with no heat loss.

Still that thread was a hoot, both were sorta right and wrong!

But overall a total grin !

I read a few years ago about a house in Sweden being built with 3 feet thick optimally insulated walls and small 3 glass windows, about 350 sq feet living area, where two people could heat it up with their body heat, and heat from cooking and showers (which I believe recovered the heat from the wastewater). Even in the winter climate of Sweden. But it wasn’t the house 7th Trump was living in. His induction coil heating up the nail to red hot, wouldn’t give off more heat than a 60 Watt light bulb. But discussing the laws of thermodynamics with him was a rather futile exercise.

Still the thread was for me a total hoot.

Cold climate remove heat , hot climate remove heat, insulation to the max will work for both,(never total) still cold seeks heat and heat is as it goes more energetic, but needs constant input to remain hot, cold is lack of energy= negative, and positive always wants to flow to negative to achieve unity or better said balance.

Thermodynamics in play everyday.

Jumping out of this subject , 7th and streets are mostly not worth my time, other than the entertainment of the shit they drag up, one gone ons still here.

Just a tad of thought and dos centavos , which are less worth than one drop of water in an ocean !
