BREAKING: Active shooter reported at Air Force Base hospital in Ohio after 'someone barricaded themselves inside'

Security forces and other emergency responders have been called to the hospital of an Air Force base in Ohio amid reports of an active shooter.
The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base stated via Twitter that they were responding to 'a reported incident' at about 12:40 p.m. EDT Thursday.
The tweet said no additional details were available immediately. However, the Dayton Daily News reports (https://www.daytondailynews.com/news/local/police-activity-reported-wpafb-near-medical-center/zbwqtemrZ2Vb1tasmndpyN/) there may be an active shooter.

Emergency services responded to reports of an active shooter at the hospital at The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base just after noon on Thursday
According to emergency dispatch traffic, someone may be barricaded inside the hospital.
Base personnel have been directed to shelter in place until the incident is investigated.
The base Public Affairs office said it had no other information to release.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol and local police were sending personnel to the base.
The sprawling base is near Dayton in southwest Ohio.
