Just FYI, for those who want to get into the twatter brawl, without giving up your digits-- only an anon email addy. Pretty sure this is a recent development.

Background: I had my first & last twatter acct from 10/17, through 3/18 when it got suspended for "appearance of automated behavior", & was unlockable only via another phone/text code verification. I'd since lost the mobile phone through which I opened/verified that acct in 10/17! so unlocking that acct wasn't possible, as far as I could tell. Probably could've entered a new # to verify through, but I just opted to abandon it. Wanted a new twatter acct for sure; such a powerful platform to share truth through & potentially have it go truly viral; but had no # to verify through-- which twatter (formerly) required.

This weekend I grabbed a skype-in phone #, & decided I'd use it to open a new twatter-- well aware that my skype-in # could reveal my real identity, as I'd paid via credit card... but what the hell, I'd chance it, what's the worst that could happen, vs the benefit off getting back in the twatter brawl?? Got to the twatter screen demanding phone # for text verification, but this time, there was a small-font option to "use email verification." HMMM, decided not to give up my skype-in digits just yet. Went to http://protonmail.com & opened (another) free email addy. Didn't want to use the same protonmail I'd used for the former/suspended acct. For the unawares, protonmail is one of the very few email providers which don't require either a phone verification, or even a backup email "to 'protect' you, in case you lose you PW."

Returned to twatter with the new protonmail addy; badda bing badda boom, went right through without further "phone verification" hassle. This definitely wasn't the case with twatter before, and it may/may-not be a temporary window of opportunity? :(?? So jump on it if you'd like to harness twatter's people-reaching power... see how quick you can get shadowbanned/suspended!!

Twatter's new-ish "quality filter" censorship mechanism is worth a note.

How to Remove Twitter’s New ‘Quality Filter’ Censorship Setting (https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2016/08/23/remove-twitters-new-quality-filter-censorship-setting/)

^notice that's from late Aug '16, 2.x months before the Nov 8 election.

Generally in twatter, all your account preferences are contained in one place: under your "Profile & Settings" page(s). But for their (((kosher quality))) filter, Twatter chose to 1) Opt all users IN by default, suppressing your notifications of new tweets from people twatter doesn't like; & 2) hide the place to Opt-out in Siberia somewhere, not where it obviously belongs under all your "Profile & Settings."

Safe to say I hunted it down & turned said joo censorship filter ^ OFF, so I could properly hear from all the deplorables! :)

I got one but never log on. Was from before the election and use my 15 year old BS yahoo account. I erase spam a couple times a year.

Got to the twatter screen demanding phone # for text verification, but this time, there was a small-font option to "use email verification." HMMM, decided not to give up my skype-in digits just yet.

So with my spanking new twatter acct having ~30 tweets (all of them comments in other peeps' threads), & zero "followers"; I just tried to comment in someone's thread, advising/linking to https://redoubtnews.com/2018/08/public-comment-uranium/ re the current Uranium-One public comment period ending 9/10/18. I hadn't tweeted this out before, nor were any of my prior tweets through the past 7 days copy/paste "spamming."

About 2 seconds after I hit "Send tweet", this screen popped up:

Your account has been locked.

[my user name]

What happened?

Your account appears to have exhibited )))unusual behavior((( that violates the Twitter Rules (https://support.twitter.com/articles/18311). To unlock your account, please complete the steps below and confirm that you are the valid account owner.

What you can do:

To unlock your account, you must do the following:

Pass a Google reCAPTCHA challenge
Verify your phone number

When you tap 'Start', Google may collect and use information about you, your device, and browser. View Google's Privacy Policy (https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/).

^ okay okay, I added the )))reverse echo parenthesis!((( :D

so, (((they're))) demanding my digits after all, ostensibly for some unspecified "...rules" violation. So I didn't buy that Skype-in number in vain after all... just now trying to sort out why I haven't received twatter's SMS there yet-- still unfamiliar with Skype-in & receiving text/sms messages through it. I tested by sending a skype-username based SMS to my Skype-in phone number, which I expected to drop into my basic activity/history box in the skype app, also notifying me of a new SMS.

Came to learn, Skype-in numbers don't take SMS/texts; they can only forward them to (your/any) real mobile phone #, :o WHY, PRAY TELL?!?!?
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/skype/forum/skype_accountms-skype_number/skype-number-to-receive-sms/ddc6fc3f-73c5-4ed3-885a-1cfa6f16a3d6
https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA675/i-have-a-problem-with-sms-text-messages-in-skype?

Take home message: twatter presumably maintains a blacklist of non-kosher peoples' names, words/phrases, images/gif's, jootoobs (incl title/desc words) etc which (((they))) don't like.

Among those prior ~30 tweets this past week, I've included for example,
- David Hogg "from my cold dead hands" gif & video meme
- sofia smallstorm on Sean/SGT Report vid
- E. Michael Jones interview on the pope should resign
- an Alan Sobrosky izzy-did-9/11 vid
- a funny no-name mcstain "Weekend at Bernie's" animated gif

^ all of which yielded numerous likes & retweets by "bigger fish tweeters" with 1000s of followers. Then that last one re Uranium One public comment period minutes ago, instantly triggered my present account lockout-- which was surely already laying in wait for my next "stuff dinjooz don't like" tweet.

And they'll pull their totally unspecific "...exhibited unusual behavior that violates the Twitter Rules (https://support.twitter.com/articles/18311)" card at will, as a speedbump towards censoring accounts which tweet those things (((they))) want suppressed. In most cases, peeps' mobile digits can positively identify them, as most peeps have "mobile plans" & pay their bills via their bank cards.

I, OTOH, have a "factory unlocked" phone, with a T-Mobile acct with a "donald duck" account name, & I go into their brick/mortar stores periodically & pay the bill with cash. They've never seen any ID/bank card from me.

So, begrudgingly, looks like I'll need to connect my new skype-in # to my "anon" mobile #, then tell twatter to re-send that verification code SMS again. :(

Dont know what any of that technical jargon means, but can easily see patcolo being placed on The No-fly list while layed over in an airport somewhere... for it.
