I think the best solution would be if Russia took back Constantinople, to Christianity. They are certainly deepening their influence in Turkey at this time. On my flight back to Sweden a couple of days ago I was sitting next to a Swedish nuclear engineer. Apparently Turkey is planning to invest in 20 (!) nuclear power plants. He told me that with highest probability they will go with Russian reactors, as they are superior today. He wanted to get in as a consultant, as Northern European markets are declining rapidly due to closing down of working reactors.

Further Turkey has a huge pipe-line project with Russia to bypass Ukraine for the European natural gas markets.
