What the fuck is wrong with everybody?
Python recently removed all occurrences of 'master' and 'slave' from its codebase, to unanimous disapproval by the community. The change was made for "diversity reasons." In the technology industry, master/slave refers to a relationship between computing devices, not literal chattel slavery:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master/slave_(technology) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master/slave_%28technology%29)
Across the software development world, other common technology terms are being targeted too: "blacklist", "penetration testing", "orphan", "killer app" have all been deemed problematic by the open source community, and left-leaning programmers have made it their mission to purge these terms from the technology world permanently.

Is the automotive industry next? Both braking systems and clutch systems use a "master cylinder", and the clutch system often incorporates a "slave cylinder" as well.
It would take a generation or two to eradicate that terminology. WAY too ingrained.

There was a push a couple years back in the architecture industry to avoid the term "master bedroom" and "master bathroom" because, you know, slavery and racism. I read an opinion piece about how a black person who doesn't get to stay in the master bedroom is reminded of their lowly status as the subject of the master, and how it hurts their feelings.

Were there any suggestions for names to be used instead of master bedroom or master bathroom?

Its this way for a reason, masters are no longer masters.
Probably should use "Primary Debt Holders bedroom" for replacement.
or PDH room.
I was always a marketing guy from birth.

Yeah, they suggested to call it the "owners bedroom" and "owners bathroom" but like Horn pointed out, most of the time they're debt holders, not owners.

I like it. I'm incorporating this into my designs from now on, starting with this one:
