I expect that several Democrats will defect to the K side in an attempt to save their own political hides. I've been reading hundreds of user comments on K-related Ford-related videos and the mood is overwhelmingly (99% or better) anti-Democrat anti-Liberals anti-Marxist/Communists anti-Ford pro-Trump, as in pissed off, disgusted, vote Republican and Off-with-the-Democrat-heads. I understand that on line audiences may not be a statistically unbiased sampling. But, the comments are very insightful and targeted - people have figured this out. The Deep State's worst nightmare has happened: they are standing exposed to the bright lights of inquiry and debate. Ten years ago, the Deep State wasn't even a notion in the public collective mind. Add to that these Trump rallies, where the crowds have been unprecedented in numbers and totally electrified. Fox's Lou Dobbs has been utterly savaging the left and the Democrats, calling them out and shaming them publicly for their dirty underhanded tactics. Mr. Dobb's is highly regarded for his honesty and integrity by millions. Now, we have this latest Ricin-laced mail attack on the White House, Pentagon and House. It screams Deep State MO and reminds me of similar events surrounding the 911 attacks. Per Q, Trump has complete and comprehensive FBI investigatory findings on Ford and the Democrats going back to September 12. He knows everything and has totally baited Feinstein et al. into showing their hands publicly. Feinstein has been vociferously demanding from Trump to know the scope of the FBI investigation ("am I a suspect?") that she and her fellow Demon-rats demanded. I guarantee that Feinstein et al. are shitting their pants right now because they suspect that Trump had their entire conspiracy and blueprint to take down K in hand well before Ford testified. Trump has got the dirt on all of these scheming lying bastards. And I hope he nails their traitorous asses to the proverbial wall.
I'm off to get some more popcorn!

Letter Signed by Nearly 400 Law Professors Decries Kavanaugh's 'Lack of Judicial Temperament'
Brett Kavanaugh’s fiery appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee last week got failing marks from more than 560 law professors at nearly 100 schools in an open letter saying the Supreme Court nominee failed to demonstrate the judicial temperament required by the position he seeks. “We regret that we feel compelled to write to you to provide our views that at the Senate hearings on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, the Honorable Brett Kavanaugh displayed a lack of judicial temperament that would be disqualifying for any court, and certainly for elevation to the highest court of this land,” the letter reads.
Martha Minow, who was dean of Harvard Law School while Judge Kavanaugh taught there, is among the prominent signatories, along with such scholars as Mark Lemley of Stanford Law School, Judith Resnik of Yale Law School and Michael Dorf of Cornell Law School, who like Judge Kavanaugh once clerked for Justice Anthony Kennedy. “We have differing views about the other qualifications of Judge Kavanaugh. But we are united, as professors of law and scholars of judicial institutions, in believing that Judge Kavanaugh did not display the impartiality and judicial temperament requisite to sit on the highest court of our land,” the letter reads.

Blasey Ford's Kavinaugh Testimony Unravels After Ex-Boyfriend Refutes Key Claims
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) fired off an intriguing letter to Christine Blaseyt Ford's attorneys on Tuesday, requesting several pieces of evidence related to her testimony - including all materials from the polygraph test she took, after her ex-boyfriend of six years refuted statements she made under oath last week.
Grassley writes: "The full details of Dr. Ford's polygraph are particularly important because the Senate Judiciary Committee has received a sworn statement from a longtime boyfriend of Dr. Ford's, stating that he personally witnessed Dr. Ford coaching a friend on polygraph examinations. When asked under oath in the hearing whether she'd ever given any tips or advice to someone who was planning on taking a polygraph, Dr. Ford replied, "Never." This statement raises specific concerns about the reliability of her polygraph examination results."
Ford's ex-boyfriend also claims that she never told him about any type of sexual assault in almost a decade of knowing her (of which they were romantically involved for six years).
"During our time dating, Dr. Ford never brought up anything regarding her experience as a victim of sexual assault, harassment, or misconduct. Dr. Ford never mentioned Brett Kavanaugh," the ex writes, adding "While visiting Ford in Hawaii, we traveled around the Hawaiian islands including one time on a propeller plane. Dr. Ford never indicated a fear of flying.
Ford's ex goes on to note "Dr. Ford never expressed a fear of closed quarters, tight spaces, or places with only one exit," further refuting her testimony. "She ended up living in a very small 500 sq. ft. house with one door."

Kavanaugh no longer teaching at Harvard after outcry
October 2, 2018 | 10:08am
Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, who’s been battling allegations of sexual misconduct, won’t be teaching a class at Harvard Law School this winter after an outcry from hundreds of alumni, according to a report.
“Today, Judge Kavanaugh indicated that he can no longer commit to teaching his course in January Term 2019, so the course will not be offered,” Catherine Claypoole, associate dean and dean for academic and faculty affairs, wrote in an email, the Harvard Crimson reported late Monday (https://nypost.com/affiliate/https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thecrimson.com%2Farticle%2F2018% 2F10%2F2%2Fkavanaugh-is-out%2F/https%3A%2F%2Fnypost.com%2F2018%2F10%2F02%2Fkavana ugh-no-longer-teaching-at-harvard-after-outcry%2Famp%2F/).
Hundreds of alumni signed a letter calling on law school Dean John Manning to “rescind” Kavanaugh’s position as lecturer and prohibit him from teaching a three-week class titled “The Supreme Court Since 2005” this winter. “We believe that Judge Kavanaugh’s appointment as an HLS lecturer sends a message to law students, and in particular female students, that powerful men are above the law, and that obstructive, inappropriate behavior will be rewarded,” says the letter, which the newspaper said is available online. “Judge Kavanaugh is not leadership material, and he is not lectureship material. HLS would be tarnished to have him on campus in any position of authority.”
The Crimson reported that the letter had 700 signatures by Monday, including alumni who graduated from as far back as 1959.
Hundreds of current law school students also sent separate letters to Manning about Kavanaugh, who has been lecturing at the Ivy League school for a decade.

FBI report on Kavanaugh could be finished tomorrow (http://video.foxnews.com/v/5843546696001)
'The Story' exclusive: Woman who worked on Kavanaugh investigations provides insight into the background checks.
In a letter released Tuesday and obtained by Fox News, an ex-boyfriend of Christine Blasey Ford, the California professor accusing Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, directly contradicts her testimony under oath last week that she had never helped anyone prepare for a polygraph examination.
The former boyfriend, whose name was redacted, also said Ford neither mentioned Kavanaugh nor said she was a victim of sexual misconduct during the time they were dating from about 1992 to 1998. He said he saw Ford helping a woman he believed was her "life-long best friend" prepare for a potential polygraph test. He added that the woman had been interviewing for jobs with the FBI and U.S. Attorney's office.
He also claimed Ford never voiced any fear of flying (even while aboard a propeller plane) and seemingly had no problem living in a small, 500 sq. ft. apartment with one door -- apparently contradicting her claims that she could not testify promptly in D.C. because she felt uncomfortable traveling on planes, as well as her suggestion that her memories of Kavanuagh's alleged assault prompted her to feel unsafe living in a closed space or one without a second front door.
Ford "never expressed a fear of closed quarters, tight spaces, or places with only one exit," the former boyfriend wrote. On Thursday, Ford testified, "I was hoping to avoid getting on an airplane. But I eventually was able to get up the gumption with the help of some friends and get on the plane." She also acknowledged regularly -- and, in her words, "unfortunately" -- traveling on planes for work and hobbies.
Ford also told Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., that she had a second front door installed in her home because of "anxiety, phobia and PTSD-like symptoms" that she purportedly suffered in the wake of Kavanaugh's alleged attack at a house party in the 1980s -- "more especially, claustrophobia, panic and that type of thing."
In a pointed, no-holds-barred letter Tuesday evening that referenced the ex-boyfriend's declaration, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley demanded that attorneys for Ford turn over her therapist notes and other key materials, and suggested she was intentionally less than truthful about her experience with polygraph examinations during Thursday's dramatic Senate hearing.
"Your continued withholding of material evidence despite multiple requests is unacceptable as the Senate exercises its constitutional responsibility of advice and consent for a judicial nomination," Grassley, R-Iowa, wrote.
Under questioning from experienced sex-crimes prosecutor Rachel Mitchell last week, Ford said (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OFBBDuB7Q8)that she had "never" had "any discussions with anyone ... on how to take a polygraph" or "given any tips or advice to anyone who was looking to take a polygraph test." She repeatedly said the process was stressful and uncomfortable.
But in his declaration, the ex-boyfriend wrote that, "I witnessed Dr. Ford help [Monica L.] McLean prepare for a potential polygraph exam" and that Ford had "explained in detail what to expect, how polygraphs worked and helped [her] become familiar and less nervous about the exam," using her background in psychology.

In a letter released last night (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/10/02/another-big-lie-long-term-boyfriend-of-ford-witnessed-her-coaching-friend-how-to-take-a-lie-detector-test/) from a former boyfriend of Christine Blasey-Ford, there was a name curiously not redacted. The name of Monica L McLean was revealed as a life-long friend who Ms. Ford helped with polygraph preparation.
The media has begun to focus on the letter as outlining a lie told by Ms. Ford during recent congressional testimony… But the backstory to Ms. Monica Lee McLean is an even bigger story.
First the letter (https://twitter.com/ShannonBream/status/1047293294567456770) from the boyfriend:
https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-l-mclean-2.jpg?w=640&h=640 (https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-l-mclean-2.jpg)
In addition to boyfriend noting Ms. Monica L McLean in the current letter, Ms. Monica Lee McLean was also one of the signatories of another letter (https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/tasneemnashrulla/christine-ford-high-school-alumnae-letter-support) from the Holton-Arms class of 1984 bolstering the credibility of Ms. Blasey-Ford.
https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/holton-arms-class-84.jpg?w=640&h=816 (https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/holton-arms-class-84.jpg)(Source) (https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/tasneemnashrulla/christine-ford-high-school-alumnae-letter-support) Some research into Ms. Fords life-long friend from school, Ms. Monica Lee McLean (DOB 03-15-66), reveals an almost guaranteed likelihood the polygraph assistance had something to do with the career path Ms. McLean would take.
Monica Lee McLean was admitted to (https://twitter.com/USMoms/status/1047395969589858304) the California Bar in 1992, the same year Ms Ford’s boyfriend stated he began a six-year relationship with her best friend. The address for the current inactive California Law License is now listed (https://twitter.com/USMoms/status/1047395969589858304) as *”Rehoboth Beach, DE”. [*Note* remember this, it becomes more relevant later.]
According to her LinkedIn background (https://twitter.com/wayfarNorCal/status/1047361539861147649), Ms. Monica Lee McLean, was a 24-year employee of the Department of Justice and FBI from 1992 to 2016. According to public records Ms. McLean worked in both Los Angeles, CA and New York, NY.
In a 2000 Los Angeles FBI declaration Ms. McLean describes herself (http://www.sosbeevfbi.com/declarationofmon.html) as a Special Agent of the FBI, Associate Division Counsel, in the Los Angeles Division Legal Unit:
https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-mclean-3.jpg?w=640&h=312 (https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-mclean-3.jpg)https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-mclean-4.jpg?w=640&h=255 (https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-mclean-4.jpg)(Source) (http://www.sosbeevfbi.com/declarationofmon.html) Sometime between 2000 and 2003, Ms. Monica L McLean transferred to the Southern District of New York (SDNY), FBI New York Field Office; where she shows up on various reports, including media reports, as a spokesperson for the FBI.
There was a family death in 2003, and Monica McLean then shows up with an address listed in Washington DC in 2003; (https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-mclean-1.jpg) so it would appear Ms. McLean spent about 10 years in California, and then returned to the east-coast.
…”according to Monica McLean, spokeswoman for the FBI’s New York office.” [2009 citation (http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/07/22/terror.suspect/index.html)] After 2003, Ms. Monica L McLean is working with the SDNY as a Public Information Officer (https://t.co/1ph8UV9Gq4) for the FBI New York Field Office, side-by-side with SDNY Attorney General Preet Bharara:
https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-mclean-5.jpg?w=640&h=678 (https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-mclean-5.jpg)(Document Source – pdf) (https://t.co/1ph8UV9Gq4) According to her LinkedIn profile (https://twitter.com/wayfarNorCal/status/1047361539861147649), Ms. McLean retired from the FBI in 2016, after 24 years of work. [*It should be noted that Ms. McLean’s PIO partner in New York, Jim Margolin, is still currently employed there; and coincidentally attached to the case (https://twitter.com/0101limey0101/status/1047368707775713280) against President Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen.]
It does not appear that Ms. Monica L McLean ever married. On the east coast her historic addresses are Current: Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; and Former: Bethesda, MD; Potomac, MD; Washington, DC; Malibu, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Laguna Beach, CA; Marina Del Rey, CA and Laguna Hills, CA respectively. All addresses coinciding with her employment and transferred assignments therein.

In an April, 2016, article (https://www.capegazette.com/article/teller-wines-expo-taste-town/102030) in the Delaware Cape Gazette, Mrs. McLean shows up at a wine tasting event; and is pictured within the publication:
https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-mclean-2.jpg?w=640&h=421 (https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-mclean-2.jpg)Enjoying the tastes are In back (l-r) Kelly Devine and Nuh Tekmen. In front, Monica McLean, Karen Sposato, Catherine Hester, Sen. Ernie Lopez, R-Lewes, and Jennifer Burton. BY DENY HOWETH Ms. McLean is pictured above with the large pink handbag. This article (https://www.capegazette.com/article/teller-wines-expo-taste-town/102030) confirms the location of Monica McLean in relationship to the numerous public record citations of her Delaware residence.
Here’s where things get really interesting.
Ms. Monica Lee McLean and Ms. Christine Blasey-Ford are life-long friends; obviously they have known each other since their High School days at Holton-Arms; and both lived in California after college. Their close friendship is also cited by Ms. Fords former boyfriend of six years.
Ms. Monica McLean retired from the FBI in 2016; apparently right after the presidential election. Her current residence is listed at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; which aligns with public records and the serendipitous printed article.
Now, where did Ms. Blasey-Ford testify she was located at the time she wrote the letter to Dianne Feinstein, accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh? [Transcript (http://edition.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1809/27/cnr.04.html)]
MITCHELL: The second is the letter that you wrote to Senator Feinstein, dated the — July 30th of this year.
MITCHELL: Did you write the letter yourself?
FORD: I did.
MITCHELL: And I — since it’s dated July 30th, did you write it on that date?
FORD: I believe so. I — it sounds right. I was in Rehoboth, Delaware, at the time. I could look into my calendar and try to figure that out. It seemed…
MITCHELL: Was it written on or about that date?
FORD: Yes, yes. I traveled, I think, the 26th of July to Rehoboth, Delaware. So that makes sense, because I wrote it from there.
MITCHELL: Is the letter accurate? FORD: I’ll take a minute to read it.
So we have Dr. Blasey-Ford in Rehoboth Beach, DE, on 26th July 2018. We’ve got her life-long BFF, Monica L McLean, who worked as attorney and POI in the DOJ/FBI in Rehoboth Beach, DE…. Apparently at same time she wrote letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein.
Ms. Blasey-Ford and Ms. McLean, the BFF she coached on lie detector testing, together for the four days leading up to the actual writing of the letter. July 26th to July 30th.
It would appear that Ms. Blasey-Ford was with Ms. Monica L McLean, the retired FBI agent and former New York field office spokesperson, at the time she wrote the letter to Senator Feinstein.
That would certainly begin to explain quite a bit about who exactly was handling Ms. Ford; and how there would be an intentional effort, from a subject matter expert, on how to best position the attack against Brett Kavanaugh.
Who better to help scrub the internet history, and know what processes and people to enlist in such preparatory work, than a retired lawyer who worked deeply inside the FBI?
Not only did Ms. McLean possesses a particular set of skills to assist Ms. Ford, but Ms. McLean would also have a network of DOJ and FBI resources to assist in the endeavor. A former friendly FBI agent to do the polygraph; a network of politically motivated allies?
Does the appearance of FBI insider and Deputy FBI Director to Andrew McCabe, Michael Bromwich (https://www.bromwichgroup.com/about-us/michael-r-bromwich/), begin to make more sense?
Do the loud and overwhelming requests by political allies for FBI intervention, take on a different meaning or make more sense, now?
Standing back and taking a look at the bigger, BIG PICTURE….. could it be that Mrs. McLean and her team of ideological compatriots within the DOJ and FBI, who have massive axes to grind against the current Trump administration, are behind this entire endeavor?
Considering all of the embattled, angry, institutional officials (former and current); and considering the recently fired DOJ and FBI officials; and considering the officials currently under investigation; and considering the declassification requests which will likely lead to the exposure of even more corruption…. Could it be that these elements wanted to do something, anything to get back at the executive branch; and possibly change the tide?
If so, and I think the likelihood is pretty good, doesn’t everything known just easily reconcile if you think of Ms. Blasey-Ford as a tool for those ideologues?
If Ms Monica Lee McLean and her allies wanted to strike, she couldn’t be the visible face of the confrontation because she was retired FBI. It would be too obvious. She would need a patsy; a friend who could deploy the hit on her/their behalf. It would need to be someone she could shape, easily manage and guide etc. Someone who could be trusted, and at the same time would be trusting of them.
It is quite likely Ms. McLean selected/recruited her life-long best friend, Ms. Blasey-Ford.

al·le·ga·tion
ˌaləˈɡāSH(ə)n/
noun
a claim or assertion that someone has done something illegal or wrong, typically one made without proof.
"he made allegations of corruption against the administration"
synonyms:
claim, assertion, charge, accusation, declaration, statement, contention, deposition, argument, affirmation, attestation, grievance; formalaverment
"not one of the allegations against my client has been substantiated"
Ms. Ford made allegations against Kavanaugh. Yet The Democrats on the Judicial cmte keep referring to her as "a victim of sexual assault." Even her "story" is at best "physical assault." All of these "lawyers" who speak of Ford as if she is a proven "victim of sexual assault," which she certainly is not, show extreme prejudice against the accused. They should all be disbarred for blatant judicial misconduct.

Reading through the post you made before this one, her entry allegation falls apart on its face when put into that context.
That and her own ex-boyfriends allegations. I like her new name of Dr. Fraud.

Brett Kavanaugh and the Information Terrorists Trying to Reshape America (https://www.wired.com/story/information-terrorists-trying-to-reshape-america/)
The network architecture built in Gamergate helped propel Trump to the presidency and fuel conspiracies like Pizzagate and QAnon. Now it’s backing Brett Kavanaugh.

Since the advent of Donald Trump's candidacy, there's been a ton of focus on botnets and sockpuppets—automated and semiautomated social media accounts that use disinformation to manipulate public opinion.
But the spotlight on bots has overshadowed the importance of the people who often initiate the flood and flow of information, and how the narratives they build over time influence how we see politics, ourselves, and the world around us.
Last month, the attorney of Christine Blasey Ford, the California professor who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault at a long-ago high school party, revealed (https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/18/us/politics/christine-blasey-ford-kavanaugh-senate-hearing.html) that Blasey Ford and her family were in hiding and had hired private security after Blasey Ford received death threats over email and social media. Among those cheering on the hate-trollers were many familiar faces from the sewers of the modern far-right disinformation metropolis: dandified Republican rogue (and likely Mueller investigee (https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2018/politics/mueller-roger-stone/index.html)) Roger Stone, his alt-media protégés Mike Cernovich and Jack Posobiec (https://www.thedailybeast.com/mike-cernovich-and-jack-posobiec-the-far-rights-twin-trolls-taste-their-own-bitter-medicine), anarchist turned Kremlin propaganda employee turned Bernie backer turned Trump backer Cassandra Fairbanks (https://www.cosmopolitan.com/politics/a9653830/cassandra-fairbanks-donald-trump-deplorable/), and breathless Infowars conspiracist-in-chief Alex Jones. And not surprisingly, alt-right super-troll (http://gawker.com/what-is-chuck-johnson-and-why-the-web-s-worst-journal-1666834902) and white nationalist fund-raiser (https://www.cnbc.com/2017/06/24/wesearchr-charles-johnson-alt-right-causes.html) Chuck Johnson had his own connection (http://tweets.charlescjohnson.com/search?q=markgjudge) to players in the scandal.

Okay, fwiw, further back on this thread I posted something I found on 4chan, with someone saying that on 3/17 Dr Fraud posted on her facebook that someone should accuse Gorsuch of rape to derail his nomination. Anyway, I guess there's no way to check b/c everything has been scrubbed clean.
Anyway, found another tweet that mentioned the same thing (but it's really not proof--still need someone to be able to unscrub her stuff, but not sure that's even possible)
I don’t know how to transfer tweets, but if you scroll down on this page

you will find a tweet from
Linda@lindaluvinlife1 with a tweet from Timothy Leblanc
Saying: I can be a witness but it wouldn’t end well for her. I knew Chrissy Blasey for a long time. She posted on her facebook that someone should accuse Justice Gorsuch during his hearings of rape. I told her false accusations are an immoral crime. she said “so.”

I don't really follow this q stuff at all, but I sometimes listen to a bit of Dave at x22 report and he follows Q. Anyway, I think he recently said that the recent FBI investigation supposedly into Kavanaugh was actually into the Dems and their smear campaign. Not sure if this was from Q or just his own idea. Anyway, I really didn't think much of his idea (I guess it sounded too good to be true), but today I saw this video and it was really kind of fascinating and made me wonder if Dave was right.
Just thought I would post it here.

What is that look on her face about?? To me,but to me it kind of looked like someone who had been shamed or humiliated (but I don’t think she’s really capable of feeling those emotions) Anyway, whatever that look on her face was, it did make me wonder whether the FBI report actually exposed her and the Dems and their smear campaign w/Dr. Fraud and the other liars I’m sure I’m wrong, but to me it kind of looked like someone who had been shamed or humiliated (but I don’t think she’s really capable of feeling those emotions)
I found this comment at the reddit site: “Did anyone already mention that in the full video (where DiFi speaks before Schumer)- she states she didn’t have a chance to read the whole report. She mentions having to be somewhere. It’s very odd and very telling that she wants us to know this! The most important investigation (according to them last week) and she’s too busy to read it all. She’s mortified that her role in sabatoging the judiciary process in such an evil and corrupt way is noted in this report. Her staffers must have convinced her prior to this that all is good. She’s processing in this video clip that nothing is good!”
And here are some comments from the conservative treehouse:
phoenixRising says: Her name is in there? Will she be resigning soon?
anbeav says: She realizes they have been defeated and her paymasters (China and Soros) are not going to take it well!
Confirm Kavanaugh Now! (http://red65mustang.wordpress.com) says: ChiFi is stunned, choked up, about to cry. The report recommends ChiFi resigns? Maybe indicts her? ChiFi may go cardiac arresst any moment now.
sunnydaze (http://deleted) says: That’s an incredible vid. at that link. She looks terrified, then begins tearing up.
Seb Dadin (@Awan_Scandal) (http://twitter.com/Awan_Scandal) says: It exposes the whole charade by Democrat operatives and democrats in the Senate. Same with Coons from Delaware (like Monica McLean) who looked like a beaten dog.
ladypenquin says: If that’s after she read the report, I’d venture to say – she’s in trouble. It could be the FBI unraveled the entire conspiracy to manufacture false evidence in order to take out Kavanugh. She was teary-eyed and if this was just tough politics, I don’t think she be tearful, she’d just be lock-jawed.
WSB (http://wsbrownsaid.wordpress.com) says: Wow, that video is really something. Was there evidence of her office leaking Dr. Fraud’s letter?
TatonkaWoman says: Quite the transformation from the defiant, agressive, powerful, demanding Dem we saw on the committee and threateningly pinning a female Senator against the wall. The change is a delight to see.

Kavanaugh is to Hillary as a chum bucket is to sharks. Hillary Clinton was behind the Democrat putsch tgo destroy Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh was the lawyer who crafted the questions to Bill Clinton leading to his impeachment on charges of sexual impropriety in office. Hillary hates Kavanaugh and her emotions overrode any assemblance of tactics and proportional response. Trump knew Hillary could not resist going after the K red meat bait. Trump fully briefed Kavanaugh as to the coming hit and how to defend against it. Hillary steamrolled Feinstein and the Democrats into running the Ford story, a story that any sensible law maker would have never allowed to come to committee for it's utter lack of corroboration, believabilty and appropriateness. On Hillary's order, the Democrats swallowed the bait, Kavanaugh and the Trump grappling hook, line and sinker. Nothing was going to stop Hillary's rampage for revenge. She forced the Democrats to run with a flawed phoney accusation full of holes and laced with fabrications. Arrogant Hillary didn't think about the day after, when cooler heads would sift through the evidence and see the fraud in plain sight. Katz was photographed with Hillary during the hearing. There are no coincidences in politics of power. This whole debacle will land in Madame Hillary's lap. It will take her and her minions down.
Feinstein is Tartaglia. Hillary is Barzini. Trump is Don Corleone.

← October 5th – 2018 Presidential Politics – Trump Administration Day #624 (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/10/05/october-5th-2018-presidential-politics-trump-administration-day-624/)
Report: Ford’s FBI Friend, Monica McLean, Pressured Witness To Modify Testimony and Statement… (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/10/05/report-fords-fbi-friend-monica-mclean-pressured-witness-to-modify-testimony-and-statement/) Posted on October 5, 2018 (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/10/05/report-fords-fbi-friend-monica-mclean-pressured-witness-to-modify-testimony-and-statement/) by sundance (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/author/sundancecracker/)
If you thought it was sketchy that Ms. Christine Blasey-Ford’s life-long best friend was a recently retired FBI agent and DOJ official, Monica McLean {Go Deep (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/10/03/christine-blasey-ford-friend-in-delaware-was-career-fbi-agent-and-likely-together-during-accusation-letter-construct/)}; and if you thought it was sketchy that McLean and Ford were together (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/10/03/christine-blasey-ford-friend-in-delaware-was-career-fbi-agent-and-likely-together-during-accusation-letter-construct/) on July 30th when Ford was writing a letter to Dianne Feinstein, likely making the friend Ms Ford’s “handler” for the operation against Kavanaugh; then it’s even more sketchy today with a report that McLean was pressuring witness Leland Keyser to shape her statements and testimony to the FBI.
https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-lee-mclean-bromwich-katz-laufman-ford.jpg?w=640&h=360 (https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/10/monica-lee-mclean-bromwich-katz-laufman-ford.jpg)
According to the Wall Street Journal (https://www.wsj.com/articles/friend-of-dr-ford-felt-pressure-to-revisit-statement-1538715152?ns=prod/accounts-wsj) the FBI has text messages from Ms. McLean to witness Ms. Keyser, directing her to modify statements more favorable to Ms. Ford.
WASHINGTON (https://www.wsj.com/articles/friend-of-dr-ford-felt-pressure-to-revisit-statement-1538715152?ns=prod/accounts-wsj) – A friend of Christine Blasey Ford told FBI investigators (https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/kavanaugh?mod=article_inline&mod=article_inline&mod=article_inline) that she felt pressured by Dr. Ford’s allies to revisit her initial statement that she knew nothing about an alleged sexual assault by a teenage Brett Kavanaugh, which she later updated to say that she believed but couldn’t corroborate Dr. Ford’s account, according to people familiar with the matter.
Leland Keyser, who Dr. Ford has said was present at the gathering where she was allegedly assaulted in the 1980s, told investigators that Monica McLean, a retired Federal Bureau of Investigation agent and a friend of Dr. Ford’s, had urged her to clarify her statement, the people said.
[…] On Thursday, a day after sending to the White House the report (https://www.wsj.com/articles/white-house-finds-no-corroboration-of-sexual-misconduct-allegations-against-kavanaugh-in-fbi-report-1538625927?mod=article_inline) on its investigation into the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, the FBI sent the White House and Senate an additional package of information that included text messages from Ms. McLean to Ms. Keyser, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Oh, and McLean’s attorney is…. wait for it,….. David Laufman (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/02/08/doj-national-security-division-official-david-laufman-quits/).
Ms. McLean’s lawyer, David Laufman, said in a statement: “Any notion or claim that Ms. McLean pressured Leland Keyser to alter Ms. Keyser’s account of what she recalled concerning the alleged incident between Dr. Ford and Brett Kavanaugh is absolutely false.” (continue reading (https://www.wsj.com/articles/friend-of-dr-ford-felt-pressure-to-revisit-statement-1538715152?ns=prod/accounts-wsj))
If there was any doubt the “small group” of connected DOJ and FBI officials were behind the use of Ms. Ford, you can put that doubt away now that Ms. Ford’s handler, Monica McLean, has enlisted David Laufman as her legal defense.
They’re not even trying to hide it any more.
Michael Bromwich is representing Ms. Ford, and David Laufman is representing Ms. McLean. The concentric Lawfare gang (https://www.lawfareblog.com/coalition-all-democratic-forces-part-iii-what-if-trump-wins) is working overtime, likely pro-bono.
It is beyond obvious now that Ms. Christine Blasey-Ford was not just some random ancillary high school acquaintance of Brett Kavanaugh; Ms. Ford appears to have been selected by a group of politically connected FBI and DOJ officials for the purpose of targeting Judge Kavanaugh.
All of these DOJ and FBI people are part of a tight network.
“Beach Friends”? Rohoboth Beach (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/10/03/christine-blasey-ford-friend-in-delaware-was-career-fbi-agent-and-likely-together-during-accusation-letter-construct/) friends?
https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/02/fbi-nation-security-division-chart-3.jpg?w=640&h=453 (https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/02/fbi-nation-security-division-chart-3.jpg)
David Laufman was the Department of Justice – National Security Division, Deputy Asst. Attorney General in charge of counterintelligence, cyber security, counterespionage and export controls. He was inside the DOJ-NSD when the FISA application against Carter Page, and by extension the Trump campaign, was constructed, submitted and approved.
As most people are now aware the epicenter of the DOJ/FBI Clinton-Steele operation against candidate Trump stemmed from a collaborate “small group” effort (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2017/12/28/the-mistresses-of-mirrored-halls-looking-at-the-corrupt-doj-side-of-operation-trump/) of Main Justice officials within the National Security Division (John P Carlin – head); and officials within the FBI Counterintelligence Division (Bill Priestap – head).
David Laufman abruptly resigned from his DOJ position on Wednesday February 7th, 2018, without notice – citing “personal reasons.” {Go Deep (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/02/08/doj-national-security-division-official-david-laufman-quits/)} Mr. Laufman was one of the “small group” who interviewed Hillary Clinton, July 2nd, 2016, during the FBI email investigation.
Additionally, In his former DOJ-NSD position, Laufman would have held knowledge of the FISA “Title-1” surveillance program initiated on Carter Page and the “incidental” Trump campaign officials. Laufman would also have close contact with former Asst. Deputy Attorney Bruce Ohr; husband of Fusion GPS employee Nellie Ohr.
To see Ms. Fords life-long best friend, FBI agent and influencer (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/10/03/christine-blasey-ford-friend-in-delaware-was-career-fbi-agent-and-likely-together-during-accusation-letter-construct/), Monica McLean, now represented by Mr. Laufman would indicate even more evidence of the “small group” motive. Again, as previously presented (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/10/03/christine-blasey-ford-friend-in-delaware-was-career-fbi-agent-and-likely-together-during-accusation-letter-construct/), each of these DOJ/FBI officials are defending their interests -and controlling their risk exposure- from current congressional probes into the activity of a corrupt DOJ and FBI in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Background on Ms. Monica L McLean HERE (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/10/03/christine-blasey-ford-friend-in-delaware-was-career-fbi-agent-and-likely-together-during-accusation-letter-construct/)
Background on Mr. David Laufman HERE (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/02/08/doj-national-security-division-official-david-laufman-quits/)
These internecine relationships is likely why Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley sent a follow-up demand letter to the lawyers for Ms. Blasey-Ford, requesting additional information to include the communications between the legal team and the witnesses surrounding Ms. Ford’s claims:
[…] I urge you once again, now for the third time in writing, to turn over the therapy notes, polygraph materials, and communications with The Washington Post that Dr. Ford has relied upon as evidence.
In addition to the evidence I requested in my October 2 letter, in light of recently uncovered information, please turn over records and descriptions of direct or indirect communications between Dr. Ford or her representatives and any of the following: (1) U.S. Senators or their staffs, particularly the offices of Senators Feinstein and Hirono, other than your communications with me and my staff in preparation for the September 27 hearing; (2) the alleged witnesses identified by Dr. Ford (Leland Keyser, Mark Judge, and Patrick “P.J.” Smyth); and (3) Debbie Ramirez, Julie Swetnick, or their representatives.
(Read Full Grassley Letter (https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/press/rep/releases/grassley-repeats-request-of-katz-bromwich-banks-to-provide-evidence-cited-reported-but-never-provided-to-committee))
It would appear that Senator Grassley can see the outline of the group who orchestrated the smear campaign against Judge Brett Kavanaugh; and he’s going directly to those who framed the campaign for answers….

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley is in beast mode! First, Grassley released the executive summary FBI report on Kavanaugh (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/10/breaking-grassley-releases-executive-summary-of-kavanaugh-fbi-report/) very late Thursday.
Now this…
Senator Grassley sent Christine Blasey Ford’s legal team a scathing letter (https://twitter.com/ShannonBream/status/1048056982568099841) Thursday, demanding they turn over disputed evidence.
As Christine Ford’s allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh continue to fall apart, her attorneys are refusing to cooperate with Senate investigators.
Ford’s attorneys are refusing to turn over requested documents.
On Wednesday, Debra Katz and her fellow attorneys penned a letter to Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley. They will not turn over the therapy notes and polygraph tests.
And Grassley responded… Pay attention to the last paragraph-GRASSLEY IS ANGRY!
I urge you once again, now for the third time in writing, to turn over the therapy notes, polygraph materials, and communications with The Washington Post that Dr.

Senator Chuck Grassley means business–he already referred one of Kavanaugh’s hoax accusers to the FBI for criminal investigation (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/09/grassley-refers-hoax-accuser-claiming-kavanaugh-raped-a-woman-on-boat-in-rhode-island-for-criminal-investigation/).
Republican Senator Tom Cotton said over the weekend the lawyers recommended by the Democrats to Christine Ford will face a Washington DC bar investigation (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/09/senator-cotton-lawyers-recommended-by-democrats-to-christine-ford-will-face-washington-d-c-bar-investigation-into-their-misconduct-video/) into their misconduct.

BTW, Mr. Steel confirms that Pataki and Bloomberg and Bush were well aware that WTC was a condemned white elephant back in the 80's; but EPA prevented controlled demolition because of the asbestos issue. Bush/Cheney and friends (M16; Mossad) demolished WTC illegally to defraud insurers and steal the gold bullion the underground vault and dressed it up as a terrorist act and the rest as they say is history. This was all surmised previously here at GSUS long ago and seems that it will all be revealed to the public in time.

R.D.Steele is a dubious character at best. He throws out a lot of "patriotic, righteous" red meat, then drops turds like child sex/worker colonies on Mars.
A couple years ago he partnered with Cynthia McKinney for a few months; I can't even remember the details of their "mission" but it involved driving an RV across the country to promote some platform. That appeared hopeful, but fell apart fairly quickly, & the details were never talked about AFAIK.
In short, not convinced Steele is "ex" CIA at all.

So many people have lost any assemblance of common sense and logic, and so ill-informed, that I fear massive civil unrest is coming. When the credit markets freeze up and the store shelves empty all hell is going to break loose. This government will come down hard with an iron fist. I hope everyone here has been stocking up on food, water, consumer goods (toilet paper, soap, tools, etc.), guns and ammo. I think the bottom will fall out of the markets this month. The bond market was a bloodbath on Friday. 30 year mortgages are already at 5%. Most Americans are living paycheck to paycheck with no savings, maxed out credit cards, and have no ability to absorb the increase in monthly costs (mortgage, taxes, utilities, food, insurances) that are coming. Scary times my friends. The collapse that we have talked about since the inception of this forum has begun. This really is it.

Lindsey Olin Graham was born in Central, South Carolina (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central,_South_Carolina), where his parents, Millie and Florence James "F.J." Graham, ran a restaurant-bar-pool hall-liquor store, the "Sanitary Cafe".[21] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lindsey_Graham#cite_note-twang-21) After graduating from D. W. Daniel High School (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D._W._Daniel_High_School), Graham became the first member of his family to attend college, and joined the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reserve_Officers%27_Training_Corps). When he was 21, his mother died of Hodgkin's lymphoma (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hodgkin%27s_lymphoma) aged 52, and his father died 15 months later of a heart attack (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart_attack), aged 69.[21] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lindsey_Graham#cite_note-twang-21) Because his then-13-year-old sister was left orphaned, the service allowed Graham to attend University of South Carolina (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_South_Carolina) in Columbia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbia,_South_Carolina) so he could be near home and care for his sister, whom he adopted.[11] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lindsey_Graham#cite_note-stomped-11) During his studies, he became a member of the Pi Kappa Phi (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pi_Kappa_Phi) social fraternity.[22] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lindsey_Graham#cite_note-22)
He graduated from the University of South Carolina (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_South_Carolina) with a B.A. in psychology (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychology) in 1977, and from the University of South Carolina School of Law (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_South_Carolina_School_of_Law) with a J.D. Nancy Pelosi to file FOIA request for FBI report on Kavanaugh
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/oct/6/nancy-pelosi-file-foia-request-fbi-report-sexual-a/#content
By Gabriella Muñoz (https://www.washingtontimes.com/staff/gabriella-munoz/) - The Washington Times - Saturday, October 6, 2018
House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (https://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/nancy-pelosi/) announced on Saturday that she will file a Freedom of Information Act request for the FBI report on sexual assault allegations against incoming Supreme Court (https://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/supreme-court/)Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
“In purposefully limiting the FBI investigation, it is clear the Republicans were not seeking the truth,” Mrs. Pelosi (https://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/nancy-pelosi/), California Democrat, said in a statement. “They were seeking cover to do what they wanted to do anyway. To add insult injury they blocked the public’s access to the report.”
Mrs. Pelosi (https://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/nancy-pelosi/) revealed her plans after the Senate confirmed Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination with a 50-48 vote.
The FOIA request will be filed for the actual report, as well as communications the FBI had with the White House and the Senate Judiciary Committee.
The FBI launched a seventh background check after Democrats and a handful of undecided Republicans requested they look into the accusations of sexual assault against him. During the one-week investigation, they looked into the allegations put forward by Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez.
“The conduct of the Senate Republican Majority did violence to the reputation of both the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Supreme Court (https://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/supreme-court/),” Mrs. Pelosi (https://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/nancy-pelosi/) said, “We must proceed in a judicious manner to set the record straight and ensure that this never happens again.”

"It Was All Made Up, It Was Fabricated": Trump Says Kavanaugh Victim Of Democrat "Hoax"video at link
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-10-08/it-was-all-made-it-was-fabricated-trump-says-kavanaugh-victim-democrat-hoax
President Trump said that Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was the victim of a Democrat Hoax, and that allegations of sexual assault levied by multiple women were "all made up" and "fabricated."
In comments made to reporters on the White House driveway, Trump addressed rumors that the Democrats will investigate and attempt to impeach Kavanaugh if they regain control over the House or Senate during midterms.
"So, I’ve been hearing that now they’re thinking about impeaching a brilliant jurist — a man that did nothing wrong, a man that was caught up in a hoax that was set up by the Democrats using the Democrats’ lawyers — and now they want to impeach him," said Trump.
The President then suggested that the attacks on Kavanaugh will bring conservatives to the polls for midterms:
"I think it’s an insult to the American public," said Trump. "The things they said about him — I don’t even think he ever heard of the words. It was all made-up. It was fabricated. And it’s a disgrace. And I think it’s going to really show you something come November sixth."

Justice Thomas asks questions in court, 1st time in 10 years
Justice Clarence Thomas stunned lawyers, reporters and others at the Supreme Court on Monday when he posed questions during an oral argument for the first time in 10 years.
It was the second week the court has heard arguments since the death of Justice Antonin Scalia, Thomas' friend and fellow conservative. Thomas for years sat directly to Scalia's right. Scalia's chair is now draped in black in a tribute to his death on Feb. 13.
Thomas' questions came in a case in which the court is considering placing new limits on the reach of a federal law that bans people convicted of domestic violence from owning guns.
With about 10 minutes left in the hourlong session, Justice Department lawyer Ilana Eisenstein was about to sit down after answering a barrage of questions from other justices. Thomas then caught her by surprise, asking whether the violation of any other law "suspends a constitutional right."

Well that question took long enough, I would've been fired from my job for not knowing the answer after the first week.

Interesting. I've always wondered why he was silent.
I have to admit, back when he was confirmed, I was really young and gullible, and had no clue how dirty the media and politics were, so I totally bought the BS about him. Anyway, I actually saw a short clip of him on CSPAN, talking about how this country would be in a better place if there were actually people in public life who we could call "honorable," and I was impressed with him. Plus he made a dig at Cory Booker.

Chief Justice Roberts Requests Tenth Circuit To Investigate Kavanaugh Ethics Questions
While the Republican leadership celebrates the seating of Brett Kavanaugh as a Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Chief Justice Roberts yesterday requested the Tenth Circuit to review more than twelve ethics complaints that have been made against Kavanaugh. The complaints concern Kavanaugh’s behavior at the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 27.
These complaints were initially received by the U.S. Court of Appeals prior to Kavanaugh’s seating on the Supreme Court. Chief Judge Merrick Garland — whose nomination to the Supreme Court was blocked by Senate Republicans—recused himself from the matter. The complaints were then passed to Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson, whom President George H.W. Bush nominated to the bench.
Judge Henderson dismissed some of the complaints made against Judge Kavanaugh as frivolous. But she concluded that more than a dozen complaints were substantive enough to warrant investigation by an impartial panel and that they should not be handled by Judge Kavanaugh’s fellow judges in the D.C. Circuit. She referred them to Chief Justice Roberts, who has now referred them to the 10th Circuit.
The Legal Basis Of The Ethics Complaints
The complaints were not made without legal basis. More than 2,400 law professors have determined that Kavanaugh has “displayed a lack of judicial temperament that would be disqualifying for any court.”
Former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens also stated that Judge Kavanaugh has demonstrated bias and is “not fit for the Supreme Court.” Former Justice Stevens, in remarks to retirees in Boca Raton, Fla, declared that Kavanaugh’s statements on September 27 revealed prejudices that would make it impossible for him to do the court’s work. “They suggest that he has demonstrated a potential bias involving enough potential litigants before the court that he would not be able to perform his full responsibilities.”
Judge Brett Kavanaugh himself has expressed regrets in the Wall Street Journal, about “a few things [he] should not have said” in his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, though without giving specifics.
Now, Chief Justice Roberts has requested Judge Timothy M. Tymkovich, the chief circuit judge of the Denver-based Tenth Circuit, to review the complaints against Kavanaugh and "any pending or new complaints related to the same subject matter." Judge Tymkovich has the option of handling the complaints himself, dismissing them or appointing a special committee to examine them.
Unlike the allegations of Justice Kavanaugh’s sexual misconduct and excessive drinking as a teenager, there is no question here about the facts as to what happened, since they occurred on national television. At the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Judge Kavanaugh’s behavior was startingly non-judicial in nature. From the outset in his prepared statement, he was angry and confrontational in manner. He was aggrieved and complaining about the situation in which he found himself. He was impolite and challenged the integrity of the Senate questioners and portrayed the hearing in the starkest partisan terms.
Kavanaugh made no apparent effort to bring a lifetime of professional expertise and perspective to bear on the difficult issues under consideration. Instead, he was dismissive of the inquiry and was careless on matters of fact that had been asserted by other potential witnesses on the subject under discussion. He made obfuscating responses to questions about the meaning of words. He made no apparent effort to hold emotions in check and shouted at U.S. Senators and accused them of wrongdoing. He repeatedly sought to shift the attention and blame to others for what was taking place. He resisted further legal inquiry into the issues under discussion. He approached the inquiry with an attitude of entitlement and self-pity. His conduct was remarkably unprofessional.
Although Kavanaugh’s behavior was the very opposite of what one hopes for and expects in a judge, it succeeded in its immediate intent of winning the applause of President Trump and his Republican supporters. Yet his performance, which has been accurately satirized on Saturday Night Live, appalled the rest of the country and raised strictly legal questions about his temperament to sit as a judge on any federal court, let alone the Supreme Court.
Next Steps
The situation is unique in that never before has a Supreme Court appointee joined the court at a time when a fellow judge has concluded that misconduct claims against that appointee warrant review and when a former Supreme Court Justice has concluded that the appointee’s behavior was disqualifying.
Technically, Supreme Court justices are not subject to the misconduct rules governing these claims. But if complaints against a sitting Justice are not dealt with in an impartial apolitical manner, then there will be an asterisk against Judge Tymkovich and Justice Kavanaugh for the remainder of their terms, and indeed the U.S. Supreme Court itself.
There is therefore a risk that Mitch McConnell's seeming accomplishment of a “rock-solid Republican majority on the Supreme Court for a generation” may yet turn out to be something of a Pyrrhic victory.

Here’s What Democrats and the New Yorker Don’t Want You to Know About Kavanaugh Accuser Deborah Ramirez’s Story By Peter Boyles and Michael Thau (https://amgreatness.com/author/peter-boyles-and-michael-thau/)| October 14th, 2018
https://cdn.printfriendly.com/buttons/printfriendly-button-lg.png (https://amgreatness.com/2018/10/14/heres-what-democrats-and-the-new-yorker-dont-want-you-to-know-about-kavanaugh-accuser-deborah-ramirezs-story/#)
https://amgreatness.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/180924103739-02-deborah-ramirez-super-tease-1024x576.jpg
In his opening statement (https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/26/us/politics/read-brett-kavanaughs-complete-opening-statement.html) to the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 26, Brett Kavanaugh argued that the allegations of sexual misconduct raised against him were part of an orchestrated attempt to block his nomination by congressional Democrats and their allies. We likely haven’t seen anything to match the phony indignation coming from Democrats in response to that charge since the famous scene (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMIyDf3gBoY) in “Casablanca,” when Claude Rains expresses astonishment to find gambling in an illicit casino his character regularly patronizes. U.S. Senator Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) had her Rains moment, laughably describing Kavanaugh’s testimony as “shocking.”
Everyone knows the accusations against Kavanaugh were raised purely for political purposes. The campaign against Kavanaugh was ready to go the moment his name was announced. Even if his accusers were sincere, the claims never would have seen the light of day if his judicial philosophy was more congenial to the Left.
Nevertheless, Kavanaugh’s enemies insist his accusers should be heard and believed. But Christine Blasey Ford’s claims do not hold up (https://amgreatness.com/2018/10/07/one-ford-narrative-too-many/) under scrutiny. And the New Yorker (https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/senate-democrats-investigate-a-new-allegation-of-sexual-misconduct-from-the-supreme-court-nominee-brett-kavanaughs-college-years-deborah-ramirez) article by Jane Mayer and Ronan Farrow that broke the story of his second accuser Deborah Ramirez’s allegations is strangely vague on crucial points.
Moreover, once the gaps are filled in, it looks like the narrative we’ve been fed about how the Senate first learned of Ramirez’s story is false and, as Kavanaugh suggested, Democratic politicians were involved in creating and promulgating at least her allegations from the very beginning.
Alarming Vagueness About Sources
Farrow and Mayer are silent about how they learned of Ramirez’s story. All we’re told is that the reporting duo contacted Ramirez “after learning of her possible involvement in an incident involving Kavanaugh.” Their reticence about who tipped them off suggests, as is often the case with mainstream journalists, the real story here might be who wanted us to know about the story they’re telling rather than the story itself.
After all, if their source was someone associated with Ramirez who wanted to keep his or her role a secret, they might simply have said that the story came to them from an anonymous acquaintance of hers. And, if their source isn’t associated with Ramirez, the only other option seems to be that someone linked to the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee leaked the story to the New Yorker, which, of course, goes some way towards confirming Kavanaugh’s “shocking” allegations.
Farrow and Mayer are also short on details about how the Senate Judiciary Committee learned of Ramirez’s allegations. First, they say her story was “conveyed to Democratic senators by a civil-rights lawyer,” without giving any indication whatsoever of who this person is or how he or she learned of it. Since Ramirez’s allegations fall loosely under the rubric of “civil rights,” their description of the committee’s source masks how strange the little information they give us is. Farrow and Mayer tell us nothing about how this civil rights lawyer is connected to their story, so, stripped of the false sense of relevance their description imparts, their account isn’t any less bizarre than if they had told us without any further explanation that “a chiropractor conveyed her allegations to the Senate.”
Much later in the New Yorker story we’re given more details, but the anonymous civil rights lawyer’s role remains completely mysterious:
As Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings became a national story, the discussions among Ramirez and Kavanaugh’s classmates took on heightened urgency, eventually spreading to news organizations and to the Senate. Senate aides from Ramirez’s home state of Colorado alerted a lawyer, Stanley Garnett, a former Democratic district attorney in Boulder, who currently represents her.
A casual reading of this statement is likely to leave the impression that some unidentified classmates of Ramirez and Kavanaugh became so concerned by the “heightened urgency” that one of them, presumably the civil rights lawyer mentioned much earlier in the piece, informed the committee’s Democrats. But on a more careful reading, it turns out that the appearance of content is an illusion and the paragraph tells us almost nothing about how the story got from Ramirez to the Senate.
A “discussion among Ramirez and Kavanaugh’s classmates,” after all, might very well include Ramirez herself. And the story having “eventually spread” from such a group is about as imprecise an account as is possible. It would be true if Ramirez herself told the committee. Nor would Farrow and Mayer be guilty of any explicit lies if someone entirely unconnected to the unidentified classmates got the story from Ramirez and passed it to the Senate.
Moreover, “the discussion” among Ramirez’s classmates to which Farrow and Mayer refer isn’t quite what the description they use makes it seem.
Roughly 1,000 words in to the story (well after Ramirez’s sordid tale has been given credibility by the presumption that the New Yorker wouldn’t possibly tell it without corroboration), Farrow and Mayer write that after contacting “several dozen” of Ramirez’s classmates, they could find no one to confirm her account and only one person who’d heard anything about it at all. And “the discussions among Ramirez and Kavanaugh’s classmates” that play such an important role in the story’s account of how Ramirez’s tale got to the Senate comes from an earlier passage in which we’re told that a classmate of Ramirez’s named Mark Krasberg said,
Kavanaugh’s college behavior had become a topic of discussion among former Yale students soon after Kavanaugh’s nomination. In one e-mail that Krasberg received in September, the classmate who recalled hearing about the incident with Ramirez alluded to the allegation and wrote that it “would qualify as a sexual assault,” he speculated, “if it’s true.”
That’s all Farrow and Mayer say about what they describe as “the discussions among Ramirez and Kavanaugh’s classmates.” For all we’re told, the phrase might refer to nothing more than one classmate emailing a bunch of others in an unsuccessful attempt to get them to confirm Ramirez’s account.
The fact that Farrow and Mayer contacted at least 36 of Ramirez’s classmates and could only find one person providing only hearsay evidence would help explain why the New York Times initially passed (http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/09/new-york-times-new-yorker-spar-over-kavanaugh-story.html) on Ramirez’s story. But even if there was more to “the discussions among Ramirez and Kavanaugh’s classmates” than what Farrow and Mayer mention, the lack of confirmation also leaves completely mysterious who the “fellow classmates” Farrow and Mayer mention could be. If such a group were concerned enough to take her allegations to the Senate, one would think they’d have been willing at least to provide anonymously some kind of confirmation, however tenuous. Moreover, if some of Ramirez’s classmates did relay the story to the Senate, what possible reason could there be for not explicitly but anonymously saying so?
That one person providing only hearsay evidence of Ramirez’s allegations refused to go on the record for Farrow and Mayer’s first article. But 10 days later, the duo published a sequel (https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/will-the-fbi-ignore-testimonies-from-kavanaughs-former-classmates) that identified him as Kenneth G. Appold, “the James Hastings Nichols Professor of Reformation History at Princeton Theological Seminary.”
Farrow and Mayer are being tricky with Appold’s title here. Contrary to what their description might lead you to believe, Appold does not hold a named chair at Princeton University, which would make him one of the world’s most respected historians at the very top of the academic pecking order and, thus, for many, lend some credence to his words. The only connection between Princeton University and the Princeton Theological Seminary is that both happen to be located in the same town, allowing the latter to cash in on the former’s prestige by adopting a name designed to cause confusion about its nonaffiliation. So, whatever other virtues he may possess, Appold is at the bottom rather than the top of the academic pyramid.
Moreover, Appold’s homepage (https://web.archive.org/web/20180405142203/https:/ptsem.edu/people/kenneth-g-appold) at the seminary is itself designed to leave the false impression that he’s a named chair at Princeton University. For the very first sentence after his credentials are listed reads, “Prior to coming to Princeton, he served as a research professor at the Institute for Ecumenical Research in Strasbourg, France . . . ”
And, of course, very few readers will realize that by “Princeton,” he’s referring to the town and not the university. So, the only person providing even hearsay evidence for Ramirez’s allegations is guilty of the most vulgar dishonesty. And Farrow, who has a J.D. from Yale—the university, not the manufacturer of locks—certainly wouldn’t have been fooled by Appold’s crass deception. Yet he and Mayer made a point of using Appold’s full title, but couldn’t be bothered to clarify the misimpression it was sure to leave and, hence, are equally dishonest.
More responsible journalists—or at least one of the New Yorker’s famously obsessive fact checkers—would have made the theological seminary’s nonaffiliation with Princeton University evident; just as they wouldn’t have written a sensational story they were utterly unable to confirm. If for some reason they did produce such a story, more responsible journalists would have mentioned the lack of confirmation upfront rather than 1,000 words deep, when all but committed researchers have long stopped reading. Farrow and Mayer have already reached an astonishing level of journalistic malfeasance and one wonders whether their editor, David Remnick, would have published the story if Farrow weren’t the official scribe of the #MeToo movement and the journalist who shot to fame exposing movie mogul Harvey Weinstein’s long history of sexual misconduct and assault.
Alarming Vagueness About Ramirez’s Professional Life
Farrow and Mayer’s story is also vague about Ramirez’s professional life. All we’re told is that “she spent years working for an organization that supports victims of domestic violence.” Here, though, a puff piece about Ramirez in Westword (https://www.westword.com/news/john-clune-and-stan-garnett-are-brett-kavanaugh-accuser-deborah-ramirezs-colorado-attorneys-10826103), a local news outlet in Ramirez’s current hometown of Boulder, Colorado, fills in some of the gaps. We learn that Ramirez “once worked” at an organization called Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (https://www.safehousealliance.org/) (SPAN) “as a volunteer coordinator before taking a position with the Boulder County’s Housing and Human Services department.” Sadly, even Westword isn’t giving us the full story. Like Farrow and Mayer, the publication presents Ramirez’s association with the organization entirely in the past tense, for some reason neglecting to mention that Ramirez is still affiliated with SPAN.
A story in the New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/25/us/politics/deborah-ramirez-brett-kavanaugh-allegations.html) gives a truer picture of Ramirez’s involvement with SPAN, saying she “has worked with a domestic violence organization, both as a volunteer and in a paid position. She joined the board of the organization in 2014.” But even the Times declines to name SPAN. Nor does it tell us Ramirez’s role on SPAN’s board of directors. The information is available on SPAN’s website, however, and it turns out that Ramirez is actually co-vice chairman, along with another woman but listed before her even though Ramirez’s name comes alphabetically second.
In an interview (http://www.kunc.org/post/we-re-not-backing-down-boulder-nonprofit-continues-support-kavanaugh-accuser-despite-threats#stream/0)with the Boulder NPR affiliate, Anne Tapp, the executive director of SPAN, explains how the group was in a position to release a statement supporting Ramirez the very day after the New Yorker story appeared. “When Debbie was first approached by a reporter—by Ronan Farrow—by happenstance we had a board executive committee meeting that evening,” she said. Total happenstance, nothing to see here, according to Tapp.
So why don’t Ronan and Mayer, the New York Times, or Westword mention the simple fact that Ramirez currently serves on the board of directors of Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence as co-vice chair?
A clue seems to be provided by the identity of the gentleman who briefly served as her first attorney. In their first article, Farrow and Mayer say, “Senate aides from Ramirez’s home state of Colorado alerted a lawyer, Stanley Garnett, a former Democratic district attorney in Boulder, who currently represents her.” But once again the journalists don’t tell us all we might like to know. Garnett isn’t just some one-time local Democratic D.A.; he’s a huge figure still active in the state Democratic Party with national political ambitions.
In 2010, Garnett (http://www.timescall.com/longmont-local-news/ci_30883541/boulder-da-stan-garnett-decides-not-run-colorado) ran unsuccessfully for Colorado attorney general. In March 2017, Garnett announced that he wouldn’t try again in 2018, stepping aside to let civil rights attorney Joe Salazar run for the nomination unopposed. There was speculation that Garnett would instead run for Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District’s vacant seat this year. But in July 2017, Garnett (https://www.denverpost.com/2017/07/07/stan-garnett-ponders-2020-senate-race/) stepped aside and allowed another civil rights attorney, Joe Neguse, to run in his stead. Garnett cited his commitment to “staying focused on the reform work we’re doing at the D.A.’s office.”
In response to requests that he reconsider entering the congressional race, however, Garnett (http://www.dailycamera.com/boulder-county-news/ci_31121078/boulder-da-stan-garnett-wont-run-congress-2018) replied that he intends “to look closely at a certain 2020 U.S. Senate race,” all but saying that he has bigger ambitions and plans to challenge Republican Senator Cory Gardner, who is up for reelection in that year. In January, Garnett’s commitment to “staying focused” on his job in the Boulder district attorney’s office suddenly evaporated. Garnett resigned and took a job with Colorado’s powerhouse political law firm, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck.
Though few ordinary citizens would know the name, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck happens to be one of the most powerful (http://glendalecherrycreek.com/2018/03/lord-rings-brownstein-law-firm/) lobbying firms, not just in Colorado, but in the nation. Like any such firm, they employ lawyers and lobbyists from both sides of the aisle. But the firm tilts decidedly toward the Democrats. The New York Times (https://dealbook.nytimes.com/2011/08/05/former-mariner-director-pleads-guity-to-insider-trading/) called its first partner, Norman Brownstein, a “longtime power broker in state and national Democratic politics.” The second partner, Jack Hyatt (https://www.denverpost.com/2017/03/11/jack-hyatt-denver-law-firm-dead-75/), retired 17 years ago and passed away in 2017. But the third partner, Steve Farber, who the New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/14/us/politics/14convention.html) claimed is one of the most well-connected lobbyists alive, as well as a golfing (https://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/14/us/politics/14convention.html) buddy of Bill Clinton’s (we suppose he would have to be), was the chief fundraiser for the 2008 Democratic convention for Barack Obama. The final name on the firm’s masthead, Frank Schreck (https://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/12/18/AR2006121800431_pf.html), belongs to one of Bill Clinton’s chief fundraisers.
Moreover, the firm’s lawyers and lobbyists are well known in Colorado for moving back and forth between positions in the firm and local and state Democratic administrations. For example, current Democratic Governor John Hickenlooper’s chief of staff returned (https://www.bhfs.com/news/2017/governor-john-hickenlooper-s-former-chief-of-staff-doug-friednash-returns-to-brownstein) to the firm this year and also once served as city attorney under Denver Mayor Michael Hancock. So it’s not surprising that Stan Garnett took a job with Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, given his stature in Colorado Democratic politics and apparent plans to run for the Senate in 2020.
The upshot is that Garnett isn’t just the humble former Boulder D.A. that most readers of Farrow and Mayer’s story might assume. Ramirez’s first attorney is a major player in Colorado’s Democratic Party, with a hankering to be its next junior Senator, who now works for a powerful law and lobbying firm with deep connections to the Democratic Party at the local, state, and national levels.
Moreover, according to Farrow and Mayer, when they first contacted Deborah Ramirez, “she was reluctant to characterize Kavanaugh’s role in the alleged incident with certainty,” and it took “six days of carefully assessing her memories and consulting with” this well connected big wheel in Colorado Democratic politics with national ambitions before “she felt confident enough of her recollections to say that she remembers” the allegations she made against Kavanaugh.

We’ve been deservedly hard on Farrow and Mayer. Here, in fairness, it must be said that they explain Garnett’s involvement in getting Ramirez to relay her allegations to them toward the very beginning of the article. Even here, however, they only refer to Garnett as “her attorney” and don’t name him or describe him as a “former Democratic district attorney in Boulder” for another 2,280 words. So only the most committed readers who also know Boulder politics would know of the connections between the Democratic Party and the man who appears as though he may have coached and convinced Ramirez to go public.
Though Farrow and Mayer reported that Garnett was Ramirez’s attorney; and, though a notice was posted the next day at Ramirez’s home directing any questions to him while he was inside meeting with her; when reporters enquired (https://coloradopolitics.com/new-kavanaugh-accuser-is-from-colorado/) at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, they were told that another lawyer, John Clune, from a different firm was handling the case. And when reporters tried to question Garnett (http://www.dailycamera.com/news/ci_32160210/boulder-attorney-confirms-he-represents-second-kavanaugh-accuser) as he was leaving Ramirez’s home, he pointedly refused to comment.
Given that Farrow and Mayer’s article from the preceding day as well as the sign on Ramirez’s home while Garnett was inside identified him as her attorney, obviously the switch in legal counsel must have been done at the last minute.
What could have precipitated it?
And why do Farrow and Mayer give zero information about their source?
And why are they so deceptively vague about how the Senate became aware of Ramirez’s allegations?
And why leave out the fact that Ramirez is co-vice-chairman of Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence?
And why do Farrow and Mayer present Garnett as a humble ex-district attorney rather than what he is: a big wheel in Colorado Democratic politics, working for one of the most powerful lobbying firms in the nation that also happens to have strong connections to the Democratic Party, who’s all but announced his intention to run for the Senate in 2020?
And who is the mysterious “civil rights attorney” who Farrow and Mayer say passed Ramirez’s allegations to the Senate?
A clue to the answers to these questions is provided by something Farrow and Mayer do say and something else they don’t.
The journalists tell us that Garnett became Ramirez’s attorney when, “Senate aides from Ramirez’s home state of Colorado alerted a lawyer, Stanley Garnett.” An NPR (https://www.npr.org/2018/09/23/650979665/kavanaugh-denies-fresh-harassment-allegations-from-college-classmate) story that came after but on the same day as Farrow and Mayer’s tells us what we could have guessed; that it was Democratic Senator Michael Bennet’s (https://www.bennet.senate.gov/public/) office that contacted Garnett. But neither Farrow and Mayer nor NPR nor any other media accounts mention the surprise Ramirez surely must have felt to find out that someone with whom she was well acquainted with through her work on the board of directors of SPAN would be her attorney.
Garnett has been involved with SPAN for at least almost a decade, and it’s impossible to believe that Kavanaugh’s second accuser and the big wheel Democrat weren’t previously acquainted. In chronological order:
2010: An article on then-District Attorney Garnett’s response to the 2009 Bolder homicide rate in Colorado Daily (http://www.coloradodaily.com/ci_14111375) quotes “Alexandra Lynch, development director for the Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence.” Anyone who knows how these things work will realize that Garnett must have referred SPAN to its author.
2010: The Boulder D.A.’s office and a group called “Community Justice Services” issued a “Domestic Violence Statistical Report (https://assets.bouldercounty.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/boco-domestic-violence-statistical-report-2010.pdf).” Garnett signed the opening statement and SPAN Executive Director Anne Tapp, the woman who claimed that the SPAN board of directors meeting on the day Farrow and Mayer’s piece came out was mere “happenstance,” was on the committee that produced it.
2012: Garnett prosecuted (http://www.timescall.com/ci_21228498/boulder-county-jury-convicts-former-safehouse-employee-theft) a SPAN employee for stealing money from their clients.
2014: Garnett was quoted in a puff piece on SPAN in the Daily Camera (http://www.dailycamera.com/boulder-county-news/ci_25146764/boulder-broomfield-safehouse-program-celebrates-35-years) praising the group’s work. Again, anyone who knows how these things work will tell you that SPAN likely sent the reporter to Garnett.
2016: Garnett was on the discussion panel at a film screening/fundraiser (https://myemail.constantcontact.com/SPAN-Event-Update-Feb-Mar.html?soid=1101147582929&aid=YHf_UdNhdAs) for SPAN.
2018: SPAN partnered with the D.A.’s office and a few other charitable organizations to host a panel discussion (http://www.mytowncolorado.com/m/event?id=2021996%3AEvent%3A186005) called “Smart Parenting in a World with Sexting.” Garnett’s name appears on the list of sponsors along with Ann Tapp. Probably she would say it was just more happenstance.
2018: In one of his final public appearances as Boulder district attorney, Garnett was the keynote speaker at SPAN’s annual fundraiser in February.
Boulder’s population is only around 100,000. So, the odds of SPAN board of directors’ co-vice chair Deborah Ramirez and Stan Garnett having no prior acquaintance are astronomically small given the connections between Garnett and SPAN. It’s also possible Garnett being referred to Ramirez by Michael Bennet’s office really was mere happenstance. But then, why didn’t Farrow and Mayer or any of the other journalists covering the story mention their previous acquaintance? Either they are hiding something, or Ramirez and Garnett are. Moreover, their prior acquaintance provides simple answers to all the puzzles mentioned above.
Ramirez switched lawyers at the last minute because she or somebody on her team realized that her prior acquaintance with Garnett and his deep connections to national Democratic politics were likely to emerge if he remained her counsel.
Farrow and Mayer give us zero information about who tipped them off to Ramirez’s allegations because it was someone connected with Democratic Party.
Farrow and Mayer are deceptively vague about how Ramirez’s story made its way to the Senate because it involved Democratic politicians and was one part of an orchestrated plot involving the well-connected Democratic politician who spent six days coaching her before she was willing to tell them of her allegations against Judge Kavanaugh.
None of the outlets covering the story reported that Ramirez is currently serving as co-vice-chair of SPAN because it would have made it too easy to discover she was already acquainted with Garnett.
Farrow and Mayer present Garnett as a simple district attorney because describing him as an important player in Colorado’s Democratic Party establishment would have raised suspicions that her emergence was a coordinated effort by Democratic politicians rather than a spontaneous grassroots phenomenon.
Finally, the mysterious civil rights attorney who Farrow and Mayer claim told the Senate about Ramirez’s allegations may be either Joe Salazar, who you’ll recall was put on the ballot for attorney general when Garnett decided not to run, or Joe Neguse, who was put on the ballot for Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District when Garnett declined to seek that office.
This last answer is mere conjecture on our part. But if, as surely must be the case, Deborah Ramirez and Stan Garnett knew one another before he took her on as his client and spent six days encouraging her to speak with Farrow and Mayer about her lurid allegations against Brett Kavanaugh, then Farrow and Mayer’s silence about the pair’s prior acquaintance is damning. It becomes almost impossible to believe that Garnett wasn’t involved in bringing her allegations to Michael Bennet’s office.
Senator Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) has said (https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/409153-cotton-says-feinstein-will-be-investigated-over-leaked-ford-letter) Dianne Feinstein and her staff will be investigated to determine their role, if any, in leaking Christine Blasey Ford’s letter to the press. We hope Cotton and his fellow Republicans’ disgust with their colleagues from across the aisle isn’t feigned or forgotten. The last thing we need right now is a return to the kind of collegiality that allows the Democrats to play the dirtiest game imaginable while Republicans blather on about their “principles.” Republican principles are only good insofar as they protect Americans from the disastrous effects of the Democrats’ policies and political appointments. More often than not, however, those “principles” serve only to protect GOP lawmakers from those terrible effects, leaving Americans twisting in the wind.
So we very much hope that Feinstein’s role in the macabre charade that was inflicted on the nation in the last half of September receives the thorough investigation it deserves. While they’re at it, Senate investigators might look into Michael Bennet and Stan Garnett. Americans need to know whether the story Farrow and Mayer and other news outlets are peddling about how Ramirez’s allegations reached the Senate is a ruse to conceal just the sort of collusion that Kavanaugh denounced in his opening remarks to the Senate Judiciary Committee. Given all we’ve uncovered, we’d be sincerely shocked if it weren’t so.

Renowned Exorcist Holds Mass To Combat Coven Of Witches Hexing Kavanaugh (https://dailycaller.com/2018/10/18/exorcist-witches-kavanaugh/)
2:21 PM 10/18/2018 | US Joshua Gill | Religion Reporter
An occult bookstore in New York announced that it will host a hex ritual against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh on Oct. 20 in order to make him suffer.
Father Gary Thomas, exorcist for the diocese of San Jose, said that he will offer masses on Kavanaugh’s behalf to counter those curses.
The hex has stirred ire not only from Christians, but also from Wiccans who believe that casting curses is not only immoral, but potentially harmful to those who cast them.
A renowned Catholic exorcist will hold Masses for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh to counter curses cast on him by a coven of witches.
Rev. Gary Thomas, whose training as an exorcist was chronicled in the book “The Rite: The Making Of A Modern Exorcist,” (https://www.amazon.com/Rite-Making-Modern-Exorcist/dp/0385522711/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1539877080&sr=8-5&keywords=the+rite) announced that he will offer Masses for Kavanaugh on Thursday and Saturday to combat the “Ritual to Hex Brett Kavanaugh” hosted by an occult bookshop in New York on Oct. 20. Thomas said he and other exorcists in the Catholic Church were “appalled” at the public announcement of the curse, which he characterized as “a conjuring of evil” and a sign that satanic forces are growing more brazen (https://dailycaller.com/2018/03/01/vatican-trains-more-exorcists-demonic-rising/).
“The decision to do this against a Supreme Court justice is a heinous act and says a lot about the character of these people that should not be underestimated or dismissed,” Thomas told National Catholic Register (http://www.ncregister.com/blog/armstrong/exorcist-and-catholics-respond-to-curse-against-kavanaugh) (NCR). “These are real evil people.”

Catland, the occult bookshop in Brooklyn hosting the hexing ritual (https://dailycaller.com/2018/10/12/witches-plan-curse-brett-kavanaugh/) with a group of self-proclaimed “Antifa Witches,” advertised the event on (https://www.facebook.com/events/179836286297165/?active_tab=about) Facebook and offered tickets on Eventbrite, which quickly sold out.
“Please join us for a public hex on Brett Kavanaugh, upon all rapists and the patriarchy at large which emboldens, rewards and protects them. We are embracing witchcraft’s true roots as the magik of the poor, the downtrodden and disenfranchised and it’s history as often the only weapon, the only means of exacting justice available to those of us who have been wronged by men just like him,” Catland advertised on the event page.

Catland also clarified that while Kavanaugh will be the main focus of the hex, curses will also be directed at “all rapists and the patriarchy at large.” The bookstore encouraged attendees to “bring your rage and and all of the axes you’ve got to grind.” Attendees will also perform a second ritual, in addition to the hex, known as “The Rites of the Scorned One” in order to “validate, affirm, uphold and support those of us who have been wronged and who refuse to be silent any longer.”
The hex ritual will allegedly involve (http://www.patheos.com/blogs/thefreethinker/2018/10/exorcists-plan-counter-attack-against-witches-cursing-brett-kavanaugh/)coffin nails, soil from a cemetery, and effigies. The organizers said that 25 percent of the event’s proceeds will be donated to Planned Parenthood while another 25 percent will be donated to the Ali Forney Center, which advocates for homeless LGBT youths. The event sold out so quickly and was so popular on Facebook that Catland also organized a second hex ritual (https://broadly.vice.com/en_us/article/mbdwnp/witch-hex-brett-kavanaugh) set for Nov. 3.
While some may scoff at the idea of modern-day witches and curses, Thomas insisted that the spiritual consequences, and potential physical effects, of engaging in witchcraft (https://dailycaller.com/2018/06/06/grave-robbing-witches-prostitutes-miami-cemeteries/) are very real.
“I’m appalled” he said. “I sent this to a load of exorcists yesterday and their reaction was similar to mine. That shows this is not something that is make believe.”
Thomas lambasted the occult group, saying that their intent to harm Kavanaugh had more to do with evil than with fighting for freedom.
“This is a conjuring of evil—not about free speech. Conjuring up personified evil does not fall under free speech. Satanic cults often commit crimes; they murder, and sexually abuse everyone in their cult,” Thomas said of occult groups who practiced black magic throughout history.
Dakota Bracciale, co-owner of Catland, affirmed Thomas’ characterization of their intent.
“Basically, it’s all about causing suffering,” she said, according to Newsweek (https://www.newsweek.com/witches-hosting-hex-brett-kavanaugh-rapists-patriarchy-new-york-ritual-1167843). “And we intend to make Kavanaugh suffer.”
Many Christian ministers assert, however, that the redemptive power of Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection is more than powerful enough to nullify any intended curse.

Thomas clarified that the curse will likely be ineffective against anyone in a state of grace, which is to say anyone who has been forgiven of sin and eternally redeemed by God.
Other Christians have also joined Thomas in spiritual intercession on behalf of Kavanaugh, praying and fasting not only for the Justice, but also asking God’s mercy for those who are participating in the hex.
The manager of a Catholic apostolate told NCR she is praying that “God will have mercy on those involved, that He will give everyone the grace of faith and repentance, and that He will grant spiritual protection to Brett Kavanaugh.”
Christians are not the only ones to express opposition and take up spiritual arms against the curse. Even fellow neo-pagans have criticized the hex as immoral and potentially dangerous, citing the Wiccan “Rule of Three,” a law of reciprocity that states that whatever energy one sends out to others will be revisited upon them threefold, be it positive or negative. The rule is a matter of debate among Wiccans as some of whom do not adhere to the rule, though they all adhere to the Wiccan rede, which states: “Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill, An it harm none do what ye will.”

Wicca religion practitioners (L-R) Rev. Don Lewis, Rev. Krystal High-Correll, and Rev. Virgina Powell HPS and student Ashleigh Powell and Cathy Smith participate in a Wiccan Lunar ritual in the temple at the Witch School October 25, 2006 in Hoopeston, Illinois. Wicca is a neo-Pagan religion which uses magic and nature in its teachings. The school, which opened in 2003, offers courses in Wicca theology, hosts seminars and Wiccan rituals at the campus. (Photo by Scott Olson/Getty Images)
Wiccan beliefs concerning blessing and curses are a moot point, however, for those who identify as “traditional witches,” and evidently “Antifa Witches,” who have no qualms about engaging in black magic as a means of vengeance.
“It strikes fear into the heart of Christian fundamentalists,” Bracciale said, according to Broadly. “That’s one of the reasons that we do it. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. We don’t subscribe to this bullshit, pacifist, love and light, everybody just get along thing. If you want to hijack the country; if you want to steal the election; if you want to overturn Roe v. Wade; if you want to harm people who are queer; well guess what: We’re not doing civility.”

Grassley sends criminal referral for attorney Michael Avenatti and Kavanaugh accuser
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/grassley-sends-criminal-referral-for-kavanaugh-accuser-julie-swetnick-and-attorney-michael-avenatti?fbclid=IwAR1pm0U2sBNijqUujYUnqyWIyF97ZoJP-vEqfqOVWNVa_adr-mOtYJMOxHI
Julie Swetnick is the third woman to accuse Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley said Thursday he has referred attorney Michael Avenatti and client Julie Swetnick -- who accused Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct -- for criminal investigation regarding a potential “conspiracy” to provide false statements to Congress and obstruct its investigation.
Avenatti, who also is a potential 2020 Democratic presidential candidate and works as the attorney for porn star Stormy Daniels, represented Swetnick, who accused Kavanaugh during confirmation proceedings of being involved in or present at “gang” and “train” rapes at high school parties in the 1980s. He denied it.
Grassley penned a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray Thursday, claiming Swetnick and Avenatti’s allegations were leveled at a “suspicious” time.
https://media2.foxnews.com/BrightCove/694940094001/2018/09/21/694940094001_5838355188001_5838360098001-vs.jpgVideo (http://video.foxnews.com/v/5838360098001)
“When a well-meaning citizen comes forward with information relevant to the committee’s work, I take it seriously. It takes courage to come forward, especially with allegations of sexual misconduct or personal trauma. I’m grateful for those who find that courage,” Grassley wrote.
“But in the heat of partisan moments, some do try to knowingly mislead the committee. That’s unfair to my colleagues, the nominees, and others providing information who are seeking the truth,” Grassley continued. “It stifles our ability to work on legitimate lines of inquiry. It also wastes time and resources for destructive reasons.”
Avenatti fired back within minutes.
"This is clearly political," he told Fox News. "And fortunately for us, Senator Grassley isn't too smart -- or I should say bright. This was a major mistake on his part. He just cracked open the door and I'm going to drive a Mack Truck through it."
Avenatti added that his client Swetnick "looks forward to comparing her credibility to that of Judge Kavanaugh's."
In a fiery press conference Thursday afternoon, Avenatti charged that "Senator Grassley, nor the White House, would allow the FBI to meet with a single witness relating to my client's accusations. He would not allow the FBI to interview my client, despite our repeated demands."
EX-BOYFRIEND: SWETNICK THREATENED TO KILL MY UNBORN CHILD, WAS 'EXAGGERATING EVERYTHING' (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ex-boyfriend-says-kavanaugh-accuser-julie-swetnick-threatened-to-kill-his-unborn-child-was-exaggerating-everything)
"Senator Grassley just stepped in it, to be clear," Avenatti told reporters. "Thank you, Senator Grassley. It is Christmas in October. ... It is phenomenal. They want to make this an issue? I say, bring it."
Avenatti also hit back on Twitter.

It is ironic that Senator Grassley now is interested in investigations. He didn’t care when it came to putting a man on the SCOTUS for life. We welcome the investigation as now we can finally get to the bottom of Judge Kavanaugh’s lies and conduct. Let the truth be known.
1:04 PM - Oct 25, 2018 (https://twitter.com/MichaelAvenatti/status/1055505458067333120)
In the letter, Grassley cited contradictory statements by both Avenatti and Swetnick in media interviews, specifically pointing to an NBC interview on Oct. 1, when Swetnick walked back the claim that she watched Kavanaugh spike the punch at parties.
“I saw [Kavanaugh] giving red solo cups to quite a few girls,” Swetnick said in the interview, adding that she didn’t “know what he did.”
Swetnick merely claimed she “saw him” by the punch—a comment that contradicted her sworn statement to the committee.
Grassley also said that Avenatti and Swetnick provided “simply no credible evidence that Ms. Swetnick ever even met or socialized with Judge Kavanaugh,” but said “there is substantial evidence they did not know each other.”
Grassley blasted both Swetnick and Avenatti's credibility, citing past personal and financial dealings.
The Swetnick allegations surfaced during an explosive confirmation process for President Trump’s then-Supreme Court nominee.
https://media2.foxnews.com/BrightCove/694940094001/2018/10/09/694940094001_5846617365001_5846617114001-vs.jpgVideo (http://video.foxnews.com/v/5846617114001)
Kavanaugh was first accused of sexual assault by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who shared her testimony on Capitol Hill last month. Ford accused Kavanaugh of pinning her to a bed and trying to remove her clothing at a high school party more than 30 years ago.
Following Ford’s allegations, Swetnick and Deborah Ramirez, who claims Kavanaugh exposed himself to her while at a dorm party during their freshman year at Yale University, also came forward.
Kavanaugh vehemently denied the allegations, in sworn written statements and in testimony before the Judiciary Committee.
After bipartisan calls, the allegations were further investigated as part of an FBI supplemental background probe. Republican senators briefed on the findings said there was no evidence to support the allegations.
Earlier this month, Kavanaugh was confirmed by the Senate on a 50-48 margin to the high court, and sworn in by Trump at the White House.
Grassley’s criminal referral of Avenatti and Swetnick was not the first connected to the Kavanaugh confirmation process – last month, Grassley referred an individual who made false sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh.
”Thankfully, the law prohibits such false statements to Congress and obstruction of congressional committee investigations,” Grassley wrote in his letter Thursday. “For the law to work, we can’t just brush aside potential violations. I don’t take lightly making a referral of this nature, but ignoring this behavior will just invite more of it in the future.”
