I don't know that he's missed it - PCR is no dummy... but simply pointing out the disconnect to those who might have never considered its existence is an important first step to get people to eventually understand the cause for themselves. Of course, you would think after decades of smart folks pointing out what we consider to be obvious problems that there would be more widespread understanding, and that doesn't seem to be the case. Bummer...
