It still astounds me that normal folks don't immediately grasp the hypocrisy regarding how Israel is treated versus America. Border wall is good for Israel, bad for America. Ethnic awareness and cohesion is great for Jews, but bad for American Christians. It's cognitive dissonance at its most extreme.

Americans pay more to protect the border of Israel, than they pay to protect the border of USA.

Case in point - here's a cartoon from the New York Times, implying exactly this, that American soldiers are to protect Israel, not America.

Essentially they make it a virtue to fight wars in the Middle East for Israel vs defending the borders of your country. It is truly absurd! What is even more absurd is that no more than a percent would react negatively to this cartoon among the readers of New York times, if that even...

Trump promised us that Mexico would pay for it.

I wonder if the fact the illustrator chose the term "enrolled" instead of "enlisted" means anything...

I mean other than, ya know, the obvious...

Good point. That is a curious little quirk there. Why wasn't the correct terminology used?

Meh, maybe nothing more than a case of ESL... but being a "journalist" (and not a straight-out-of-college one at that), dude should know the difference.

Maybe the word "enlist" would trigger his target market, while "enroll" is a warm and fuzzy word, used for college classes, health insurance, and EBT?

Do you mean to say words are actually important?

Foxconn Brings Chinese Workers To Its New Wisconsin Facility

And while many - including this site - accused the project of being a giant taxpayer-funded boondoggle, calculating that every job created would cost some $230,000 in incentives,

Foxconn may ultimately hit its hiring target, it now appears that a substantial portion of those "Wisconsin workers" will come from China. Which means that despite the spin and posturing, the end results is that US taxpayers will have given Foxconn millions in tax incentives so the company can build a plant in Wisconsin where it hires... Chinese workers.
