With each generation, there are fewer and fewer of us who recognize that true knowledge and true philosophy are infinitely more important than any worldly or carnal distractions.

We are kinda "Damned if we do. damned if we don't" as far as animal fat. The omega 3 to omega 6 profile of mass produced meats is way askew due to the feed. Also the toxins carried within the fat (fat acts as a reservoir) are something we have never encountered in nature. I have hundreds of pounds of rendered and un-rendered lard that is superior for cooking. I got it from hogs I raised at home, but I still had to feed them what was available at the local feed elevator, thus insuring that we are getting a large dose of glyphosate. Grass fed is the only sensible alternative but it is expensive.
