What I said about Chinese-designed phones stands true. I used to have a ZTE Axon Pro, and now I have a OnePlus 5. Both come with customized Android...the current one, OxygenOS. I've no doubt that the MSS ordered "special features" built into the custom OS. But some or all of that problem can be eliminated with rooting and running an open sourced Android. Did you forget that?

Bought my iPhone SE from Consumer Cellular for $165. Love it. Camera is amazing. What I appreciate was being able to immediately download and clean-install IOS 12 the day it was released. With Android we must wait usually for months before it finally gets updated.
