Thas rite! Thrilver!
I actually sold my wilver in thrill stage $38-45, the problem was that I bought it back already in anxiety stage $27-28

I don't want to say anything dumb here & scare away the little Pd birdie; but it's been forming a lovely base here, under quiet accumulation, prepping for its next leg of blazing new all time highs again.
SHHH! don't even THINK about browsing for good rocket pics!! :-X

Getting closer to a 100 frn spread with Au.
Is the demise of diesel behind this?
so Mar-19 Pd had biggest volume for weeks as she cut through, & closed above that ~$1400 resistance set only ~1 month ago. Expecting a gap open Sun night (USA) when trading resumes; though I'd be surprised if it didn't retrace & close any Sun opening gap, by end of Mon. If she gaps open with high vol, & no retrace, things could get crazy to the upside next week.

I dismiss the stale old "cat converters & jewelry demand" reasons for Pd's behavior. Pd's +75% more spendy than Pt now! Something else is afoot which is a tightly kept seekrit.
I read somewhere long time ago that Pd is an important catalyst in modern munitions production. Then on the other hand very little of the metal is produced every year, something around 10 million oz a year, most of which is consumed in industry... which would tend to cause speculative bursts... If you need it for the war effort, you buy it no matter the price. And then most of it is produced in Russia...
I think that's first I've heard re Pd & some unique/non-substitutable role in "munitions production". Combine with my "something seekrit afoot with Pd" hypothesis, + mass munitions production perhaps sucking up all the metal (obv for some planned war) & driving Pd to it's present all time highs- pretty dark! {0}
Nicer to imagine some paradigm shifting "energy breakthrough", at least as far as what public is eventually told. More likely, a long suppressed energy tech, which they're finally gonna flip the switch on & monetize.
no opening gap last night, but cutting new highs nonetheless. :) Kitco reporting $1467 spot price high, so far. Volume in the Mar-19 contract (shown above) on track to be big again, guessing >6K today.
Pd's cousin Pt unchanged!

PatColo the Palladium Guru.
PRECIOUS-Palladium soars to record high on supply deficit; gold gainsQuote:
Spot palladium rose to a peak of $1,458 per ounce, its highest on record, and was up 1.5 percent at $1,454 per ounce as of 1305 GMT. Autocatalyst manufacturer Johnson Matthey said in a report last week that the deficit in the palladium market will widen dramatically this year as stricter emissions standards increase demand
heh, when I posted this AM, didn't even know it was Preznits' Day, w shortened trading hours! Didn't know at first what to make of low volume (2.2K), & intraday kitco chart flat lining!

Let's just hope for support @ 1400. http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/qui...1&show=&time=7
I bet this is just the shorts last attempt at saving their poor miserable asses. Them being so desperate now made me change my target from $2000 to $2,500. If I am wrong I can hold the metal for another 10 years. I had a look at it a couple of months ago...
...No rust whatsoever! ;D
Are your Pd specimens bare? Mine are sealed in those plastic credit card style jobees. But it occurs, i never even learned what Pd does w air/time exposure; let alone years of lake-bottom exposure where I've stored them involuntarily ever since the tragic boating accident.:(??
I won't mention nor infer that which should never be spoken of, however, you gents have me curious. I am developing a bit of enough curiosity to take a dredge out an see if I am able to find and inspect. I don't remember either sealed or open.
I have pondered selling. Better than wilver.
Yeah those tragic boating accidents, too many to remember, what little I have remaining on land, I have rolled up in a piece of newspaper in a small plastic bag. Pd is supposedly extremely resistant to corrosion though. If it wasn’t I doubt you could use it as a catalyst of rather minute amounts in the highly corrosive environment of a cars exhaust...
Meanwhile gold and platinum are falling
3 tons of gold and platinum fell from a plane during take off
I wish one piece fell on my place lol! toodrie.com - eatrbox.com
nice to see that quick stab into the $1200s Pd took last month was quickly corrected upward, re-formed solid $1300 support, & now in hindsight looking like a double bottom put in. :)
