People hopefully will begin to realize that with every downside, there is an upside. Most people are too damn busy most of the time to pay attention. While being unemployed sucks, it does give folks a chance to stop and reflect how they got there. Plenty of information available, if we work to provide it.

One door closes, another opens. I'm currently trying to navigate this path.

That's a good way of looking at it. While change can be scary at first, I find it interesting that events that seemed horribly catastrophic in my life turn out to work out for the best in the end.

I was listening to a Clif High podcast the other night and he said that (I'm paraphrasing) his life improved a lot when he stopped looking for jobs and instead started looking for work. I wish you luck on you new path!

Today at the grocery store, the guy stocking lettuce was explaining the U.S. $15 trillion debt to a middle-aged female customer. Awesome.

I just discovered 4chan, :), and have to say, there is quite a lot of J team bashing going on there.

I made the mistake of watching a little of the Clinton speech from the DNC last night, and saw some partisan comments on evil Facebook. It made me want to tell people (scream at them, really) to liberate themselves from the manipulation that goes on. I do think people are gradually waking up, but people who are still blindly committed to the Dem/Rep dogfight are just totally lost. I have some friends who have emerged from that ignorance, but I still have other friends on both sides of the D/R aisle who continue to waste energy passionately defending their party.

Even though some of you are crazy (;)), I'm grateful for an audience here at GSUS that is willing to listen and think, and can see the deception and misdirection that goes on at such a grand scale. I don't agree with everything here, but during those frustrating moments when you want to scream at the masses, there's some comfort knowing that this group of liberated thinkers exists. :)

I watched about 10 minutes of old Billy boy, he's probably the best liar I have seen, when the camera panned to the crowd I couldn't believe what I saw in their faces, they seemed mesmerized, hypnotized, super smiley, it was really scary!

I know, zap, that's the scary part. They look totally under his spell.
