Interesting question here though is, rental prop owners need to do a bunch of paperwork hoops to HUD-enable their rentals. Injecting lower class, low & no income brown ppl into high property value, "good school" (haha) areas, will be toxic to the property values (& school quality) there. That includes the rental property values of owners who HUD-out their properties!
Whatever near term "rental income security" value they achieve by doing the HUD thing, will be more than gobbled up the deflating property values which they cause at the same time.
