CENTCOM suspends leave and liberty for troops over coronavirus fears
Quote:
U.S. Central Command said Thursday it was suspending leave and liberty for troops and Defense Department civilian workers to and within its area of responsibility over fears related to the spread of the coronavirus.
“U.S. Central Command is taking multiple prudent measures to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 Coronavirus and to mitigate the operational risk such transmission would pose,” CENTCOM told Military Times in an emailed statement.
CENTCOM said in a memo obtained by Politico that official travel or leave outside the CENTCOM area of operations was not affected.
The suspension of leave and liberty for American troops across the Middle East, first reported by Politico, comes as the New York Times reported Thursday an explosion of coronavirus cases in Iran.
The New York Times reported, citing the Iranian government, that there were 245 cases and that 26 people had died from the virus. Heath experts argue the numbers in Iran are likely higher.
The coronvirus has spread across the Middle East to Bahrain, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait and Lebanon, among other locations, from travelers returning from Iran, the New York Times reported.
Over the last week the U.S. military and several geographic combatant commands have had to make a number of difficult decisions from DoD school closures to the suspension of an exercise in Korea over the rapidly spreading virus.
In the Indo-Pacific Command area of operations, U.S. Forces Korea announced Wednesday it was postponing an upcoming combined command post training following an emergency declaration in South Korea as confirmed cases of the virus exploded.

BitChute UNRIG: IN PRAISE OF THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION -- FAKE PANDEMIC IS OVER -- FINAL ANALYSIS BY EX-SPY
{Edited to correct the name, those two ex-CIAers look alike}
Billionaire and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates said the coronavirus that has killed at least 2,859 people and infected more than 83,700 globally may be the "once-in-a-century pathogen we've been worried about."
"I hope it's not that bad, but we should assume it will be until we know otherwise," Gates wrote in an article published Friday in The New England Journal of Medicine. Gates and his wife, Melinda, founded The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 2000 to help improve world health and combat extreme poverty. The foundation announced Feb. 5 that it would donate $100 million to help find treatments and expand testing for the virus, particularly for poorer populations.
According to Gates, COVID-19 poses a serious threat to the world because it's far more deadly and contagious than many other deadly viruses. "First, it can kill healthy adults in addition to elderly people with existing health problems," he wrote. "Second, Covid-19 is transmitted quite efficiently. The average infected person spreads the disease to two or three others — an exponential rate of increase." World health leaders say the disease is spread by people who are mildly ill or don't show any symptoms at all, making it harder to contain and more contagious than other types of viruses.
The mortality rate is "many times more severe than typical seasonal influenza," Gates said. The World Health Organization said the mortality rate of COVID-19 can differ, ranging from 0.7% to up to 4%, depending on the quality of the health-care system where it's treated. Gates said that its current average estimated fatality rate of around 1% places it somewhere between the 1957 Asian flu pandemic (0.6%) that killed 1.1 million people and the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic (2%) that killed 50 million around the world, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

I suppose all this is a confirmation as to why all those microbiologists were offed over the past 20 years.
Any field reports from your local grocery/food stores yet?
Yesterday morning on my end was business as usual at the local supermarket. However, my boss told me that he was at a Sam's Club today and the place was packed. He had to wait a long time in the checkout line. He mentioned a couple was in front of him that had 2 carts loaded with food that totaled over $600
I'm going back to the local place again tomorrow morning....
The latest from the propaganda organs: DO NOT WEAR RESPIRATOR MASKS UNLESS YOU'RE SICK!
Now there's some good advice, huh? If this virus causes one to be asymptomatic for WEEKS while shedding the virus with every single breathe then how can anyone *know* they're sick if they have no symptoms including no fever or cough, etc.?? We're dealing with a perfected man-made killer virus that is aerosol and airborne being shed by the infectedfor up to 27 days asymptomatically. But we don't need to be protecting ourselves from that, or so we're being told. Fuckers.
I was in a Sam's Club yesterday and there weren't to many people there. Usually there are lines at the checkout but yesterday the girls at the checkout were standing around visiting. I asked one of them if it was usually that slow on Thursday afternoon and she shook her head no. I then asked if she thought people were staying home so they wouldn't catch the flu and she said that's what she was thinking was going on.
So at Sams club we have two reports one it was unusually busy (Ratholers Boss), two it was unusually slow (Tumbleweeds). But in Ratholers local supermarket it was business as usual. In Sweden I went shopping yesterday (Friday afternoon), and it was busy, but usually it is busy at Friday afternoons at this shop. The shelves were filled, no one was wearing face masks. It looked very normal. Ominous...
Trumpstein has a presser @ 1:30.
Was at the local grocery store at 8:00 this morning. Fairly busy but nothing unusual as far as food supplies go. I added some more canned veggies, boxed pasta, and boxed potatoes. Also bought some Salsiccia (Italian sausage) and ground chuck to freeze. A couple more bottles of Cab to fill out my wine rack also made the shopping cart.
I did walk down the shit paper and sanitizer aisle. Plenty of TP, but only 2 bottles of hand sanitizer left. That is the only sign something is going on that I have seen anywhere at brick & mortar stores. The only food shortages that I observe are your typical "survival" food items that preppers buy online. I still have my stash of #10 cans that I bought in 2008 after I awoke.
Time will tell if this is yet another hoax or if we are truly in for some pain. Been thru too many bullshit stories in the last dozen years to truly believe this one yet. Remember how California was going to absorb all of the radiation from Fukishima? The oil spill in the Gulf and so on.....
I find it interesting that Trump said COVID-19 is another DNC hoax story. Between Corona and the stock market, all of his chips are in the middle of table. If the market continues to tank and/or many die in the US, he'll have no chance of re-election regardless of the Commie's nominee. Are these events all part of the script????
Good post RatHoler. I'm with you as far as the final paragraph. My thinking also.
I just copied this from osoab's sigline: "The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."
H. L. Mencken
Of course they don't stop at imaginary. It is often in their interest to do great harm, so yes, it is wise to plan for all eventualities.
Unless you are 90+ years of age, no one in the US has really gone thru horrible times. Yes there has been a few years of rough going here and there, but nothing catastrophic has really happened in the last 75 years (post WW2) to the US populace. 9/11 and the real estate/credit crisis were merely bumps in the road to the vast majority of Americans. The 70's oil crisis is another example. Junk bonds in the 80's. Who gives a shit?
"Things will always rebound" is the common response we always here from the so called sheep. They have yet to be wrong. We argue that one of these days it will be different. They respond with a glance like we are retarded. I remember foolishly telling my relatives on Christmas day 2008 that the next 10-15 years were going to be very difficult for all of us and things that we took for granted in the past would no longer apply. Boy, did my prediction make me look like a dumb fuck or what? I sounded like every guest on Greg Hunter's channel.
Perhaps the only thing that will change the course of the US is if we are no longer the worlds reserve currency (76 years ago) which would probably coincide with the petro dollar also vanishing. Otherwise the decline will come slowly but surely from all of the half breeds and commies that have taken over.
My guess is that most of the active members at GSUS are on the back nine (50+ years old). Are we all going to die with a bunch of under valued silver sitting in our closets? Ponce always bragged about how frugally he lived and his TP stash. What did that get him?
One of these days all of us here at GSUS will be correct... or will we? :)
Those who ‘recover’ can become reinfected and remain carriers after ‘recovery’

My parents (of four children) grew up in the Great Depression and were, until the day they died, both instinctively frugal. Paid off the Family Home mortgage early. No credit cards. Modest auto, furnishings, and wardrobes. Their four boomer children never experienced the underlying reason for their life-long frugality.
We are now WITNESSING the very wisdom of their personal frugality. This jew-tool never had a clue and can't find the word "frugal" in any dictionary.
