I refer to this as the TULIP INDEX.
Take anything real and divide it by anything imaginary and you will approximate the TULIP INDEX. The real part of anything imaginary is ZERO. Therefore real divided by imaginary results in a pole (aka a singularity). Since there is no imaginary component of real the imaginary denominator goes into the imaginary portion of the numerator zero times. But mathematicians are convinced that zero divided by zero results in a one (nothing from nothing equals something).
Where the confusion results is when you try to divide the real component of the numerator by the imaginary component of the denominator. Like only joins with like so the result of this division is NONSENSE as you are attempting to discover how many times imaginary can be subtracted from real.
This is what I call the TULIP INDEX.

hmm, yeah that's all really interesting & shit.
But what's important now is that you agree with the consensus around here, that now is a good time to disembark from this Pd-enburg, yes? :(??

Hmmm ... seems the dealers don't have any to sell. Contracts for delivery to fill?
You are used to seeing the imaginary and your mind makes you believe it is real. When you get ahold of real why trade it for imaginary? There might be a case made for trading the real for something else that is real but the women keep getting older, the whiskey younger and the racehorses slower.

Re: Ohhhh Ahhhh Ohhhh! Palladium!
if U have no current position in Pd, physical or paper markets,
then surely U'd still agree with the consensus here, that Pd would make a great short play in the paper markets right now?
sell, sell, sell.
sell Pd short now and grow rich soon, very rich, very soon --H H--

Agree to sell what I don't have? Why don't I just offer you a quit claim deed to your house? I would only ask for one dollar in exchange.

What about using the imaginary to buy the real?

Never happen. You use the imaginary to make others believe they have sold something. In the process they abandon that thing and to abate the nuisance you step in and claim abandoned property. Claims are all we have. Title we discarded several hundred years ago. To complete the process though you really should place a legal notice in the paper to the effect that you found something abandoned and are claiming it until someone with a better claim appears.

The imaginary price is down 95 bux an ounce this morning .... Yawn!!!
Seems the market wants to shake out as much as they can based upon the volatility.

Imaginary volatility. Correct?

Could be that the market reacts to the no trade deal with China, which may affect the global production of cars, which uses Pd in the catalysators.

More likely a practical use of Pd in cold fusion has been discovered and those in the know are attempting to gain the most metal at the least price.

Yeah makes perfect sense that they shorted the hell out of it as they got a nose on this groundbreaking discovery...

If you intend to be agreeable then by all means understand. Striving to understand means you have to work at it.

Why are you on a forum dedicated to discussion amongst its members? It seems you have a “wavelength” problem, in terms of connecting to others? You take one word in a sentence and then you find a meaning quite different from the posters intention, and turn your interpretation into your answer.
This is totally fucked up!

Due process is NOTICE and the opportunity to INQUIRE. If you believe there is discussion going on then you would likely be mistaken. There is only DUE PROCESS.

Inquire. Or give Notice. Depends upon the circumstances.

LOL we have just started the bull market after 7-8 years of correction. Sure we’ll see smackdowns, but mostly up.

from the chart it's tough to predict where Ag goes, with its run to $49.xx back in spring '11; then ratcheting back down to the teens by 2014 & ever since. Lots of overhead resistance... peeps who bought north of $20 during that 4 years, 2010-2014 where it spent >$20. :(??
I've said many times in this thread now: believe something's up with Pd, breaking to new all time highs as the PM complex snoozed. Surely something to do with the new/alt energy field. I wouldn’t be surprised if it skips any major corrections now and we’ll see $500 silver by end of next year. First major hurdle would be the epic $50 reached in 1980 and 2011. Reason being the many years of 0% or in some cases even negative interest rate fiat (Sweden and Denmark the last 2 years). This time when it comes time to rescue rotten banks (like Deutsche Bank), turning on QE will instantly devalue the money, and everyone will see there is no return from infinite quantitative easing, the show must go on, or instant collapse. And people will finally lose faith in fiat as they see it losing its value by the day. What is surprising is that they managed to keep the illusion running for as long as they have (pure unbacked fiat since the 70’s). The money masters truly are magicians. They increased the monetary supply 100’s of times, meanwhile salaries the last 50 years increased only what 10x? Price inflation certainly greater than that, but managed to make it look lower by Chinese imports and manipulation of goods basket.

^ U seen my thread with a couple John McAfee interviews? Esp his fantabulous BTC/cryptos price predictions?
Thread: John McAfee interview with VLTV - arrests, cryptos, POTUS run
tells Nathan Stolpman BTC $1mm/coin by end of 2020 or he eats his dick on national TV :o
that's about a 100x return from current ~$10k/coin
edit, 'nother interview, crypto podcast

Crypto will be the fastest and easiest way of protecting your asset value in times of high fiat inflation and bank bankruptcy, and also easiest way of transporting large sums of money across borders. Something that is sure to become popular within the next couple of years. The thing is if Bitcoin does a hundred bagger, then some other coins will do 1000x, but this is nominal dollars, so maybe divide it by 5 or 10 for realistic returns in value. Gold for instance would be fairly constant value, maybe double it because it has been manipulated down for a very long time, so 10-20x current price IOW $15-30k/oz.
I know these numbers seem kind of unreachable and unrealistic now. But once everyone is trying to leave fiat hell at once, it can and will happen. But expect collapse of vital infrastructure towards end of run —>bitcoin worthless without electricity/internet

Re: Ohhhh Ahhhh Ohhhh! Palladium!
Last Friday joogle whistleblower Zach Vorhies tweeted this reminder of joog blacklisting alt energy knowlegebase &discussion site...
https://twitter.com/Perpetualmaniac/...67903623815168
http://e-catworld.com
Why did @Google black list this site?
What is #ColdFusion?
Why did @Google keep its own cold fusion research lab a secret for so long?
...and what does this have (if anything) to do with the recent, skyrocketing palladium prices?!
#FreeEnergy #LENR
Then in a comment to that tweet he posted an image of these 2 article titles:

Re: Ohhhh Ahhhh Ohhhh! Palladium!
Hehehe in terms of the ultimate price of Palladium in the manic phase of its speculative bubble, it doesn’t matter if cold fusion is real or not. It will be priced as if it is. Just like fiat currencies nowadays are perceived to have real value.

We are honored to be joined by Zack Vorhies, the brave whistleblower who provided documents to Project Veritas and blew the whistle on Google. We start out by introducing you to the relationship between Google and China. Are they still working on any projects with them or a social credit score?
Next, we learn how AI is evolving, what plans Google has in store and how they intend to use it, and who will have access to it.
Finally, we end the show with a huge breaking story: Google and Cold Fusion, or free energy – What is it? What did Zach discover while working at Google? What are the implications moving forward?
We get a bit technical and science like on today’s show but we hope you enjoy it!

Some guy is paying for catalytic converters. Say you have a POS vehicle for sale that runs, he will give you $400 for the converters and you keep the car. There is more than one guy doing this now. Neither are local and one travels areas far as 1000 miles to do this. Learn me what I am missing here. I think I can go to a local pull the part joint and chop a bunch of these off.

Have not heard of this. IIRC converters were going for big money back in '06-07, probably for the platinum. I cut a couple out and sold them. Can't remember what I got but I think about $150 each. Palladium was a dog back then. If I had only known. I really wanted some of those Russian Ballerinas but never got any.
