Brings me back to that eyewitness video from earlier. It aligns up with what she was saying. They initially said only 3 shots were fired. The fbis own video disputes that claim. LaVoy did have his hands up and did not appear to be reaching for anything from what I could tell.
That was a murder.

FBI releases video of Oregon occupier's fatal shooting by state police
...video taken from an aircraft, Robert “LaVoy” Finicum, 55, can be seen speeding away from law enforcement officials during an initial traffic stop. He then drives his white truck into a snowdrift near a roadblock, nearly hitting a law enforcement officer.
“Law enforcement showed great restraint, and when the vehicle took off it just about seriously injured a law enforcement officer as it barreled toward that barricade,” Greg Bretzing, special agent in charge of the FBI in Oregon, said at a Thursday evening news conference where officials released the video.
It shows Finicum getting out of the vehicle and then lifting his hands in the air as Oregon state troopers approached him with their guns drawn. The video, which is shot from a distance, shows him then lowering his hands toward his body, then falling into the snow as he is shot.
“On at least two occasions, Finicum reaches his right hand toward a pocket on the left inside portion of his jacket. He did have a loaded 9-millimeter semiautomatic handgun in that pocket,” Bretzing said.
Bretzing said that because law enforcement officials still had to deal with the other occupants of the vehicle, it took 10 minutes to start giving Finicum medical aid. An official time of death has not been released...

At the 9:17 mark he's plowing into the snow, it looks like some idiot jumps out in front of his SUV just before he hits the snow bank
he's definitely walking over towards the gang when it looks like the killer jumps out from the tree line (where he'd been waiting) and shoots him in the back
The guy was obviously surrendering

The footage picks up a few seconds before the FBI and Oregon State Police vehicles pull in behind the jeep, the second vehicle in line. The jeep quickly pulls to a stop while the white truck, driven by LaVoy Finicum, continues some distance up the road. Some law enforcement vehicles stay with the jeep while others continue following the white truck.
Out of view of the camera, the following people exit the jeep without incident: the driver, who was not named or charged; Ammon Bundy, the leader of the group occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge building; and protester Brian Cavalier. About four minutes into the video, Ryan Payne exits through a back door of the white truck. In the lower right hand corner of the video, he can be seen with his hands up, being approached by law enforcement officers, and being taken into custody, the FBI said.
For over three minutes, the white truck sits on the road. The FBI edited the time in the excerpted version, but said agents and troopers were telling the occupants to surrender. The white truck is then seen leaving the scene at a high rate of speed. It travels some distance, quickly approaching a law enforcement blockade on the roadway.
“As the white truck approaches the roadblock, there is a spike strip across the road, but it appears Finicum missed it as he attempted to drive around the roadblock,” said the FBI. “He nearly hits an FBI agent as he maneuvers to the left. The truck gets stuck in the snowbank.” At this point, Finicum is seen leaving the truck and stepping through the snow. Agents and troopers were told that Finicum and others would be armed, the FBI said.
On at least two occasions, Finicum reached toward the inner left pocket of his jacket with his right hand. “Finicum did have a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic handgun in that pocket,” the FBI stated. Then Oregon State Police troopers shot Finicum.
The FBI said approximately 30 seconds after the shooting, law enforcement officers deployed flash bangs to disorient any other armed occupants. They then fired sponge projectiles with OC capsules (similar to pepper spray). Agents and troopers arrested the remaining truck occupants and took them into custody over several minutes. Those arrested included Ryan Bundy, Shawna Cox, and another woman who was not arrested and is not named.

I was listening to the live feed on Santillis site with Deb Jordan and she said the people of Burns are organizing a rally to ask Sheriff Dave Ward to resign and also judge Grasty and to tell the FBI to get the hell out of town. Don't know if it's so but I hope it is.

I gave multiple scenarios in my posts.
The more likely scenario (in my opinion) is that though. I'm probably wrong but that's my feelings.
I know you're emotionally tied to this. I get that. I do support what these guys are fighting for, but I'm trying to observe what I can see and give my opinions from multiple scenarios, and the likely scenario based on the mentality of these people. I mean they had little support in the militia community, so these were the fucking die-hards who had little to lose.
The guy is 70 years old. When you're that old you might as well go down in a blaze of glory rather than rot in jail cell a couple years, and die painfully of cancer.

Watching the video I'm almost wondering if he was shot (the cops were shooting the vehicle) and he was putting his hand on his side while trying to maintain his balance. Both hands go up and down, but only one looks like it was on his side. It doesn't look like a reach, if you blow it up and slow the frame rate down I didn't see him actually reach into a pocket but hold his side.

Hard to imagine that if he wanted to go down guns blazing, that he would walk out into the open, stand with his back facing a guy with a gun and attempt to draw on a cop already aiming at him.
I'm pretty sure he would have jumped into the snow bank and opened fire on whomever he could take out.

I thought he may have been hit in the side too and was holding himself when he was looking around.
They were on their way to a meeting to talk about the constitution and a corrupt government that won't obey it and avoids the mention of it like poison. They were led to believe the Grant county Sheriff was a constitutional sheriff and probably thought he would help them.
They were ambushed, Lavoy Finicum killed and the rest will be silenced in prison. The corrupt murderous politicians and their lackeys can get back to their corruption now and continue to fill their pockets with money and driving the rest of the ranchers off the land. No more talk about the constitution.

Woods guy saw fit to actually run up to him and shoot him in the back with a rifle while he was stumbling to maintain his balance
Clearly murdered at close range.
Cop in front was maintaing 45 degree positioning so killer's shot from behind wouldn't penetrate and hit him.
You can see the accomplices hiding behind their vehicles, sort of running for cover before the executioner takes his shot
This was coordinated, no doubt premeditated.
If they flash grenaded the truck, I'm sure it was to provoke the others into fighting or maybe kill them where they sat.

That's most likely because Midnight as well as a few others thought it was stupid of them to take over the federal wildlife refuge to begin with.
Bundy had the moral high ground when he was defending his ranch, but this time he was picking a fight and lost and one of his friends was killed. Most likely by the video shot from 1,000 feet up or so murdered by the FED's. I'm waiting the autopsy report to see if he has a bullet wound on that side he had his hand on.

Probably not, but it would prove my theory right. I mean that's what it looks like in the video when it's slowed down. I don't see him reach, but holding his side. But the video is too grainy and too far away to see any blood. You can clearly see his boots slipping in the snow. The first time you see it when he gets out of the truck and heads towards the woods but sees the cop and stop. When he turns around you can see him slip and his hands jerk down to maintain his balance. The second time it looks like his one hand goes over his side and then you see him fall by the guy in the woods shooting him.
