Give Merlin a break. He has my respect for staying on GIM with all the gay-bashing that's going on. If this place is going to thrive, we need people who are interested in PMs and preps, regardless of whether we always agree on every topic.

Otherwise, every post will be "Me too" and that will get very boring.

And the fact that the Mods over there had sockpuppets, while banning anyone else caught with one, just blows me away. Wow, just when I thought I was hip, my naivete slaps me in the face.

I am a little amazed at the time some people have to research other posters' posting and thanking habits.

Since I'm hanging out in the shallow end already, I would like to know how I obtained my good karma. Is this karma stuff mysterious on purpose (because of the reckless thanking and/or thanking the wrong people at GIM)?

It's just too much time spent online.

And is there a way to find out which posts were given positive/negative karma, and by whom?

I did not see any gay-bashing over there.

I would not want to see homosexual propaganda migrate from that site to this. Personaly I hope this site to be devoted to gold and silver.

Maybe the solution could be to create a special Sub-forum for homosexuals, so people who deem that activity as immoral and offensive could be left alone?

First off, do I know you?

Second, I will remain a member at any forum I wish. Whether or not I spend toomuch time posting there in the future remains to be seen. I am stilla member at Kitco,and probably haven't made 10 posts there in 2 years. My ass is plenty big enough to sit on two stools at once.
