We pledge to keep fighting the NRA and entire gun lobby in an effort to strengthen our background checks to include all firearm purchases, ban assault clips with large magazines that enable mass killers, and to make it more difficult to obtain concealed carry permits. Every person who agrees with us needs to contact their individual representatives and senators and let them know you are outraged over their caving to the gun lobby. The fact that this shooting happened is bad enough. But the stupidity being shown by the 'talking heads' is amazing. They know absolutely nothing about what they are talking about. They must be just repeating what another idiot thought they knew about the subject. Some of what the so called 'experts' are saying is beyond belief. The media is like a headless chicken, running about, crashing into shit, and making a mess by the mindless babbling, with out bothering to check facts.

On his second exit thru this door, a peaceful surrender was the only option.

This may be immaterial, but I want to know why he had TN plates on his car. That was one of the first facts I heard about the case, and now it seems like its kind of been swept under the rug. We've only seen a connection to CO and CA

And wouldn't that set off the alarm?

Or wouldn't that be one of the first things that was reported by police, or the movie theater...

that the emergency/security system had been compromised?

Just prior to a movie starting the ushers/attendants would be hawking those exits as well. (especially a premiere late night showing)
