Yes, the CDC is an incompetent and corrupt and hyper-politicized "scientific" and "medical" federal agency. It has been at least since the "Dept. of Homeland Security" was created -- created in November 2002 in response to 9/11 to "ensure a homeland that is safe, secure, and resilient against terrorism and other hazards."
I wrote a little essay back around 2002 and won a nice new video camera for my effort. As I recall I focused on the "NAZI-like" nature of that new agency and dubbed it the Department of Heimat Polizei . I could see then that 9-11 was the beginning of a neocon effort to destroy the Constitutional Republic of the USA under the guise of "fighting terrorism" derived from the fake terrorism orchestrated and perpetrated by the neocons in the 9-11 false event.
Urge to go on a rant rampage today is high so will administer coffee STAT.

The Founders knew government would be inefficient. They intended the People govern themselves through their State Militia service. All these functions ofbthe CDC, Homeland Security, BATF, BLM, FBI & etc. could and should be effectively performed by the citizens as part of their Militia duty. But people prefer to let the government take care of them rather than do their civic duty. As a result we have the inefficient bloated police state government we are faced with today.

Despite the extreme measures at lockdown in Wuhan the R0 was only reduced to between 2 and 3. To stop the pandemic the R0 must be reduced to below 1.
