He says they pursued and kept the shooter in place with rifles trained on him. The guy was still alive and not fighting back.
But police arrive, and boom, shooter is killed.
Looks like he may of been Antifa. /POL is sleuthing and finding some good info.

Texas Voter Registration for this prick is active, but no party affiliation listed.
Dishonorably discharged from the Air Force...that's quite a feat in today's era.
Original source is "Your News Wire," so this is probably FAKE.

Anyone dishonorably discharged from the armed forces is not legally allowed to own a firearm.

"Remember, remember, the Fifth of November..."
Withdrawn.
All men must accept their personal responsibility to protect their own and get training and start carrying one of those half-billion weapons belonging to Americans.
I get sick of hearing what the problem supposedly is and all these ridiculous, complicated, agendas-driven so-called solutions.
What leads you to believe that the shooter had a Mini-14??
The report of the shooter dropping his rifle indicates to me that the good guy with the rifle scored the takedown hit.

In the hours after the Texas church shooting, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez of Texas erroneously reported the Texas church shooter was named Sam Hyde - who is in fact a name used in an alt-right meme.
During a phone interview with CNN Gonzalez appeared to report all the information he had on the shooting in Wilson County, Texas.
The Democrat lawmaker stated that the culprit was named 'Sam Hyde' during the interview.
'It was reported to me that he's actually not from this community. Apparently his name was released as Sam Hyde, that was the name I was given,' Rep. Gonzalez said.
Vicente got the sam hyde info from 'officials' - longer video here

Planned distraction to what is going down elsewhere, hearing claims about multiple shooters involved again, but it's the same lone gunman MO, who winds up dead, of course.
Looks like its confirmed he was a leftist:

NOTHING MORE DANGEROUS THAN A DEMOCRAT WITH A GUN.
Here's Trump's response to the shooting and about gun control in his press conference in Japan today:

The motive in the attack isn't yet known.
The attack was stopped when a person at the church drew his own weapon and engaged Kelley. The person then pursued Kelley by car into an adjacent county, where the suspect ran off the road and was later found dead in his vehicle, the Los Angeles Times reported.
"At this time, we don't know if it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound or if he was shot by the local resident," said Freeman Martin, the regional director of the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Law enforcement officials are currently searching Kelley's home. Officials said they don't believe Kelley is linked to organized terrorists, but they are looking at social media posts Kelley made before the attack, including one that showed him holding a semiautomatic weapon.
Kelley served in the Air Force from 2010-2014 and reportedly received a bad-conduct discharge after being court-martialed for assaulting his wife and child, the Pentagon told Military.com. Ann Stefanek, an Air Forces spokesperson, said Kelley was an airman who served in logistics readiness at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico.
Kelley was court-martialed in 2012 for two counts related to the assault of his spouse and an assault on his child. He received a bad conduct discharge, confinement for 12 months and reduction in rank.

A search of criminal records in Comal County, where Kelley lived, yielded only minor violations — driving with an expired registration, speeding, failure to stop at a stop sign, driving without insurance.
A New Braunfels Independent School District spokeswoman confirmed that Kelley graduated from New Braunfels High School in 2009, but declined to offer additional details about him.
Dave Ivey, Kelley's uncle, said in a Facebook message that he "never in a million years could of believed Devin could be capable of this kind of thing."
"I am numb," Ivey said. "My family will suffer because of his coward actions. ... I am so sorry for the victims in Texas."
Federal officials said they'd found no obvious link to an organized terrorist group. Abbott said it wasn't clear whether Kelley had relatives inside the church when he opened fire, and Freeman Martin regional director of the state Department of Public Safety, said authorities were investigating whether Kelley belonged to a militia. But Freeman added: "We can't say one way or another."
Police found multiple weapons inside the vehicle, he said.
Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas, said on MSNBC that he did not believe the incident was related to Islamist terrorism but "was some kind of other incident that has to do with the church or the community."
"It's a rural community and a conservative [one], mostly farmers and ranchers and people who work out in the oil and gas patches," he said, adding that the area was "very tranquil and very safe."
sounds like he worked at the base in new mexico, got kicked out, then wen to live in colorado springs (where the air force academy is). why would he do that after getting kicked out?

The gunman who reportedly killed at least 26 people at a Texas church Sunday lived at a Colorado Springs mobile home park as recently as 2014, according to voter records.
He served in Logistics Readiness in Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico from 2010 until his discharge in 2014, the AP reported.
Sometime that year, he moved to the Fountain Creek RV Park in Colorado Springs, according to public records.
Kelley registered as an unaffiliated voter in Colorado on Nov. 13, 2014, according to state voter records. But he never voted, and his registration was changed to inactive after his 2016 mail-ballot was returned.
He did not have a criminal record here, according to a Colorado Bureau of Investigation background check.
His next known address was New Braunfels, Texas, a suburb of San Antonio where he lived until Sunday’s shooting.
million dollar home in new braunfels is a mansion
http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer...t-we-know.html
New Braunfels is a suburb of San Antonio, located about 35 miles north of First Baptist Church. Kelley grew up in the town, in a home worth nearly $1 million.
Kelley’s first marriage ended in divorce in 2012. He married in New Mexico in April 2011, and was sued for divorce in October 2012, according to court documents obtained by the Albuquerque Journal. The papers say the couple had no children together, but were living with a child from the wife’s previous relationship.
He married again in 2014, and according to CBS News his second wife’s name is Danielle Lee Shields. Kelley’s mother-in-law listed a P.O. box in Sutherland Springs as a mailing address.
"[Kelley] was always talking about how people who believe in God were stupid and trying to preach his atheism."

Typical MSM newspseak.
Notice how thew shooter is always called a COWARD, SAME M.O., they always USE the SAME MEME!!!
Even is this is a real EVENT, why would a guy like this be a COWARD??!?!?
It takes GUTS to do what he did no matter what the reason or motive is.
Stupid, idiotic, Satanic, criminal, etc. all these words COULD be used to describe such a person but COWARD?
Oh please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Makes me want to puke, the actors narrative is getting OLD!!
Proof that StreetsofGeld is a crypto. It says shooting unarmed children and women inside a church-house "takes guts."
It must have "taken guts" to beat up his ex-wife and a little kid, too, which got him kicked out of the USAF.
When the armed good guy with the gun, Stephen Willeford, showed up, Killer Kelley ran away like the coward he was.
Someone at Academy is likely in big trouble...

But even if the assault charges didn't technically go down as domestic violence, assault alone can be treated as a felony, which should preclude gun ownership. And even if the charges didn't go down as felonies, the twin charges carried a maximum sentence of over a year in prison, and therefore should preclude gun ownership.
The federal government's firearm transaction record, which buyers must legally fill out, asks about felony convictions. Kelley bought a Ruger AR-556 rifle, used in the attack on the church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, in April of last year from an Academy Sports & Outdoors store in San Antonio, a law-enforcement official told CNN.
...Or did Obama's FBI botch the NICS check?
