^ make that 7+ days now; 8 if you dismiss July 4th's featherweight "patriots yada yada" drop. Sure gets boring when you're a "Q hobbyist" and Q dries up for this long. Patriots' Soapbox goes all bible talk & "the old days" talk, & a little current events on the side; the other Q vloggers dry up or they review old drops; many bandit vloggers re-up real Q vloggers' old junk with deceptive current dates & thumbnails! :(

The only "new Q news" I see making the rounds is some artificially injected 'theory' that the late JFK Jr, is alive & is Q. Sounds like an op to make all Q believers out as idiot-CTists. Recall JFK Jr. "died in a small plane crash" in '99 ushering killery into the NY Senate seat which both were competing for, & JFK Jr was leading in the polls.

If the "JFK Jr = Q" theory is a synthetically injected cog-dissonance psyop to kookify Qanon, as I first assumed; Q's #1698-1701 today are doing nothing to debunk it! Even add 1702, re the Fed... as recall JFK's whacking was in big part due to his "threat to the Fed" in Executive Order 11110.
It would be a mind blower indeed if the theory were true; John-John faked his own death (+ wife & SIL), & is now working to reverse the effects of the 11/22/63 deep state coup d'etat!
& surely not the 1st time today Q has brought up JFK & Jr. CTRL-F https://qanon.pub for "JFK", 22 matches. A handful of these are clearly JFK Airport ref's, and several more are repeats where Q quotes their earlier posts; you can flip through all the matches & assess.

Still unclear what Q has been suggesting re Michael Avenetti (Stormy's lawyer); inferring he had some preknowledge of an attempt to shoot down AF-1 as Trump did the Canada/Singapore trip early last month? Q would need to be less cryptic for us to make heads/tails of that.

Trump rally attendee holds up sign linked to conspiracy theory
By Avery Anapol - 07/31/18 07:37 PM EDT 320

An attendee at President Trump’s rally in Florida Tuesday night held up a sign promoting the “QAnon” right-wing conspiracy theory.
Video from the rally shows an attendee near the front of the crowd raising a sign reading “We are Q,” apparently in reference to the QAnon conspiracy. The sign was visible on live-streams of the Tampa, Fla. rally.
The QAnon theory spawned from an anonymous user on online message boards 4Chan and 8Chan claiming to be a high-level government official with “Q” security clearance.
“Q” has been responsible for the spread of several conspiracy theories, including that Trump is secretly fighting the “deep state” – a ring of government officials working to take him down.
QAnon has also been linked to the “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory that falsely accused Hillary Clinton of involvement in a child pedophilia ring, which escalated when a gunman opened fire at a Washington, D.C., pizza restaurant.
The QAnon theory has gained traction with far-right figures, and has been promoted by the likes of Roseanne Barr and Alex Jones, among other conservative figures. A Florida county Republican Party earlier this month tweeted, then deleted a YouTube video outlining the QAnon theory.
Another sign at the rally referencing QAnon also mentioned Seth Rich, the Democratic National Committee staffer who was shot and killed in Washington, D.C., last year. Right-wing conspiracy theorists claimed without evidence that Rich's death was linked to the WikiLeaks release of hacked DNC emails.
Fox News and multiple conservative media figures are facing lawsuits from the Rich family for allegedly spreading the theory.

‘We are Q’: A deranged conspiracy cult leaps from the Internet to the crowd at Trump’s ‘MAGA’ tour
President Trump’s latest legal strategy revolves around discrediting his longtime lawyer Michael Cohen.
(JM Rieger/The Washington Post)
by Isaac Stanley-Becker August 1 at 6:43 AM Email the author
On Tuesday evening, the dark recesses of the Internet lit up with talk of politics.
“Tampa rally, live coverage,” wrote “Dan,” posting a link to President Trump’s Tampa speech in a thread on 8chan, an anonymous image board also known as Infinitechan or Infinitychan, which might be best described as the unglued twin of better-known 4chan, a message board already untethered from reality.
The thread invited “requests to Q,” an anonymous user claiming to be a government agent with top security clearance, waging war against the so-called deep state in service to the 45th president. “Q” feeds disciples, or “bakers,” scraps of intelligence, or “bread crumbs,” that they scramble to bake into an understanding of the “storm” — the community’s term, drawn from Trump’s cryptic reference last year to “the calm before the storm” — for the president’s final conquest over elites, globalists and deep-state saboteurs.
What Tuesday’s rally in Tampa made apparent is that devotees of these falsehoods — some of which are specific to faith in the president, others garden-variety nonsense with racist and anti-Semitic undertones — don’t just exist in the far reaches of the Web.
Believers in “QAnon,” as the conspiracy theory is known, were front and center at the Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall, where Trump came to stump for Republican candidates. As the president spoke, a sign rose from the audience. “We are Q,” it read. Another poster displayed text arranged in a “Q” pattern: “Where we go one we go all.”
The symbol appeared on clothing, too. A man and a woman wore matching white T-shirts with the YouTube logo encircled in a blue “Q.” The video-sharing website came under criticism this week for unwittingly becoming a platform for baseless claims, first promoted on Twitter and Reddit by QAnon believers, that certain Hollywood celebrities are pedophiles. A search for the name of one of those celebrities on Monday returned videos purporting to show his victims sharing their stories.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/resiz...RPIA7DCEYY.png
Audience members at a Trump rally on July 31 in Tampa wear T-shirts referring to the “QAnon” conspiracy theory. (The Washington Post)
The prominence of the “Q” symbol turned parts of the audience into a tableau of delusion and paranoia — and offered evidence that QAnon, an outgrowth of the #Pizzagate conspiracy theory that led a gunman to open fire in a D.C. restaurant last year, has leaped from Internet message boards to the president’s “Make America Great Again” tour through America.
“Pray Trump mentions Q!” one user wrote on 8chan. He didn’t need to. As hazy corners of the Internet buzzed about the president’s speech, his appearance became a real-life show of force for the community that has mostly operated behind the veil of anonymity on subreddits.
It is stunning to me how many ppl in this #TRUMPTAMPA crowd have QAnon signs or t-shirts. That is not a healthy sign for GOP or for America.
— Adam Smith (@adamsmithtimes) July 31, 2018
Trump himself has at times been a purveyor of conspiracy theories, most notably in refusing for years to back down from his false claim that Barack Obama was not born in the United States. He also asserted without evidence that Obama had wiretapped Trump Tower, peddled the debunked idea that millions of illegal votes cost him the popular vote and associated the father of Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas with the assassin who shot John F. Kennedy.
But viewing their message boards, it’s clear that QAnon crosses a new frontier. In the black hole of conspiracy in which “Q” has plunged its followers, Trump only feigned collusion to create a pretense for the hiring of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III, who is actually working as a “white hat,” or hero, to expose the Democrats. Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and George Soros are planning a coup — and traffic children in their spare time. J.P. Morgan, the American financier, sank the Titanic.
In the world in which QAnon believers live, Trump’s detractors, such as Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona and Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, wear ankle monitors that track their whereabouts. Press reports are dismissed as “Operation Mockingbird,” the name given to the alleged midcentury infiltration of the American media by the CIA. The Illuminati looms large in QAnon, as do the Rothschilds, a wealthy Jewish family vilified by the conspiracy theorists as the leaders of a satanic cult. Among the world leaders wise to satanic influences, the theory holds, is Russian President Vladimir Putin.
QAnon flirts with eschatology, fascist philosophy and the filmmaking of Francis Ford Coppola. Adherents believe a “Great Awakening” will precede the final storm foretold by Trump. Once they make sense of the information drip-fed to them by “Q,” they will usher in a Christian revival presaging total victory.
The implication is that resolving the clues left by “Q” would not just explain Trump’s planned countercoup. It would also explain the whole universe.
When “Q” is absent for long stretches of time, followers take note.
“Please tell me where to go,” one wrote last month. “I feel lost without Q.”
Some big names have bought into the fantasy. Roseanne Barr, the disgraced star of the canceled ABC revival that bore her name, has posted messages on Twitter that appear to endorse the QAnon worldview, fixating on child sex abuse. She has sought to make contact with “Q” on social media and has retweeted messages summarizing the philosophy built around the online persona. Among QAnon’s promoters are also Curt Schilling, the former Boston Red Sox pitcher, and Cheryl Sullenger, the antiabortion activist.
There is a component of QAnon that can be interpreted as a direct call to action, which has already had real-life consequences.
The Newport Beach Police Department said recently it was looking into the presence of a man outside Michael Avenatti’s law office after a link to the lawyer’s website and images of his office building appeared in QAnon threads. This spring, armed members of Veterans on Patrol stumbled on a homeless camp and demanded that authorities investigate it as a site of child sex-trafficking, NBC reported. They later thanked QAnon followers for taking up their cause.

What Is QAnon: Explaining the Internet Conspiracy Theory That Showed Up at a Trump Rally
Do you remember Pizzagate? It’s a little like that: a web of baseless conspiracy theories. And its supporters were highly visible at an event for the president in Florida.
Image
https://static01.nyt.com/images/2018...isable=upscale
Some attendees at President Trump's rally in Tampa on Tuesday wore T-shirts with a block letter Q.CreditChris O'Meara/Associated Press
By Justin Bank, Liam Stack and Daniel Victor
Those watching President Trump’s rally in Tampa on Tuesday couldn’t help but be exposed to a fringe movement that discusses several loosely connected and vaguely defined — and baseless — conspiracy theories.
In one shot on Fox News, the president was partially obscured by a sign in the crowd reading “We Are Q.” In another shot during the president’s speech, a sign promoting the debunked Seth Rich conspiracy theory, with the hashtag #Qanon, came into focus in the center of the screen. Some attendees wore T-shirts with a blocky Q. Others held up signs with the letter.
They were all self-described “followers of Q,” an anonymous person or group of people who claim to be privy to government secrets. That supposedly classified information has been revealed on the 4chan and 8chan message boards and spread around mainstream internet platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Q has attracted people — the exact number is hard to know — eager to consume his “bread crumbs,” or new details in a sprawling web of conspiracy theories.
What is going on?
Just give me the basics so I can minimally understand what’s going on
Here is the short version: Q claims to be a government insider exposing an entrenched, international bureaucracy that is secretly plotting all sorts of nefarious schemes against the Trump administration and its supporters. The character uses lingo that implies that he or she has a military or intelligence background.
It’s a stew of various, but connecting, conspiracy theories that generally hold Mr. Trump as a conquistador battling a cabal of anti-American saboteurs who have taken over government, industry, media and various other institutions of public life in a plan to … well, the overarching goals of the nefarious actors are not clear.

The slightly longer version
A growing group of people (more on the scale and scope of that community below) are coalescing around a collection of theories and half-thoughts that they believe reveal an untold story of current world events. To decode what they believe is actually happening, followers of Q sift through the president’s tweets, government data sets or news articles.
Ben Decker, a research fellow at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard, described followers of the QAnon narrative as “an interactive conspiracy community.”
Sometimes followers of Q just look for signs that he exists. A popular Rosetta Stone they use is to look for uses of the number 17 (the letter Q’s placement in the alphabet). So when Alabama’s football team presented Mr. Trump with a jersey with the number 17, it was taken as coded signaling of Q’s influence. (The team was visiting the White House as the champions of the 2017 college football season and had presented President Barack Obama with a jersey bearing the number 15 when it visited after winning a championship in 2015.)
Q’s followers ascribe secret coordination and hidden motives to an endless parade of politicians, journalists, and leaders of industry and other institutions. Often, their theories are wildly at odds with reality.
The community uses the language of mind-bending pop culture alternate realities like “The Matrix” or “Alice in Wonderland.” It is common to tell stories of how followers have been “redpilled,” or have come to believe that observable reality is false and the QAnon narrative is real.
The shared rush to interpret clues from a “drop” of information from Q resembles something close to what video gamers call an MMO, or massive multiplayer online game.
Why should I care about a fringe corner of the internet?
Because QAnon is not limited to a fringe corner of the internet. In addition to its front-and-center presence at Mr. Trump’s rally, it has been promoted by celebrities including Roseanne Barr and Curt Schilling, the former baseball star who has a podcast for Breitbart.
The paranoid worldview has crossed over from the internet into the real world several times in recent months. On more than one occasion, people believed to be followers of QAnon have shown up — sometimes with weapons — in places that the character told them were somehow connected to anti-Trump conspiracies.
“The biggest danger is you are one mentally unstable person away from the next massive incident that defines whatever happens next,” Mr. Decker said. “The next Pizzagate, which for better or worse did define the political conversation for a while.”
In June, a man armed with a rifle and a handgun drove an armored vehicle to the Hoover Dam on what he said was a mission from QAnon: to demand that the government release the Justice Department’s report from its inspector general on the conduct of F.B.I. agents during the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.
The report had actually been released the day before, but Q’s followers believed there was a secret, second report that contained far more damning information about the F.B.I. There is no indication that such a report exists. The man was arrested after a standoff with the police.
Most recently, a suspicious and possibly armed man showed up at the law offices of Michael Avenatti, the lawyer for Stephanie Clifford, the adult film performer known as Stormy Daniels, after Q posted a link to Mr. Avenatti’s website and a picture of the office building. The man did not enter the premises.
In an interview, Mr. Avenatti said he had received a large number of threatening emails and social media posts in recent months, “but this one we have significant reason to believe posed a significant threat.” He said local law enforcement was investigating the incident.
“I do think it is dangerous, absolutely,” Mr. Avenatti said. “And I think it is incumbent upon the president to quash this nonsense as opposed to feeding it.”
Mr. Decker said the prominence of QAnon T-shirts and signs at Mr. Trump’s televised rally in Tampa, and the elevation of that imagery via cable news coverage of the rally, were troubling. “In a sense, the internet won,” he said.
“These are communities craving attention, they’re craving media appearances, they’re craving exposure so they can further propagate,” he said. “It is very concerning to exponentially increase the audience of this content to eight-, nine- or 10-figure populations.”
What else can we say about the size and scope of this community?
The /r/GreatAwakening subreddit board vibrantly shares memes with 49,000 followers, making it a medium-size board. There are Facebook groups, one of the most popular of which has nearly 40,000 members sharing hundreds of posts with one another a day.
Video explainers of Q followers talking through potential connected topics have racked up millions of views on YouTube, and the numbers of tweets out there are too numerous to count (and the difficulty in discerning genuine posts versus bot activity makes Twitter a poor measuring stick anyway).
But perhaps the greatest signal of the sustained, dedicated audience for this discussion can be found in the seismic traffic to websites and apps set up to collect and curate preferred 4chan posts about Q.
In April 2018, an app called “QDrops” was among the 10 most downloaded paid iOS apps in the Apple Store, according to an NBC report that cited an analytics site.
The Qanon.pub site was created in March 2018 and has quickly established an audience of over seven million visits a month, according to the web analytics company SimilarWeb.

Fans of bizarre 'QAnon' cult show up in droves at Trump rally with signs and t-shirts promoting group spun off from #Pizzagate pedophilia conspiracy theory
- Followers of the online conspiracy were seen in the audience at President Trump's Tampa rally, waving signs and wearing t-shirts
- QAnon perpetuates talk of a 'deep state'
- It grew out of the Pizzagate plot that claimed without evidence top Democrats were running a pedophilia ring
- Trump did not acknowledge the group or its followers in his remarks
- He has talked about a 'deep state' and conspiracies in the past

You’ll never guess how the QAnon conspiracy theorists feel about all this media coverage

For months, a man calling himself Bill Smith obsessed over the YouTube search rankings for QAnon, where his conspiracy-fueled videos competed with those made by other believers for the top few slots on the list of results. On Wednesday, Smith was dethroned by a rush of mainstream outlets, who each produced their own videos explaining the conspiracy theory after its existence suddenly went viral.
In a livestream to 45,000 YouTube subscribers on Wednesday, Smith looked at his diminished status — and sounded ecstatic. “I haven’t been this happy in a very long time,” he said. “CNN, NBC News, MSNBC, PBS News Hour, Washington Post, MSNBC, those are our new QAnon reporters!” Smith burst into laughter. “I can’t wait until I see Shepard Smith reporting on QAnon.”
“This is the moment!” he said. Finally, QAnon was mainstream.
[How QAnon, the conspiracy theory spawned by a Trump quip, got so big and scary]
QAnon is a complicated conspiracy theory stemming from the cryptic 4Chan posts of a figure calling themselves “Q,” as countless articles have explained over the past week. But it is also one of the most overtly ambitious ones to emerge in recent memory, in that its adherents and amplifiers intentionally seek to bring its existence to bigger and bigger audiences. As we at The Intersect wrote earlier this week, QAnon is the conspiracy theory that gives conspiracy theorists hope: Q’s horoscope-like posts promise that a reckoning for their enemies — Democrats, liberals and especially the Clintons — is coming at any moment.
So you can understand why an entire news cycle about QAnon — sparked by believers’ visibility at a Tuesday Trump rally in Florida — is the best thing to ever happen to its believers. What was once circulated on hashtags, YouTube keywords and fringy message boards now has an audience of, potentially, the entire country.
As a search term, QAnon certainly became more prominent this week. Here’s a Google Trends chart of the past eight months of search interest from December 2017 — around when it first started to gain any traction — and now. See that big spike at the end? That’s this past week:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/resiz...GKYBFWVM4E.png
Google Trends
Paris Martineau, a writer at the Outline who was one of the first to identify and explain QAnon (also known as the Storm) in December, has been warning about the inevitable spike in interest for months. As the QAnon news cycle exploded, she warned that “Attention is attention is attention” also applies to conspiracy theories.
“The spread of QAnon is planned, with an assist from the polarization-prone algorithms of every major social media app,” Martineau also wrote in April. “QAnon followers spend hours upon hours online debating the best way to ‘redpill the normies,’ and created countless guides and cheat sheets in order to bring new members into the fold as quickly as possible. Of late, it seems to be working.”
It doesn’t take six-dimensional chess to figure out that the Internet is the perfect setting for a conspiracy theory like QAnon. A social media platform’s algorithms are designed to show its users things that they want to engage with and share, and what better for that than a single theory that seems to neatly explain the entire world, no matter how wild and unproven? And, there’s the added bonus of hate-sharing. As I wrote in February, the thing about sharing something online in outrage is that it’s still a share.
[Algorithms are one reason a conspiracy theory goes viral. Another reason might be you.]
Journalists cover conspiracy theories because their job is to tell the truth about the world around them, and things like QAnon beg for a sane fact check. But in doing so, said Whitney Phillips, an incoming assistant professor of communication and rhetorical studies at Syracuse University, they’re also doing work for the people who want to make QAnon visible.
“The problem is that the information is exactly what the evangelists want. It risks bringing more people into the story who can be converted,” Phillips said. “These reports — they are serving an important function even as they are doing the worst possible thing they could do.”
In QAnon land, this amplification is talked of in terms of war, one that they have been expecting on their march to victory. “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then we win,” Smith told his live-stream audience. For him, the media blitz on Wednesday meant that the media had moved on to fighting against them. Since QAnon can explain everything, according to its believers, the media coverage just becomes part of the plan. “It’s never converged like this moment, that I’m watching right now,” Smith said.
On the Reddit board devoted to QAnon called — no joke — the Great Awakening, one post thanked the mainstream media for their coverage. “Your coordinated attack just launched Q into the mainstream and has strengthened the resolve of the believers,” it read. Other posts dissected each and every QAnon article that has been published this week, while others offered supportive messages to the flock of newcomers to their board, driven there, they assumed, by all the mainstream coverage.
When people show up at a Trump rally carrying signs and wearing T-shirts about Q, explaining why that’s happening is part of the media’s job. For those who have been watching the conspiracy Internet for a long time, the question is less whether to cover a conspiracy, but how.

listening now; so far same old same old anti-Q "argument" by 2 hardened curmudgeons who are dogmatic about "how the world works" therefore Q is just a psyop. They don't provide any "new anti-Q evidence", just bemoan how hopelessly corrupt everything is-- the "optimistic Q view" is implausible to their world paradigm, therefore it aint so. And they regurgitate the usual collection of smears towards pro-Qs: "cultists", "followers" yada yada.
Rense & Holland have a dilemma in that last week's JSM "4am Memo" explosion of anti-Q coverage agrees with the anti-Q view they're reciting in this show. But coz they're so "alt-media/red-pilled", they also have to project a skeptical view of the JSM; meaning they have to do this awkward dance where they try to obscure their alignment with that same JSM! Only difference is they throw in the "joo/israeli psyop angle", which the JSM will never do of course-- however Rense/Holland offer no additional evidence, other than repetition re "that's how the world works."

I've heard of "Epoch Times" b4, but never read enough to form an opinion of them. Here they have a fair/balanced Q article, arguably even positive, centered around a Jordan Sather interview. :)

‘Q’ Community Responds to Media Attacks
By Joshua Philipp, The Epoch Times
August 7, 2018 Last Updated: August 7, 2018
https://www.theepochtimes.com/assets..._e-700x420.jpg

Over the past week, nearly all legacy news outlets have published articles criticizing the growing movement around a mysterious figure or group known as “Q,” which since October 2017 has been publishing alleged leaks on behind-the-scenes actions taken by the Trump administration to uproot alleged global corruption.
The general angle on Q from most news outlets is the same—that it’s a conspiracy theory—and The Washington Post even went so far as to call it a “deranged conspiracy cult.”
The media backlash has done little to dissuade Q supporters, however, who continue to support the movement with billboards and t-shirts at Trump rallies, and in numerous online groups that analyze and discuss recent news and posts from Q.
To gain a better understanding of the movement, and why people believe in it, The Epoch Times spoke with Q fans at recent Trump rallies in Pennsylvania and Ohio, and with Jordan Sather, a prominent figure online who speaks and writes about his analysis of Q.
“Anybody calling it a cult or calling it a conspiracy theory, or calling it names, is doing so from an ignorant standpoint. Everybody attacking it, I find, they’re not even reading it,” said Sather, who runs the “Destroying the Illusion” channel on YouTube, on which he analyzes Q posts.
Q is a series of anonymous posts on the 8chan forum, which includes encryption to protect the identity of users, allowing for free discussion. The Q posts are mainly based on politics and focus on giving context to events both in the past and allegedly still to come. They focus heavily on government corruption and allege that actions are being taken by Trump and his administration to purge this corruption.
Sather described Q as a “laser pointer” that directs people to research chains of open-source information and discuss their findings on the forum.
He said that Q “hopped on the scene at a very pivotal point,” in October 2017. According to Sather, there is a fight between a “deep state” system comprising intelligence agencies and corrupt organizations, and an alliance of military intelligence agencies and patriots fighting this system. This fight, Sather believes, ties to President Donald Trump’s campaign message to “drain the swamp.”
https://www.theepochtimes.com/assets..._e-600x413.jpg
The audience at President Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again rally in Tampa, Fla., on July 31, 2018. (Charlotte Cuthbertson/The Epoch Times)
Sather said, “What 2016 and 2017 brought us was an opportunity with Donald Trump for somebody who is not going to go along with the rogue intelligence agencies anymore, and that’s when Q popped onto the scene as basically the big public warning saying stuff is going to start going down.”
The Q forum has received a large following. On June 28, Time Magazine listed Q as one of “the 25 most influential people on the internet.” Some users follow Q posts directly on 8chan, while many others follow various websites and YouTube channels that republish and analyze the posts.
Francesca Spotts, 38, who works as a bartender, was holding a Q sign at an Aug. 2 Trump rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. “The information is for you to investigate yourself, just like the news,” she said. “If you’re watching CNN, you’re looking at information and it’s up to you to go out and validate that information in other places, and this is the same thing. It’s just a different news outlet.
“Q is basically just a forum for news—tidbits of information that the American public can see for themselves and figure out for themselves. It’s news that we’re not seeing on the mainstream media. So that’s why there’s a big following.”
Jay Domer, 27, who works as a cook, was at the Aug. 4 rally in Lewis Center, Ohio. He said that he has been following the Q posts for several months and that some of the posts point to hypocrisy in legacy news outlets. “[Q posts] a lot of CNN and Washington Post articles, and basically uses their own articles against them,” he said. “So, this is what they posted two years ago, and this is what they’re posting today, and they’re the complete opposite.”
Rachel Reed, 27, who works as a manager at a retail store, was attending the rally with Domer and noted that, from her perspective, the attacks on the Q movement by legacy news outlets “mean we’re doing something right.”
“If we were no threat, they wouldn’t have to waste their resources and time to silence us,” Reed said.
https://www.theepochtimes.com/assets..._e-600x400.jpg
Rachel Reed and Jay Domer line up for a Make America Great Again rally in Lewis Center, Ohio, on Aug. 4, 2018. (Charlotte Cuthbertson/The Epoch Times)
She also pointed to the more than 45,000 sealed indictments said to be waiting currently at the Justice Department and noted that in a normal year the number is only 2,000 to 3,000. A team of volunteers compiled the number of indictments using the Public Access to Court Electronic Records service of the federal judiciary. Reed believes the sealed indictments are tied to Q claims about the Trump administration clearing out corruption.
According to Sather, many news articles have attempted to analyze who Q is, rather than why the posts exist. In Sather’s analysis, the Q posts are part of an information dissemination project being run with the purpose of informing the public about political events as they take place.
“This is a full disclosure,” he said. “This isn’t just small little pieces of corruption. The amazing thing about this Q operation is it connects the dots over so many connections.”
He said that if the Trump administration were to uphold its promises to “drain the swamp,” it would likely look like what Q is discussing. He also said that it if the alleged events are real, it makes sense that it is done through an alternative channel rather than legacy news outlets or social media that could censor the information.
Sather also believes that the sometimes indirect nature of the posts, which use abbreviations for names and incidents, relying on the community to decode the meaning, is also done in a way that would not violate national security laws.
Part of the belief that Q is a back channel of the Trump administration is also tied to alleged “proofs” the movement has received from Trump tweets that subtly correspond to Q posts, or other actions such as pointing to people with Q shirts and signs at rallies. Sather noted a recent video where the Trump motorcade honked at supporters holding a sign that read “Honk for Q MAGA.”
Sather also noted, “If this was a conspiracy, why hasn’t Trump himself distanced from it? If this would hurt his platform in any way, now or in the future, you’d think he would have said something about it by now. I mean, it’s everywhere.”
Charlotte Cuthbertson contributed to this report.
Jordan also mentioned that @OANN (One America News Network) did a really bad Q video piece, even though they're nominally alt/conservative. But Jordan didn't link to the vid, so I haven't seen it! :(
