I had a bad about Brandon Curtis feeling when he first arrived in Burns. The Terry Lee interview reinforced my feelings. I don't trust him either.

Why Sheriff Glenn Palmer and Grant County, Oregon were referred to as a United Nations Free Zone

In the LaVoy Finicum investigation report that was released by the Deschutes County Sheriff’s department recently, one Oregon State Police officer states that it’s known that Sheriff Palmer wants to keep his county UN free. Well the funny thing is that Grant County, Oregon actually did pass a UN free resolution back in 2002.

Sheriff Glenn Palmer, of Grant County, Oregon (the only county in the United States that, interestingly, has declared itself a UN free zone by vote) appears to be in the cross hairs for some of his actions during the occupation of the Malheur Wildlife refuge in neighboring Harney County. Sheriff Palmer met with some of the people involved at the refuge and also voiced support for releasing Dwight and Steven Hammond (more on their story here and here.) and for sending the FBI packing from Harney County. Those are two opinions I suspect the majority of Harney County residents would agree with, but the federal government certainly does not.

Grant County voters have raised eyebrows by passing two ballot measures on May 21, Oregon’s primary day.
One bans the United Nations in Grant County; the other would let local residents cut trees on federal land, whether or not the U.S. Forest Service says it’s legal or environmentally acceptable.
The two measures — passed by about 2-to-1 margins — arise from anger and frustration felt by many residents who sense they no longer control their lives, their livelihoods or the land.

Sworn Officers Chose the United Nations Over the US Constitution, then Murdered LeVoy Finicum
Some of the officers involved in the LaVoy Finicum murder were called into the offices of the Oregon State Police on 31 Jan, 2016 for interviews. I will include the link to the entire document below, but for purposes of this article I am going to include a brief excerpt to illustrate the outright treason spoken by “Officer 1.” Officer 1 was asked if he had any information as to what kind of support, or how many supporters, that Ammon Bundy and friends had in the neighboring city of John Day. The quote below is how he answered (seen on page 111 of the accompanying document):
“I KNEW GOING INTO IT THAT THERE WAS A SHERIFF IN GRANT COUNTY THAT WAS SUPPORTING THE MOVEMENT, OR THE IDEOLOGY BEHIND WHAT THEY WERE PUSHING. I KNEW THAT THERE WAS A LARGE AMOUNT OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN GRANT COUNTY THAT SUPPORTED THEIR BELIEFS, AND THAT HAD SIMILAR CONSTITUTIONAL BELIEFS, AND TO THE POINT OF THE GRANT COUNTY MAKING IT CLEAR THEY ARE A UN FREE ZONE, AND SO THAT KNOWLEDGE WAS KNOWN TO ALL OF US.”
DOJ Launches Investigation Into Grant County Sheriff
When Oregon State Police stopped Robert “LaVoy” Finicum along a remote stretch of Highway 395, the militant was desperate to reach one man.
“I’m going over to meet with the sheriff in Grant County,” Finicum yelled to troopers during the Jan. 26 fatal traffic stop, moments before his death. “You can come along with us, and talk with us over there.”
Finicum had reason to try and reach Sheriff Glenn Palmer. Over his four terms in office, Palmer has been outspoken about what he sees as government overreach.

Grant County sheriff demands coordination with Forest Service
Unhappy with the U.S. Forest Service after a summer of devastating wildfires, Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer has made his own natural resources plan to influence the management of public lands.
Palmer deputized 11 county residents to write and adopt the local plan, though it remains unclear whether they have legal standing to coordinate with the feds.
The move caught county commissioners off guard at a Sept. 30 meeting, where Palmer declined to put his plan on the agenda and instead brought it up during public comment. He said he is invoking coordination through the sheriff’s office, and asked for the commissioners’ support.
“I ask for things from the Forest Service to do my job, and I get the door shut in my face,” Palmer said at the meeting. “I’m having a heck of a time getting out to do my job.”

In 2011, a group in Grant and Harney County then formed the Southern Blues Restoration Coalition to get some of the dollars from the Federal government under the CFLRP.
Well, 2011 was when Sheriff Palmer had some problems with the United States Forest Service and ended up having to fire his undersheriff, Todd McKinley (who by the way is now running for sheriff against Palmer).
So since then this Southern Blues Coalition has been working to get money from the government and they formed something called the Blue Mountain Forest Partners:

Meanwhile, in 2015, Sheriff Palmer deputizes a group of people and they write the Grant County Public Lands Natural Resources Plan.

Collaborative Forest Landscape Restoration Strategy
The strategy is made up of two parts, one being the Malheur National Forest Strategic Plan, which has identified specific priorities on the Forest. The second portion of input comes from two established forest collaborative groups, the Blue Mountains Forest Partners and the Harney County Restoration Collaborative, who created the “Bigger Look,” which identified several important treatment priorities within the Malheur National Forest.
The priorities included timber stand densities, key wildlife habitats, old growth, adjacent private land, and economics.

1st is the revelation of Oregon State Police Officers involved in the planning of the highway ambush that the road block was moved from Grant County, as originally planned by the FBI, to occur within Harney County specifically to insure Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer was not involved in the traffic stop. This was done according to the deposition of an Oregon State Police Officer because “I knew going into it there was a Sheriff in Grant County supporting the movement or the ideology behind what they were pushing…was a large amount of community members in Grant County, that supported their beliefs and had similar Constitutional beliefs, and to the point of the Grant County making it clear they are a U.N. Free Zone…” When asked if this is the reason the traffic stop was moved to Harney County that officer replied, “Absolutely”. The FBI originally intended to conduct the operation in Grant county as they believed, with Sheriff Palmer’s relationship with the Malhuer Activists and their trust of him, that the probability of a peaceful resolution was greater in Grant County than Harney County. This decision was overridden by Oregon State Police and the FBI Tactical specifically to reverse that probability. A reasonable person could easily conclude from that fact, that Oregon State Police and the FBI Tactical Team wanted to create the opportunity for violent confrontation.
Unique Collaboration Wins $2.5 Million in Federal Funds To Restore Oregon’s Malheur Forest (press release)
The Forest Service announced yesterday that a forest restoration project, developed by WELC attorney Susan Jane Brown in collaboration with a diverse group of conservationists, ranchers, timber companies, county governments and others, on the Malheur National Forest will receive $2.5 million through the Collaborative Forest Restoration Landscape Restoration Program (CFLRP). The “Southern Blues Restoration Coalition” project will result in 154 new jobs, restore almost 272,000 acres of wildlife habitat, and produce significant economic benefits in Grant and Harney Counties.
The Project is the brainchild of the Blue Mountains Forest Partners (BMFP) and the Harney County Restoration Collaborative (HCRC). BMFP convened in 2006 and operates on the north end of the Malheur National Forest in Grant County. HCRC convened in 2008 and operates on the south end of the Forest in Harney County and southern Grant County. Both collaboratives are comprised of diverse individuals including county residents, conservationists, forest contractors, timber company representatives, ranchers, city and county representatives, as well as significant participation from the United States Forest Service. These two collaboratives have been working together since 2008, and have recently termed their joint collaboration the “Southern Blues Restoration Coalition.”

Both the High Desert Partnership and Harney Basin Wetlands Initiative will be receiving funding to protect wetlands habitat. Exciting News! The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) voted today to allocate more than $1.6 million to support the Harney Basin Wetlands Initiative (HBWI)! This funding set-aside represents the down payment on a proposed 6 year, $6 million commitment to HBWI. The funding will be used to control carp that have destroyed the historic marshes in Malheur Lake and work with ranchers to maintain and improve flood irrigation on private lands that provide habitat for millions of migrating birds and forage for livestock grazing.
We want to thank all of our partners for their time and energy spent in making this happen! Although stakeholders do not always agree on every issue, they have worked hard to listen, learn from one another, and to find very significant opportunities to move forward together. Another alarming detailed jumped out of the report: One police officer said they changed the kill stop (also called a deadman’s blockade), never used on civilians, from Grant County to Harney because Grant was a “UN-free Zone.” WE will be reporting more on what exactly that officer meant in our next update.

In 2008, in response to the need to increase the pace and scale of restoration for the dry side forests of Eastern Oregon, a new collaborative group was formed for issues on the Southern Malheur National Forest. As a result, the Harney County Restoration Collaborative was convened by the High Desert Partnership, Harney County Judge Steve Grasty, and The Nature Conservancy. The Harney Country Restoration Collaborative, commonly called the HCRC, has a mission to restore forest land. In the spring of 2008 Governor Kulongoski designated the HCRC an Oregon Solutions project because it had multiple benefits to communities in the southern region of the Malheur National Forest. A Declaration of Cooperation was signed by the diverse stakeholders in 2009 and Common Ground Principles were written and agreed upon in September of 2009. I don't know, today he was in Las Vegas Nevada and entered a not guilty plea for the 16 charges at Bundy Ranch. Maybe Lory Storm got bad information. Time will tell.

It is no secret that the Constitutional Sheriff is poison to the constitution-breaking Federal Government. And, subsequently, the Feds would like nothing better than to neutralize the powers of a Constitutional Sheriff. But, would the Feds knowingly break the law with plans to shield themselves via Federal Supremacy? It appears that they would, and it wouldn’t be the first time.
In the People vs Dotson case outlined below, one can see the precedent of claiming Federal Supremacy after “one of their own” has committed a crime. The document is lengthy, but worth the read. The case is an excellent backdrop to a discussion of the dynamics of federal Supremacy Clause immunity.

Special Agent in Charge of Oregon Standoff Linked to Bundy Ranch Lead Agent & Wrongful Deaths in 2009 Investigation

Special Agent in Charge Greg Bretzing has been providing press conferences in the wake of the Oregon standoff and the murder of LaVoy Finicum. However, it has come to my attention that Mr. Bretzing has also been linked to the lead agent at Bundy Ranch, as well as wrongful deaths related to a 2009 Indian Artifact Investigation.
The Los Angeles Times has the complete story of what took place in Utah during the artifact investigation. It’s a horrible story of entrapment that led to several suicides, including Dr. James Redd and an undercover agent.
Red Smith, at Shasta Lantern, sums up what took place:
In 2009, current Special Agent in Charge of the Malhuer Occupation, Greg Bretzing was the Special Agent in Charge of a massive investigation into the theft of Indian artifacts in the Four Corners region of Arizona, Colorado, Utah and New Mexico. The investigation centered around the alleged taking of and sale of Indian artifacts from Federal Lands. However those lands, while under BLM management, are public lands and the legality of removing artifacts is still in dispute. The two year long investigation headed by Bretzing culminated in June 2009 when FBI and BLM agents conducted coordinated raids on 24 defendants serving 12 separate indictments.
Understand that four of the alleged criminals in the investigation were over 70 years old and had spent much of their lives collecting Indian artifacts.
Dr. Redd’s son, Jay, talks about what took place and calls out the Bureau of Land Management as those responsible for his father taking his own life in the video

However, the wrongful death suit that the Red family filed named one man in particular, Daniel P. Love, who was the lead investigator in the 2009 investigation. This is the same man who was the Special Agent in Charge in Bunkerville, Nevada at the Bundy Ranch standoff. However, it was Agent Bretzing who provided testimony in the wrongful death case claiming that Love’s actions were justified due to alleged threats against federal agents when they were attempting to serve warrants against Dr. Redd and his wife, who were in their 60s at the time. Sound familiar to anything else these guys do?
Smith goes on to write about some of the details of the investigation as well as point out some of the strong arm tactics and thuggery that Bretzing seems to have following him everywhere he goes.
Central to the case was one Ted Gardiner, a former super market chain owner turned drug addict, who was broke and burning furniture to stay warm when he was contacted by the FBI and Special Agent Dan Love, who pressured him into turning informant. Paid $10,000.00 initially, Gardiner would receive $7,500.00 a month for the next two years to covertly film artifact collectors and dealers in an attempt to build the Government’s case. Gardiner was the one that ultimately led to the Redd’s being indicted in the case over a small shell smaller than the size of a dime that was carved into the effigy of a bird. The piece in question had been discovered by the Redd’s on an artifact hunting trip near their home in Blanding, UT. Gardiner arrived at the Redd family home in an attempt to sell what he claimed to be Native artifacts, Jeannie Redd ended up trading the small bird shell for a turquoise pendent Gardiner passed off as being found on Comb Ridge. In fact he had just purchased the item from two meth addicts in a nearby trailer. Special Agent in Charge Bretzing and BLM Agent Love considered this “trafficking in Native Antiquities”. It was these kind of methods of entrapment and outright deception that led to serious questions regarding the case.
The LA Times provided the following information about what later took place:
Nearly a year later, early on the morning of June 10, 2009, Jericca Redd was making breakfast with her mother when, through the kitchen window, she saw movement on the front walk. “Holy cow,” she said. “What is this?” Men in flak jackets moved up the steps, weapons drawn. “Federal agents!” they yelled. She unlatched the door, and the officers shouldered in. “Where’s the white bird?” one shouted. Officers handcuffed Jeannie and kept asking about the white bird. Jim Redd arrived home from his morning rounds 15 minutes later to find half a dozen SUVs in the driveway and agents crouching in the junipers. They hauled him out of his car at gunpoint, handcuffed him and took him to the garage. A BLM special agent interrogated Redd for the next four hours, according to family members. The agent taunted him, pointing to garden tools and asking, “Which shovelhttps://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/...=1459466482322 do you like to dig bodies with?” He told Redd he would lose his medical license for illegally removing an ancient artifact from the Navajo reservation.

The agents searched the Redds’ home until late that day. Jericca said Love told her 140 agents were in and out of the house. A neighbor said snipers were perched on the roof. When they departed, it was sitting unnoticed on the bottom shelf of Jeannie’s display case.

During the investigation, Gardiner had spent $335,685 buying 256 artifacts — both illegal and legal. He was the only person connecting all 28 defendants. No charges were filed against the biggest collectors.
“Special Agent in Charge Bretzing’s link to this case is troubling in light of the accusations of wrongdoing and excessive tactics that mirror the current situation in Burns, Or. and the circumstances surrounding the death of LaVoy Finicum,” wrote Smith. “Now enter into the equation the question of Indian Artifacts at the Malhuer Reserve and accusations that occupiers were defiling them and one must begin to become suspect.”
“Considering Agent Bretzing’s connection to another investigation, one involving the FBI and fraud, corruption and National Security Leaks out of the FBI’s Salt Lake City Office, it is a downright frightening pattern,” added Smith. “Throw Bretzing’s ties to BLM Agent Dan Love and Love’s connection to the Bundy’s into this circus of similar coincidences and that pattern begins to crystallize. Where FBI Agent Greg Bretzing goes, questions of corruption, fraud, strong arm tactics and death will follow.”

- Judge Kessler was removed from the case, the second Judge to fall under the relentless

prosecutors had already le the case.
- The buck stopped with the arrival of Chief Judge Roberts. So did any semblance that any
Rule of Law would be followed in the DC Gun Case. Stunned observers were le with
one irrefutable conclusion:
- Chief Judge Roberts was presiding over a War Crimes Tribunal. USC 50- War and
Na onal Defense – Chapter 3, Sec on 23 carries the only judicial reference that
would allow a Judge to prosecute such a frivolous charge as a serious criminal
felony.
- The ONLY EXPLANATION for the case could be found under the Laws of War: Rod
Class was being charged for a BREACH OF THE PEACE DURING A TIME OF WAR.
- How could a civilian be picked up on charges and treated as if he was a prisoner
of war? Vietnam came to mind.
- It slowly dawned on the observers: War on Drugs, War on Drunk Driving, War on
“Deadbeat Dads,” War on Terror: Endless War! Finally, the form of Law was
starkly revealed: ALL TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS, ALL HOME FORECLOSURE CASES, ALL
CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT CHARGES, ANY CIVIL CASE THAT CARRIES A

That was a good interview.^ I've listened to it twice now and i also followed the link to the Panama papers information in the comments. I'll probably listen to it again because the more I listen to it the clearer it becomes. It all makes sense to me and is what I would expect the criminals running our government would do.
I believe as they say there were many infiltrators around the patriots and there still are. The Bundys were set up to provide a case for dealing with other patriots in the future.
Anyone who resists the traitors who are in control of the government will be dealt with as the Bundys and Lavoy Finicum were. Murdered or imprisoned like they were in Ukraine in the early 1930's when the communist/Bolshevik/Jews collectivized the farms.

That reminds me of a story Miron Dolot wrote of in his book "Execution by Hunger". He tells of a young boy who told the teacher at school his parents were hiding food. His parents were either murdered or sent to a Gulag. The government praised him for his patriotism but the people in the village killed him for telling the government on them. Best to keep your mouth shut as Mick says above.

God only knows how, but Special Agent Greg Bretzing was made the Special Agent in Charge at the the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge despite having previously been linked to the standoff at the original Bundy Ranch that almost ended in bloodshed (see below), and despite that he had already been investigated back in 2009 for another wrongful death that occurred on his watch, and was involved in several other investigations, one involving the FBI and fraud, corruption and National Security Leaks out of the FBI’s Salt Lake City Office.
How on earth does that happen? Most people have no idea how close the Bundy Ranch actually came to a bloodbath. By the 5:30 mark of the video below, your stomach will be in your throat. Then he gets ANOTHER assignment involving the same people? WHAT?!?!? His badge and gun should have been taken! Thankfully, earlier this week Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz has introduced House Bill, titled “H.R.4751 – Local Enforcement for Local Lands Act of 2016,” that strips the BLM of all authority.

I read the reports in a couple of news releases. He was in a different county, Clark County, Washington. The sheriff wasn't aware until after the fact. I think Gavin Seim is out of line painting Sheriff Rommel as the bad guy.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Refuge occupier Jake Ryan will remain in a Portland jail pending trial despite assurances from a Montana sheriff that he would keep an eye on him if returned to that state.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul Papak said Thursday he might have granted pre-trial release had Ryan surrendered last month after learning that a grand jury had returned an indictment against him. Instead, Ryan became a fugitive until his arrest Tuesday in Clark County, Washington.
“The fact that you went into hiding — into hiding armed — causes me great concern,” Papak said.
Ryan, 27, of Plains, Montana, was one of more than two dozen people charged because of their involvement in the 41-day takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon. The men and women were protesting U.S. land restrictions and the imprisonment of two ranchers who started fires.
Ryan traveled to Oregon in January with four firearms and served as a guard.
His attorney, Jesse Merrithew, asked the judge to let Ryan return to Montana pending trial. He stressed that Ryan has no criminal record, and Sheriff Tom Rummel of Sanders County fully supported having Ryan return to Plains, something he wouldn’t want if Ryan were a problem.
Merrithew said the sheriff told him that if Ryan ran, “he would track him down himself.”
Assistant U.S. Attorney Craig Gabriel countered that Rummel is a friend of Ryan’s family, failed to find him during the month he went into hiding and is not entirely cooperative with federal law enforcement. “If he’s released, law enforcement is unlikely to find him again,” Gabriel said.
Ryan was arrested after a landowner called to report a trespasser in rural Clark County, Washington. An officer found the young man sleeping in a shed, a loaded gun nearby.
Merrithew said Ryan ran because of fear, because others were giving him bad advice and because he wasn’t getting clear information about what he was facing. “He is motivated to fight this case and does not want to run,” Merrithew said.
Ryan has pleaded not guilty to charges of with federal conspiracy to impede officers, possession of a firearm or dangerous weapon in a federal facility and degradation of government property.
The prosecutor told the judge that Ryan could be a danger to federal law enforcement if released because he has anti-government views.
According to Gabriel, Ryan filed a stolen property report against the FBI after learning agents confiscated three weapons he had hidden in a trailer at the refuge. Moreover, after Tuesday’s arrest, he told agents transporting him to Portland that he couldn’t believe they agreed to work for such a tyrannical agency.

The Portland Oregon judge, Anne Brown isn't going to allow any outsider interveners or private attorney generals or any common law papers to be entered in the Malheur cases. I sent Ryan Bundy a package of documents today. He probably can't use them unless he handwrites everything because the old biddy knows he doesn't have access to a printer.
