Military Documents About Gain of Function Contradict Fauci Testimony Under Oath

Military documents state that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in March 2018 seeking funding to conduct gain of function research of bat borne coronaviruses. The proposal, named Project Defuse, was rejected by DARPA over safety concerns and the notion that it violates the gain of function research moratorium.

The main report regarding the EcoHealth Alliance proposal leaked on the internet a couple of months ago, it has remained unverified until now. Project Veritas has obtained a separate report to the Inspector General of the Department of Defense, written by U.S. Marine Corp Major, Joseph Murphy, a former DARPA Fellow.

“The proposal does not mention or assess potential risks of Gain of Function (GoF) research,” a direct quote from the DARPA rejection letter.

Project Veritas reached out to DARPA for comment regarding the hidden documents and spoke with the Chief of Communications, Jared Adams, who said, “It doesn’t sound normal to me,” when asked about the way the documents were buried.

The documents in question stem from a report at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, better known as DARPA, which were hidden in a top secret shared drive.

DARPA is an agency under the U.S. Department of Defense in charge of facilitating research in technology with potential military applications.

Project Veritas has obtained a separate report to the Inspector General of the Department of Defense written by U.S. Marine Corp Major, Joseph Murphy, a former DARPA Fellow.

The report states that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in March 2018, seeking funding to conduct gain of function research of bat borne coronaviruses. The proposal, named Project Defuse, was rejected by DARPA over safety concerns and the notion that it violates the basis gain of function research moratorium.

According to the documents, NIAID, under the direction of Dr. Fauci, went ahead with the research in Wuhan, China and at several sites across the U.S.

Dr. Fauci has repeatedly maintained, under oath, that the NIH and NAIAD have not been involved in gain of function research with the EcoHealth Alliance program. But according to the documents obtained by Project Veritas which outline why EcoHealth Alliance’s proposal was rejected, DARPA certainly classified the research as gain of function.

Major Murphy’s report goes on to detail great concern over the COVID-19 gain of function program, the concealment of documents, the suppression of potential curatives, like Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, and the mRNA vaccines.

Project Veritas reached out to DARPA for comment regarding the hidden documents and spoke with the Chief of Communications, Jared Adams, who said, “It doesn’t sound normal to me,” when asked about the way the documents were shrouded in secrecy. “If something resides in a classified setting, then it should be appropriately marked,” Adams said. “I’m not at all familiar with unmarked documents that reside in a classified space, no.”

In a video breaking this story published on Monday night, Project Veritas CEO, James O’Keefe, asked a foundational question to DARPA:

“Who at DARPA made the decision to bury the original report? They could have raised red flags to the Pentagon, the White House, or Congress, which may have prevented this entire pandemic that has led to the deaths of 5.4 million people worldwide and caused much pain and suffering to many millions more.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci has not yet responded to a request for comment on this story.

Given the recent outbreak of the Omicron variant and much still unknown about it, the facts surrounding the Delta variant provide a cautionary tale of how misinformation about SARS-CoV-2 variants provides cover for people who have caused widespread harm and countless deaths.

Government officials and media outlets have often blamed the Delta variant—and are preemptively blaming the Omicron variant—for:

-surging Covid-19 hospitalizations and deaths amid rising vaccination rates and booster shots (President Biden & the New York Times).

-Covid-19 outbreaks in schools (the CDC & WebMD).

-inflation (the Washington Post & the New York Times).

-supply chain disruptions (NPR & the Washington Post).

-sagging economic growth (Reuters & Yahoo Finance).

-“a lot of the problems with the economy” (CNN).

While the Delta variant is much more transmissible than earlier SARS-CoV-2 variants, its mutations don’t materially compromise the naturally acquired immunity that develops when people catch and recover from Covid-19. Though mass media has led people to believe just the opposite, at least 20 studies conducted throughout the pandemic have found evidence that such immunity is potent and lasting.

In contrast, the current crop of Covid-19 vaccines initially provide strong immunity against Delta and earlier variants, but this appears to start waning a few months after vaccination and drops dramatically by six months. The exact reasons for this are not yet proven, but three major possibilities rooted in empirical facts include the following:

1) The vaccines are injected into muscles, which produces little-to-no immunity in the upper respiratory tract where the SARS-CoV-2 virus first infects people.
2) The vaccines target only one area of the virus called the “Spike protein,” while naturally acquired immunity targets the entire virus.
3) The vaccines trigger an immune reaction to only a few Spike variants, while natural naturally acquired immunity attacks a diverse array of Spike variants.

Data and studies on the Omicron variant are just beginning to pour in, but genetic and immunological research suggests Omicron will be more of the same but with greater transmissibility, a lower death rate, and faster vaccine waning. In other words, it seems ideally suited to mitigation via naturally acquired immunity.

However, the higher transmissibility of Omicron requires much better measures to protect people who are highly vulnerable to C-19. This has been a staggering failure of the authorities responsible for C-19 policies.

Taken together, the thoroughly documented facts below show that the horrors commonly blamed on variants are ultimately due to inept policies and actions. Yet, policymakers and public opinion shapers are failing to learn from their errors and continuing down the same destructive paths.

Ph.D. biostatician Dr. Rodney X. Sturdivant, the Director of the Statistical Consulting Center at Baylor University, critically assessed this research and stated, “People will learn more about Covid immunity and vaccines from this article than if they watched and read everything published by most major media outlets since the outset of the pandemic.”

A tiny administrative agency in the District of Columbia announced a new policy Tuesday that will likely serve as a model for a whole-of-government push to assemble lists of Americans who object on religious grounds to a COVID-19 vaccine.

The Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia—a federal independent entity that assists officers in the District of Columbia courts in formulating release recommendations and providing supervision and services to defendants awaiting trial—announced a new records system that will store the names and “personal religious information” of all employees who make “religious accommodation requests for religious exception from the federally mandated vaccination requirement.”

The announcement does not explain why the agency needs to create this list except to say that it will “assist the Agency in the collecting, storing, dissemination, and disposal of employee religious exemption request information collected and maintained by the Agency.” In other words, the list will help the agency make a list.

The announcement also does not say what the agency will do with this information after it has decided an employee’s religious accommodation request.

And neither does the announcement explain why the Biden administration chose to test this policy in an agency with a majority-black staff, who are both more religious and less vaccinated than other groups. So much for the president’s commitment to “racial equity.”

We’re starting to suspect that President Joe Biden is not keeping his promise to have the most transparent administration in history.

What’s really going on with this announcement at this tiny agency? Likely, the Biden administration is using it to stealth test a policy it intends to roll out across the whole government.

Almost nobody has ever heard of the Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia, and very few people pay close attention to it or are covered by its policies. Indeed, at of the time of publication of this article, the announcement has been viewed only 16 times.

However, had Biden announced, for example, that the Department of Labor intended to adopt this policy, it would be big news. The Federal Register where announcements like this are made would be flooded with comments that the department would have to address.

That would, of course, delay the policy’s rollout. With the Pretrial Services Agency, Biden likely expected that the policy would land quickly and without a splash. As it is, the notice of a new announcement provides less than 30 days for public comment.

Biden may not be winning points for transparency, but he’s doing his best to win first place in subjecting Americans with sincerely held religious beliefs to differential treatment.

Take the Department of Defense, for example—which has failed to grant a single religious exemption on behalf of any service members requesting one for the federal vaccine mandate. A group of Navy SEALS was recently successful in its federal lawsuit against the Biden administration on claims that its conscience rights under the First Amendment and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act were violated.

From the outset of his administration, Biden voiced support for passage of the patently faith-hostile Equality Act—a bill that would gut the Religious Freedom Restoration Act entirely when it intersects with LGBTQ+ protections and entitlements in public accommodations.

The president also swiftly revoked the Mexico City policy that had been reinstated by former President Donald Trump, thereby ensuring that religious Americans would be forced to fund abortions overseas by way of their tax dollars, despite their religious objections to the act.

While employers, employment agencies, or unions with 100 employees or more are prohibited under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 from engaging in disparate treatment and from maintaining policies or practices that result in unjustified disparate impact based on religion, this administration doesn’t seem to have gotten the memo.

That, at bottom, is what this policy is about.

A 13-year-old girl from Araranguá, Brazil died shortly after receiving her first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. In Thailand, a 25-year-old doctor died 1 month after receiving the Pfizer booster shot.

The families of the Brazilian girl, Vanessa Martins Figueiredo, and Thai doctor, Kansuda Wichaisuek, said both were healthy and had no pre-existing health conditions before getting the shots.

Vanessa's mother, Alice Romano, said in a Facebook post: “My daughter just died because of the Pfizer vaccine”.

Brazilian news outlet Revista Oeste cited family members as saying that Vanessa Martins Figueiredo received her first shot on Nov. 9 and developed Bell’s Palsy five days later.

The girl suffered facial paralysis and weakness on one side of her face. She underwent treatment with the medicine corticosteroids (an anti-inflammatory) for her condition, but her health worsened over the weeks and she was hospitalized on Dec. 29 with respiratory problems. The 13-year-old was then intubated and transferred to the Joana de Gusmão Children’s Hospital in Florianópolis on Jan. 2.

Wichaisuek, also known to her friends and family as “Dr. Po”, got her booster on Dec. 7 and became seriously ill ten days later. She died on Jan. 7, The Covid World reported.

Wichaisuek suffered no immediate symptoms after getting the booster, but ten days later started to experience side effects including high temperature and fever. She took a Covid test which came back negative and blood was also drawn which showed no problems, the report said.

She was taken to a hospital on Dec. 23. Po’s symptoms improved after five days and she started rehabilitation at Ratchburi hospital. But she unexpectedly suffered a setback, and on Jan. 4 she messaged her father about high fever and a drop in her blood pressure. On Jan. 6, she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and was resuscitated multiple times. However, she became brain dead after a period of being unconscious, the report said.

Suraphon, Dr. Po’s father, was devastated: “My daughter had received the booster shot, but the doctors try not to mention any relationship to the vaccination. She was never sick before the vaccine, but after vaccination, she was always sick. I was already skeptical about the vaccine, but I had no evidence to show her why.”

Meanwhile, a fully vaccinated teenage model has reportedly died of complications linked to Covid-19.

Valentina Boscardin Mendes, 18, contracted pneumonia and suffered a fatal thrombosis or blood clot on Jan. 9 after being admitted to a hospital in her native Sao Paulo in Brazil, reports say.

Valentina's mother, Marcia Boscardin, said her daughter had received the recommended two doses of the Pfizer Covid jab and had no underlying health problems.

Some 145,982 Americans with Covid-19 were hospitalized Tuesday, surpassing the previous record of more than 142,000 coronavirus hospitalizations in January 2021, according to data compiled by the Department of Health and Human Services.

People with Covid-19 occupy 20.7% of U.S. inpatient beds, and a total of 555,883 patients with and without Covid-19 are using up 77.8% of the nation’s hospital capacity.

Maryland — which declared a state of emergency due to soaring hospitalizations last week — has fewer spare hospital beds than any other state, with 86.1% of its total inpatient beds in use, followed by Washington (85%), Massachusetts (84.4%), Pennsylvania (84.4%), Minnesota (84%), Rhode Island (83.9%) and Georgia (83.8%).



Maryland also leads the nation in the share of total beds used for Covid-19, at 37.1%, followed by New York (29.9%), New Jersey (28.6%), Georgia (26.6%), Pennsylvania (26.5%), Ohio (26.5%), Connecticut (26.2%), Illinois (25.7%) and Delaware (25.5%).

Some intensive care units are also facing pressure: About 80.8% of nationwide ICU beds are in use, and ICUs are at more than 90% of capacity in Rhode Island (95.7%), Kentucky (90.9%), Texas (90.6%) and New Mexico (90.2%), an improvement from mid-September, when seven states were using up more than nine in 10 of their ICU beds.

Coronavirus patients are taking up 30.8% of total bed space in U.S. hospital ICUs, led by Maryland (44.2%), Rhode Island (42.4%) and Missouri (40.8%) — 12 states were above 40% in mid-September, with Idaho using 60.8% of its ICU beds for the coronavirus.

Many hospitals are also grappling with staffing shortfalls as personnel get sick with Covid-19, forcing healthcare facilities to slash capacity and cancel nonessential services. Almost 18% of hospitals nationwide told HHS they’re experiencing critical staffing shortages Tuesday, led by New Mexico (53.8%), Vermont (52.9%) and Rhode Island (50%).

Experts have blamed this new wave on the coronavirus’ fast-moving omicron variant, which can elude people’s immune defenses and undermine the effectiveness of vaccines. Researchers say omicron is likely less severe than earlier forms of the virus, raising hopes that ICUs could avoid a capacity crisis, but hospitalizations have still risen as infections soar. Child coronavirus hospitalizations have also jumped to their highest levels since the start of the pandemic in recent weeks, though hospitalization rates for adults and seniors remain significantly higher, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data. This spike could be due to low child vaccination rates and the omicron variant’s increased infectiousness. But it could also be caused by omicron’s tendency to infect the upper airways instead of the lungs since children are more likely than adults to suffer complications from upper respiratory problems. Plus, Dr. Anthony Fauci said at a White House briefing two weeks ago that “many children are hospitalized” for other reasons and just happen to also have Covid-19, “ as opposed to because of Covid.”
