A few weeks ago, Salvadorans received in their homes a blue box with the label "Outpatient treatment for COVID-19", which is part of a government health strategy to attend to people who by telephone alert that they have symptoms associated with the new coronavirus. The kit contains acetaminophen and acetylsalicylic acid (anti-inflammatory), loratadine (antiallergic), ivermectin (antiparasitic), azithromycin (antibiotic), vitamin C, vitamin D and zinc.
The same measure and with the same medicines has begun to be applied in its neighbor Guatemala and, since this weekend, Bolivia follows in its footsteps with the distribution of one hundred thousand kits to the homes of people with suspicions of COVID-19 who live in La Paz.
