Hospital CEOs are joining the Great Resignation

The number of departing hospital CEOs is on the rise as C-level executives are grappling with challenges tied to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Twelve hospital CEOs exited their roles in January, double the number who stepped down from their positions in the same month a year earlier, according to a report from Challenger, Gray & Christmas, an executive outplacement and coaching firm.

While some hospital and health system CEOs are retiring, others are stepping down from their posts into C-level roles at other organizations. At least eight hospital and health system CEOs have stepped down from their positions since mid-February.

The increase in CEO departures isn't unique to healthcare. More than 100 CEOs of U.S.-based companies left their posts in January, up from 89 in the same month a year earlier, according to the Challenger, Gray & Christmas report.

The uptick in executive exits shouldn't be surprising given the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, experts told NBC News. CEOs and other executives aren't immune to the pressures that are prompting people to leave their jobs.

"It's many factors — the burnout, the pandemic, the school closures, the need to take stock of life," Julia Pollack, chief economist at ZipRecruiter, told NBC News in January. "It's a whole wide range of shocks."

Kathy Hochul shows that up to half of patients you were told were hospitalized for COVID were actually there for another issue and THEN contracted COVID.

Now the Biden Administration is conveniently changing the way cases are counted, as reported in Politico and elsewhere. We know the real number that Biden is worried about: 41.1. That is the percentage of Americans who approve of his job performance, according to FiveThirtyEight.

Most people do not realize this, but a massive change in money and finance is underway, and at this point, is unstoppable. Russia invaded Ukraine, and the outcome was sanctions that shut off Russia from doing business in dollars. The Obama/Biden Administration was out to kill Russia financially, and it appears they have killed the dollar instead. Russia is demanding rubles for its energy, and that means less dollars needed. Other countries are shedding the dollar to do business with Russia, namely China and India. Those dollars are going to come home, and when you have a lot of something flooding, in the price goes down. In this case, the buying power of the dollar is going to continue to go down. Letting some oil out of America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve is a drop in the bucket, and it’s not going to reset gasoline or diesel fuel prices lower. Don’t expect anything to go back to the way or the price it was. Count on prices going higher, and I mean much higher.

The massive vote fraud story is not going away. It was simply too big and too many fraudulent ballots in too many states that happened on the night of November 3, 2020. The Democrats wanted this story to go away a year ago, but just the opposite is happening, even though FOX News and the rest of the corrupt media wants to ignore this massive constructional fraud against “We the People.” At CPAC, the battle cry was “move on.” Voter fraud should be President Trump’s top issue because it happened and is the reason why the country is in deep trouble with the Obama/Biden fraud Administration.

The massive inflation you are seeing everywhere is here to stay. Sanctions against Russia are here to stay. The Ukraine war is here to stay, and this inflation is not only here to stay, but will no doubt get worse, harming the poorest of the people in the world. Our leaders should be kicked out of office on both sides of the Atlantic because it is them who did this damage and NOT Russia, Russia, Russia.

EXCLUSIVE: NIH Provides Brief Fauci Job Description but Withholds All Contracts

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is withholding records related to Dr. Anthony Fauci’s employment, including all copies of his job contracts.

In response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for Fauci’s job descriptions and job contracts, the NIH provided a brief job description and a longer, outdated version. But the agency ignored the request for the contracts.

Karen Lampe, with the NIH’s Freedom of Information Office, has refused to acknowledge a failure to process the request properly. The NIH’s Office of the Director declined to provide a comment by deadline. Fauci and his agency didn’t return requests for comment.

“Dr. Fauci is untouchable, he’s protected, and essentially unreviewable even by his own employer, the National Institutes of Health,” Adam Andrzejewski, CEO and founder of OpenTheBooks.com, told The Epoch Times in an email. “The Fauci employment contract is so sensitive that the agency is violating FOIA statutes and using expensive taxpayer-funded litigation to withhold it from the American people.”

Andrzejewski’s group discovered that Fauci is the highest-paid government employee and uncovered some documentation as to why that is the case.

Fauci was appointed under Title 42 in 2000, enabling him to make more money, the NIH has confirmed.

Fauci was appointed as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the NIH, in 1984.

A document from 2004 showed Dr. Raynard Kington, at the time the agency’s deputy director, calling for the pay adjustment to be made permanent because Fauci “continues to be routinely sought by academia and private industry,” with offered compensation levels “well above his current salary of [redacted].”

OpenTheBooks.com and Judicial Watch are locked in litigation with the NIH over the agency’s slow-walking of Freedom of Information Act requests pertaining to Fauci, including for his job contracts. The NIH has agreed to produce 300 pages a month to the plaintiffs, but decided to produce the documents related to Fauci last. That production won’t start until November.

While the attempt to get Fauci’s contracts has not been successful, The Epoch Times did obtain a brief description of Fauci’s duties, which has been withheld from other parties. The 177-word description is the most recent NIAID director “function statement,” according to Gorka Garcia-Malene, another NIH freedom of information officer.

Also included in the response was an outdated job description, apparently from before 2000.

“You requested Dr. Anthony Fauci’s job contract(s) and job description(s). NIH has processed 5 pages related to Dr. Fauci’s current job description, consisting of the most recent director of NIAID duties statement and NIAID director functional statement. Please note that since 2000, Dr. Fauci is appointed under Title 42, where there is a ‘statement of duties’ versus a ‘position description,'” Garcia-Malene wrote.

“Unfortunately, NIH was unable to locate the statement of duties in place at the time Dr. Fauci was appointed. We were able to locate an older version of a position description and the most recent function statement for Director, NIAID and are releasing these records to you in full.”

According to the Department of Health and Human Services, the parent agency of the NIH, all appointments under Title 42 must include a statement of duties.

“It’s rather extraordinary that basic information about Fauci’s job duties are missing,” Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, told The Epoch Times.

“He’s the highest paid official in the government and we don’t know what his job duties are?”

In other words, your brother-in-law who watches CNN and still wears a mask while driving in his car alone will readily get vaccinated and become contagious. He will come to your house and infect you with the vaccine, not the virus. You will have to avoid vaccinated people to avoid being vaccinated.
