You have no idea how many times I told myself I was leaving the church when I read a headline stating crap like "Pope denies that he accountable to Christ," only to find the actual statements were the exact opposite. And when you take into consideration that the pediphile priest problem mainly occurred in the 70s and 80s, is equivelent to other demnominations, behind the abuse of public schools and far behind the abuse from Rabbis, you have to ask: why does this keep popping up in the media? I'm a Catholic. I'm NOT a fan of a many Popes-- They're mostly politicians, but I have never seen any other leader who's words are so taken out of context for an agenda on such a regular bases. It's why I am sometimes a bit forceful in my defense, because I see who hates her so much.
