Re: Reporter Who Ended Gen. McChrystal's Career Dies in Car Accident?
I think the tank that they point out lying there is probably something to do with exhaust, maybe a cross flow system or something. It might be an oil tank if it's a dry sump or it could be an auxillary. I think it's more to do with exhaust because it looks like it has some > 1" inlets/holes on it. Too large for fuel lines, unless it's the filler hose I guess.
Still based on the news story and some of those photos, the car looks like it came to a rolling stop after the motor was blown out of it. It looks like the chassis was bent in the 'splosion.

How's this for a theory? Someone wired his Mercedes for sound, had him GPS'ed continuously, spooked him and got him to run.

Then once they had him moving at the velocity they needed, and had gotten him to position himself where they wanted him, remotely they could do him.
Re: Reporter Who Ended Gen. McChrystal's Career Dies in Car Accident?
Yeah, was thinking that too.
But gee, when trying to lose someone who's tailing you. Be sure not to go so fast so that when you hit a tree you launch your car's engine 30 yards.
It would be interesting to see the stretch of road and skid marks before hitting the tree.

Did anyone notice the "izzy" washing away the evidence already by the time the cop got there???

"McChrystal was also criticized for his role in the aftermath of the 2004 death by friendly fire of Ranger and former professional football player Pat Tillman. Within a day of Tillman's death, McChrystal was notified that Tillman was a victim of friendly fire. Shortly thereafter, McChrystal was put in charge of paperwork to award Tillman a posthumous Silver Star for valor. On April 28, 2004, six days after Tillman's death, McChrystal approved a final draft of the Silver Star recommendation and submitted it to the acting Secretary of the Army, even though the medal recommendation deliberately omitted any mention of friendly fire, included the phrase "in the line of devastating enemy fire", and was accompanied by fabricated witness statements. On April 29, McChrystal sent an urgent memo warning White House speechwriters not to quote the medal recommendation in any statements they wrote for President Bush because it "might cause public embarrassment if the circumstances of Corporal Tillman's death become public." McChrystal was one of the first to caution restraint in public statements, until the investigation was complete.[27] McChrystal was one of eight officers recommended for discipline by a subsequent Pentagon investigation but the Army declined to take action against him."
McChrystal was one of the guys involved in the Pat Tillman cover-up.
McChrystal headed JSOC - the head guy, in Special Ops.
therefore McChrystal has supervised the killing of lots of civilians. of course the US calls them 'enemy combatants' for defending their own homeland.
as far as i can tell, McChrystal is a "Shabbas Goyim Royale" -

not Jewish, but he has served the Jews & Israel his entire career. starting in the mid-70's, when the US was not involved in many wars. then was involved in Desert Storm 1 in the early 90's, and was a 'seasoned vet' by the time Gulf War 2 came along.
however i have no idea -yet - what happened in the car crash.

In an email sent hours before his death in a single-car L.A. crash, journalist Michael Hastings wrote that his “close friends and associates” were being interviewed by the FBI and he was going to “go off the radar for a bit.”
According to the email, sent to KTLA, Hastings wrote he was working on a “big story” and was going to disappear. He told his colleagues that if the FBI came to interview them, they should have legal counsel present.

Also, his email said nothing about the FBI, it said "the feds". So FBI denying an investigation may be true, and so might be the email.

The sole reason not to purchase a recently produced automobile.
