I do not know why Bryan Mercier, the show host of Catholic Truth channel, did not give the name of the guest who apparently is someone with knowledge of canon law, but I have the impression that the omission was deliberate.
I still do not now know the name of the guest.
This was the first video I have seen from Catholic Truth that touches on the topic of schism and "sedevacantism."

I post this video not to imply support for any position or any group. It is heartbreaking that there is so much division in the church. It seems to me the takeover of the Vatican and the externals of the Church very much parallels what happened when Joe Biden and his controllers took over the office of the president of the United States. Joe Biden is not the duly elected president of the United States but he is operating in false veneer of the office.

Only our Lord can solve this seeming irreconcilable condition of the Church.

The SSPX are in Schism? (Is SSPX Really in Communion with Rome?) The answer is no, they are not in communion with Rome and we cannot attend their chapels in good conscience. As one Canon Lawyer says, everything they do is illegal. The SSPX are in Schism, not formal schism but material schism. Thus their Mass is invalid and illegal and we cannot attend.

Cardinal Burke says in regard to their schism: "The fact of the matter is that the Priestly Society of St. Pius X is in schism since the late Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre ordained four bishops without the mandate of the Roman Pontiff. And so it is not legitimate to attend Mass or to receive the sacraments in a church that's under the direction of the Priestly Society of St. Pius X."

Also: "The canonical excommunication of the bishops for their illegal ordinations was revoked, but a de facto sacramental excommunication remains for their schism; they put themselves out of communion with the Church. After that we are not closing the door and never will, but we are inviting them to be reconciled. But they too must change their attitude, accept the conditions of the Catholic Church, and the Supreme Pontiff as the definitive criterion for membership.

NOTE ON SCHISM: Canon law makes a clear distinction between formal schism accompanied by an official pronouncement from the Holy See) and the material schism. This latter schism is manifested in a word and action. It is this material schism that Cardinal Burke is referring to.

What I don’t understand is why go to sspx if you can go to fssp or a Latin Mass church that falls under a diocese. And if sspx is the only latin Mass near you, but there are questions about their standing, why risk it. God wants humility and obedience. So for all those sspx folks, would you not go to mass at all if the only mass available was norvus ordo? Or would you go to the NO and be so filled with spiritual pride that the whole focus would be on what everyone else is doing instead of giving your whole heart and soul to God. I say this because it is an easy trap to fall into.

They are not the problem, but they are a problem. Similar to Anglicans, Orthodox, and Sedevecantists, who claims that the Pope is wrong and the world wide Catholic Church is wrong except their sect, that's a huge problem. There are problems in the Church for sure, but fighting from the outside and against the same Church doesn't help things. SSPX could be a force from good from within the church, and we pray for that.

That is a private Revelation First of all, and no Catholic has to believe in it or listen to it according to the church. Second of all, you are interpreting it your own way. Third, you have no right to resist the Pope. That is the church's job. We are obligated to follow the magisterium of the church, not rejecting entire counsel or reject what we personally think the hope is wrong on. So many people say the Pope, or some say the last five popes have promulgated errors, and yet all these people contradict each other on just what those errors are because it's all their personal opinions. That's what leads to sspx, orthodox, sedevecantists, etc.
