Joel Davis, who helped found Youth to End Sexual Violence and was chairman of the International Campaign to Stop Rape and Gender Violence in Conflict, was arrested Tuesday in Manhattan on charges of enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity, attempted sexual exploitation of a minor, and possession, receipt and distribution of child pornography.
Davis reportedly exchanged text messages with undercover law enforcement officers for several weeks in June, in which he stated that he was sexually interested in children of all ages (“0+”) and sent the officers sexually explicit photographs of infants and toddlers, including photographs in which they were engaged in sexual activity with adults. He also discussed his intention to engage in sexual activity with the nine-year-old daughter of the undercover officer and with the purported two-year-old daughter of the undercover officer’s girlfriend.

In a study published in 2013, Bid studied a sample of 111 parents who had been separated from 200 children over a three-year period. The average period of detention had been 270 days.
Almost half the 200 children were placed in foster or local authority care during their parent’s detention. In 92 cases, the parent was eventually released. In 15 cases, however, the parent was deported or removed from the UK without their child.
In follow-up research in 2014, Bid studied a sample of 47 immigration detainees, and found that 11 were removed or deported without their children.
The charity stresses that it cannot be sure of the total numbers of parents and children who are being separated in this way each year. The Home Office did not provide a statement or respond to requests for information about the numbers.

In November 2016 I travelled to the United States to meet and interview Peter Hyatt. Peter is a highly respected expert in statement analysis and in his work he teaches other professionals and assists law enforcement on criminal cases. When we speak, the process of constructing sentences in our mind involves deciding which tense to use, which words to select from our vocabulary and what order to put them in. This mental process all happens in a fraction of a second. If somebody is constructing sentences from their experiential memory, ie, recalling something real that actually happened to them, the process of word selection follows particular patterns and characteristics, which can be easily identified by a trained statement analyst. If however a person is fabricating and being untruthful when they speak, the natural cognitive process of choosing and ordering words is interrupted, because the mind must censor and insert artificial information in a very short time period. This means the language of somebody who is fabricating is characteristically different and can be picked up by a trained analyst like Peter Hyatt. He has analysed in depth an interview that Kate and Gerry McCann gave in 2011 and throughout the entire interview both Kate and Gerry it appears show signs of deception. Not only that, Peter determines from their language what he believes to be what it is they are concealing. The conclusions are shocking.

In a disturbing attempt to normalize pedophilia as a mainstream “sexual orientation,” pedophiles are rebranding themselves as “Minor Attracted Persons,” with the hope that they will be accepted as part of the LGBT community.
A website has been established called “The Prevention Project,” which sports the tagline “Everyone deserves support,” and attempts to push two disgusting ideas—that there are different classes of “pedophiles” for different ages of children that should be accepted by society, and that “non-offending pedophiles” should be praised for the fact that they have yet to molest a child.
The Prevention Project defines a “pedophile” as an adult who is attracted to pre-pubescent children, and claims that there are different classes of “pedophiles,” based on the age of the child, which include infantophiles (pedophiles who are attracted only to infants), hebephiles (pedophiles who are attracted to pubescent children), and ephebophiles (pedophiles who are attracted to post-pubescent children).
The website then went on to argue that in the case of the fictional character “John,” his sexual attraction to children, aged 6-12, was justified because he had yet to harm a child or to act on his sickening desires, and anyone who believed John was in the wrong was simply influenced by “religious beliefs.” The Prevention Project stated:
First, let’s be clear. “John” is actually not a child molester nor is he a sex offender. The term “sex offender” is a legal construct that one receives as the result of being found guilty and sentenced in the criminal justice system for sexually abusing someone. Instead, “John” has an attraction to children and he wants help to ensure he is safe in society. He is also committed to preventing child sexual abuse by speaking out against it and by showing his support of global child sexual abuse prevention programs on his social media. Why would “John” not deserve support via therapy? After all, isolation and depression are known to increase one’s risk of doing something they might regret.Launching into a conversation on NOMAPs or “Non-Offending Minor-Attracted Persons,” the Prevention Project argued that individuals should feel safe sharing their sexual attraction to children without being worried about the recourse from individuals in society because “research also indicates that someone can be attracted to a child without inevitably sexually abusing them.”
While the website does not cite this “research” it claims to quote, it does provide a link to the blog of a man writing under the name “Ender Wiggins,” who claims that he is a “non-offending, anti-contact pedophile.” He argues that pedophiles should be treated the same as members of the LGBT community and that pedophilia should be accepted as an additional sexual orientation.
“Most people these days are very sympathetic with the struggles of young homosexual teens, and luckily in a lot of environments, they receive the acceptance and support that they need and they have plenty of role models that have led the way in past rougher times to look up to. That is hardly the case for young boys and girls who discover—typically in horror—that they’re sexually attracted to younger children,” Wiggins wrote.
He claimed that many pedophiles realize their sexual desires when they are children and that “the process of discovery is pretty much the same as with any other sexual orientation — including heterosexuality.”
The one thing that is not addressed by either the Prevention Project or by this author who claims to be a “Non-Offending” pedophile, is the issue of consent. When a boy is going through puberty and he realizes that he is sexually attracted to girls, consent is still required for him to initiate any type of sexual contact. The same goes for boys who are sexually attracted to boys, or girls who are sexually attracted to girls.
However, when an adult is sexually attracted to an infant or a child, he or she is admitting attraction to an individual who does not have the ability to consent—thus why the concept is deemed wrong in society. If a child is molested or raped, it results in long-term physical, emotional and mental problems that will go on to affect the child for the rest of his or her life.
In a left-wing op-ed for The Independent, one therapist noted that “many pedophiles do not accept that there’s anything wrong with having sex with a six-year-old,” and that even when she read statements from the victims that detailed “the terror, the free-floating anxiety, the years of bed wetting, the suicide attempts, an inability to trust adults and have any intimate relationships,” to the pedophiles who were responsible for the abuse, they were “unmoved” and continued to justify their horrific actions.
The idea that these monstrous individuals, who ruin the lives of children for the sake of temporary gratification, and then find nothing wrong with their actions, would ever be accepted by society may sound absurd now. But the process of desensitization starts by attempting to normalize the individuals who have not yet committed the heinous acts—yet they still fantasize about it and openly promote their desires—by claiming that their sick disorder should be accepted as a form of sexual orientation.

Arbraugh was arrested last year after telling a counselor that he had sexual contact with Haitian kids. According to a federal affidavit filed by a special agent with Homeland Security, he groomed or had sexual contact with at least 21 Haitian boys.
He pleaded guilty earlier this year in federal court to one count of traveling in foreign commerce from the United States to Haiti to engage in sexual conduct with children.

Jerry Smith, a bond manager at RBC Financial in Minneapolis, was a few hours into a busy morning on the trading desk when he took the most important call of the day.
On the line was Andy Weisenborn, who had worked with Smith to send medical supplies to Haiti after the earthquake 15 months ago. He told Smith, a veteran pilot, that he was needed immediately.
So began the latest of two dozen humanitarian flights Smith has made to Haiti on his own nickel.
"Good luck and Godspeed," Smith's boss in New York told him March 15, as colleagues in Minneapolis shook hands and said they'd cover for him.
"I was wheels up at 2 p.m.," said Smith, who owns a six-seat, single-engine Piper Malibu.
Smith, 56, a onetime Air Force mechanic who became a six-figure, mortgage-backed securities trader, is one of the thousands of Twin Cities business volunteers who lend a hand or write a check regularly to help others.
His roundtrip flights between Minnesota and Haiti have carried engineers, doctors and others volunteering their time for nonprofits, as well as thousands of pounds of artificial limbs, medical and other supplies.
An immediate need
The mission in mid-March catapulted him into a human rights case.
He flew to Haiti to extract Danny Pye, who with his wife, Leanne, have run orphanages and helped coordinate relief in Jacmel, a town in southern Haiti. Danny Pye had been thrown in jail last year by a Haitian judge on what Pye's supporters contend are trumped-up accusations of financial wrongdoing.
With encouragement of the U.S. Embassy in Haiti, another judge released Pye on St. Patrick's Day. It was a relief to the once-burly Irishman, who had dropped 70 pounds living mostly on water and a flour paste for more than five months in a cramped cell with other prisoners.
Danny Pye left the island in Smith's plane, landing in Florida, where Leanne had traveled a couple of weeks earlier. The next day she gave birth to their second child, a boy.
"Danny Pye is not a criminal," Smith said.

According to official statistics, Haitian child sex trafficking “exploded” after the 2010 earthquake. More than 7300 children were smuggled into Dominican Republic in the 10 months following the earthquake compared to 950 children trafficked the previous year.
Undoubtedly, the earthquake provided an opportunity for predators to infiltrate the country disguised as relief agents, peacekeepers, and missionaries.
In April 2017 it was found that the United Nations was operating a sex ring with more than 300 child victims. The United Nations had appointed Bill Clinton as Special Envoy to Haiti about 6 months before the Earthquake happened. Many victims experienced sex abuse at the hands of UN peacekeepers while he was the envoy.

A St. Louis Park rabbi was one of several people arrested during an underage sex sting operation held in the days leading up to the Super Bowl, authorities say.
Aryeh Leiv Cohen, 44, was arrested on Feb. 1 after engaging with undercover agents who were posing as a 16-year-old boy on the social networking app Grindr. He was charged Tuesday with two felony counts in Ramsey County District Court.
Cohen, a rabbi and director of youth outreach at Minneapolis Community Kollel, a Jewish learning center based in St. Louis Park, began a conversation with the undercover agent on the app Jan. 24, according to a court filing. The agent mentioned several times he was 16 years old, with Cohen replying, “It’s a little illegal ...” and describing sexual acts.
The agent arranged a meetup in a North St. Paul apartment building Feb. 1. Cohen was arrested by authorities in the parking lot after arriving, according to the filing.
While being taken to police headquarters, Cohen said “I sort of deserve it,” the complaint said. He later admitted to using his Grindr account to discuss sexual activity with an underage male.
Cohen’s arrest was part of a multiday sting by the Minnesota Human Trafficking Investigators Task Force, with assistance from the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and North St. Paul police, to combat the online solicitation of and sexual exploitation of children. The operation included posting online ads of young men and women seeking companionship and responding to ads on websites known to seek illicit sexual relationships.
Dozens were arrested in the sting, the BCA said back in February.
Cohen is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 19.
