Precisely why I place my authority outside of any man.

Yes, I have noticed some awakening among the masses. The problem is, as others have said, is that they only seem to be waking up to very certain things within their sphere of interest. People who travel see that civil liberties are being destroyed, people interested in finance see that the banking system is a scam, people with serious illnesses are aware that the medical industrial complex is scewing them for profit and making them sicker, etc. Most of these people fail to go further however, and are all over the place in their thinking as to why these things are going on. It frustrates me to no end because almost everything is literally at their finger tips, but they just don't care enough or are too ingorant to dig deeper. The only reason why they are begining to wake up is because it's becoming outrageously blatant. I mean does it really take someone in a uniform grabbing your child's penis at the airport to get the point across? I guess so.
Any level of awareness is good though, and they are taking baby steps. Some speak of a mass consciousness shift at the end of 2012 and I agree with this. It's seems as though it will happen one way or another, as some form of societal collapse will happen one way or another.
venturing into the greater realization - realizing the extent & source (largely, Talmudic Jews) of the corruption in American business & government - is very stressful for most humans.
to make the jump from the notion that the corruption is localized - so that it can be fixed more easily - to realizing the depth & breadth of the corruption - that's a big jump.
on the other hand, most people have witnessed local corruption, and they have witnessed systemic corruption - e.g. 9-11.
it is less stressful for some raised/indoctrinated into American education to continue believing that the corruption is not systemic, not related to Jews.
i wonder if for some - G-S.us members, for example - it works out to be less stressful to acknowledge the systemic deep, broad corruption. the realizations that got us there may be as pleasant as being skinned alive. but once we're there - it's hard to go back.
i think part of the switch is related to how much of our identity we draw from the American GroupThink, where conspiracy theories are a target of derision. once you are perceiving clearly in the Land of Conspiracy Fact, well, Hell's Bells, that's way better than eating the Cheerio's of Group Delusion that is consumed so widely in America. especially on the subject of Israel.
Most people believe that it's not possible for large amounts of people to be fooled at the same time. They think 'this conspiracy couldn't possibly be this big because it's not possible for so many people to be fooled'. They also believe that the conspiracy couldn't possibly be as old as it is, or someone would have discovered it by now.

I think it's a good point made here that we may be seeing some "localized" awakening at first, where people only see what's impacting them directly. But I also think a "merging" of this sentiment is occurring, and will continue.
One example of a more "broad" awakening is the cynicism about partisan politics. I see a lot more people coming to the conclusion that both parties are at fault, so that party allegiance is going away. That's a good thing. Here in Massachusetts, which as you all know is a super-blue state, more than half of all voters are registered as "unenrolled" in either party, i.e. the so-called "Independents". The real partisan component of Massachusetts is the entrenched ruling political class, which survives by catering to the larger cities and to academia, since we have such a broad college and university system. Most of the "regular" people here aren't nearly as liberal as our reputation, and that's where I see an awakening going on.
I just wrote a book, that disapeared. Sigh...
Two weeks ago, I was invited to a nieghborhood potluck where nieghborhood preps and self sustainablity were discussed. Prep and first aid lists were handed out, plans were made. The nieghbor with the biggest house offered up his pad as the go to house. It was made clear to all who attended that you were either in or out.
They talked about different tiers of emergency. Government collapse, solar flares and cataclsmic occurences.
I've lived here for quite a while and figured these people to be sheep. I kept my cards very close to my chest. Ther's another meeting in a couple of weeks, and I'll have moved 15 minutes away by then, but I'm going to go.
I saw this on another forum I frequent today in a thread about banking fees.
"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes her laws."
Mayer Amschel Rothschild
we need too look closley at who really controls the banks!!!
Maybe some ofthe seeds I've been planting over there are starting to grow.:D
I also spent a few minutes last night browsing through comments on yet another online article about how Iran is set to attack the US soon.
I was surprised to see a bunch of comments fingering Israel as the real bad guys in the middle east. Gave me chills. Those comments also had high ratings.
