Re: Bill Murphy "$100 silver very very soon"
Silver is a lousy investment. For instance, way back in 2006, that's six freaking years ago, I bought a boatload(sunk) of silver at $10 an ounce. A little less actually, but I'm rounding it off. Anyway, after six years I basically made a 3 bagger. I tripled my investment. Not bad. I didn't lose... except that I took $$$ out of commission and sat on it. That same money that I could have used buying and selling items, lots of items on the used market under the table and would have made 1000 times what the silver investment brought. I could have made a 3 bagger in one week with that same money spent properly.

It seem someone/group has a sizable derivatives bet out on the future POS/G being the same or lower than it is now.
One would think they could easily look up who is holding these derivative bets, analyze the trends, and either investigate what is really going on there...i.e who owns what, and their affiliates.

Ah yes, the hindsight investment llc fund always comes out on top.

I personally invite a drop in price. "I have too much gold and silver" is a phrase you'll never hear at my house.

You are serious? Can you provide some examples of investment that beat silver appreciation, without the benefit of hindset?

It's not about examples of better investments, we want action, now.
I bought some silver eagles for $12 per coin, back in 08. Now, 4 years later, they are only worth maybe $36 a coin. A measly 3 times that I bought them for, in 4 years! 4 years!
What a dog. Silver sucks. Tell everyone to avoid it. I'll do my best to help others, by taking the dog off their hands. They should buy bonds.
Re: Bill Murphy "$100 silver very very soon"
What's interesting is that silver and gold could break their peak prices more in sync this next time around. I was thinking about this in the context of all the financial analysts who declared that gold's bubble had burst at the $1900 level. What will they say this time around? Who will have the nerve to doubt the resilient strength of gold above $2000 and silver above $50?

Legal investments?
Re: Bill Murphy "$100 silver very very soon"
I was looking around for something that was posted in the past and came across this old thread from 2012 and silver hitting $100. It's taken awhile but it's happening. The comments are interesting when you see what's happening now so I thought I'd bump this thread. Lots of people commenting that are no longer here.

Silver Art was the better predictor imo.
