Re: 150 Militia Take Over Makhuer National Wildlife Preserve Headquarters
I am wondering what was the justification for stopping that crew-cab (driven by Lavoy Finicum) in the first place. Was it being driven recklessly? Was there a warrant out and the police had reason to believe one of the occupants was named in the warrant? Can ordinary motorists be expected to be stopped (pulled over) for no good reason?
The driver, and the passengers, could see they had come upon a trap, set by impostor lawmen (not the local sheriff), and they were being accosted as if one or more occupants in the vehicle were dangerous felons.
I am waiting for someone representing the folks in that vehicle to demand an absolute rational for stopping that vehicle in the first place. For setting up a roadblock, as if a dangerous criminal had escaped a local prison and they were conducting a manhunt. Without that, this should have been viewed as a normal collection of blameless americans heading to some destination on the Oregon highways. Is it no longer safe to go from here to there in a car anymore?
I can imagine how frustrating it was to the driver to see that these outsiders had set up a trap, and had pulled him over FOR NO GOOD REASON. It was obvious to him that these were little more than road bandits, and, absent their local sheriff to provide any legality to this roadblock, he panicked and speed off. I can't bring myself to criticize that action under those circumstances. Why couldn't those jerks have simply had the sheriff there to confront the inhabitants in that vehicle with whatever rational he had to require them to stop and exit the vehicle?
Based on what is being offered up for public viewing, so far, this was out-and-out premeditated murder. The feds will never allow an honest and impartial investigation as to THIER conduct and their guilt in this needless murder of a law-abiding man.
What was the legal basis for interrupting Lavoy Finicum as he went peacefully on his way over the Oregon highways?

BURNS, OR (KPTV) - Ammon Bundy, the leader of an armed group that has occupied the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge since Jan. 2, was taken into police custody in a confrontation with law enforcement that left one person dead. The FBI and Oregon State Police began an enforcement operation at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 395 that led to shots fired and the arrests of multiple people involved in the weeks-long standoff.
Investigators did not immediately reveal who shot first, but police said one person who had a federal probable cause arrest warrant was killed. That person has not been identified by police, however CNN, citing a law enforcement official, reported that the person killed was LaVoy Finicum. Finicum had acted as a spokesman for the group during press conferences, once telling the FBI to, "quit acting as militia and stirring up fear." Another person was taken to the hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening. No officers were injured.
Police said seven people were arrested and face felony federal charges of conspiracy to impede officers of the United States from discharging their official duties through the use of force, intimidation or threats, in violation of Title 18, United State Code, Section 372. They were identified Tuesday as Bundy, 40, of Emmett, Idaho; Ryan C. Bundy, 43, of Bunkerville, Nevada; Brian Cavalier, 44, of Bunkerville, Nevada; Shawna Cox, 59, of Kanab, Utah; Ryan Waylen Payne, 32, of Anaconda, Montana; Joseph Donald O'Shaughnessy, 45, of Cottonwood, Arizona.

Isho;
Greek: Ἰησοῦς,
Arabic: يوشع بن نون
Yūshaʿ ibn Nūn;
Latin:

Turkish:

Torah, being one of the
spies for Israel (Num 13–14) and identified in several passages as Moses' assistant.
[3] He is the central figure in the
Hebrew Bible's
Book of Joshua. According to the books of
Exodus,
Numbers and
Joshua, he became the leader of the
Israelite tribes after the death of
Moses. His name was
Hoshe'a (הוֹשֵׁעַ) the son of
Nun, of the
tribe of Ephraim, but Moses called him
Yehoshu'a (יְהוֹשֻעַ; Joshua in English) (
Numbers 13:16) the name by which he is commonly known. The name is shortened to Yeshua in Nehemiah (
Nehemiah 8:17). According to the Bible he was born in
Egypt prior to
the Exodus.
[2]
He was one of the twelve spies of Israel sent by Moses to explore the land of Canaan. (
Numbers 13:1-16) After the death of Moses, he led the Israelite tribes in the conquest of Canaan, and allocated the land to the tribes. According to
Biblical chronology, Joshua lived between 1355-1245 BCE,
[4] or sometime in the late
Bronze Age. According to
Joshua 24:29, Joshua died at the age of 110. Joshua also holds a position of respect among Muslims. According to Islamic tradition, he was, along with
Caleb,
one of the two believing spies whom Moses had sent to spy the land of Canaan.
[5] All
Muslims also see Joshua as the leader of the
Israelites, following the death of Moses. Some Muslims also believe Joshua to be the "attendant" of Moses mentioned in the
Qur’ān, before Moses meets
Khidr and some believe that he is a prophet.

Clearly murdered at close range.
Cop in front was maintaing 45 degree positioning so killer's shot from behind wouldn't penetrate and hit him.
You can see the accomplices hiding behind their vehicles, sort of running for cover before the executioner takes his shot
This was coordinated, no doubt premeditated.
If they flash grenaded the truck, I'm sure it was to provoke the others into fighting or maybe kill them where they sat.
Regardless if he was reaching for a gun, or not doesn't matter. If he APPEARS to be reaching for a gun the cops will shoot. It looks like the cops thought he was reaching for a gun and took the shot before he supposedly could get one shot off. The guy who shot him from behind probably is a hero in the government circles now.

There's a time to fight and a time to hide.
These guys fought when they had no support, so the ending was tragedy.
The original Bundy standoff was successful since it had a lot of moral grounds and support.
Now everything that was fought for at the Bundy ranch in Nevada will be undone since these guys have a hard-on with their own legends.
If you're going to go up against the Feds by yourself, you're a fucking idiot, you'll be remembered for being an idiot, and you'll be shot down in a pool of your own blood.
Me and Jewboo want freedom as much as you do. We just understand STRATEGY, and not throwing yourself out to be the lone hero like in the movies and video games. I get it, you're in love with a Romantic notion of saving the day with Muh Guns. That's how you get killed and remembered as a failure. It's also how you GIVE the government credibility.
If most of the militia people in the US don't support these guys, it's obvious they were doomed from the start. They literally supported a group that DIDN'T want them. Even the Oregon militia wanted nothing to do with this.
