You need an app, to get to that article, to get the app, you need to give your e-mail address, and at least 5 favorite shares of your portfolio, and probably more, I stopped and deleted the app after that. Is there any way you could share your information on this forum, without demanding we give up private information?
Neuro, your post prompted me to open the ...alpha link coz I've recently been limited to a mobile. I see what u mean re the gateway to their insisting you install their "free app", with its self purported 11K+ reviews averaging 4.5 stars.
In my short few short weeks with dinjoogle's android spy OS I'm already leery of all the "free apps"; which demand "permission/access" to a bunch of ur phone's private functions/files which the FREE!!:D app's advertised function merits it no biz accessing. :(
One app I tried did its advertised function ok but the "unadvertised extra" was, every few screen changes it threw up a full screen consuming ad... presumably for something its growing spy dossier on my profile suggested i'd like... who knows; my eyes juzt zipped over its product payload as fast as it took to to find where they hid the way-undersized X-out button this time. Yes they actually MOVED which corner where they hid the tiny 1x1-pixel X-out button, from annoying ad disruption to disruption. And once you find its latest hiding-pixel, don't accidentally fat-finger your attempt to X it out & instead tap its neighboring pixel, or else away your browser would go loading their spamvertised page!
What bull; needless to say that "FREE app!" with its impressive positive reviews (guessing astroturfed...) made a fast bee line to the bit bucket.
So I view ...alpha's coerced spy app installation "biz model" as sleazy from the word GO; f'em.
What's their angle for windoz/mac ludites who try to gain that oh so coveted access to their writers' bloviations about which way the markets may or may not move?
I'm waiting to see the lithium bullion and coins... Umm..., keep them away from water.

I bought these element cubes off Provident metals and my friend made me a stand for them.
I probably should have taken a picture of the stand. It's pretty cool.

yes I don't think lithium is something you want to hold, but in the rarer minerals sector it's a hot investment proposition right now, compared to platinum.... according to the stuff being promoted in the news down here at the moment.
Stealthily it is creeping up...

So why did Pd shit the bead earlier this week?
+$27 today. Pd is about to overtake Pt! Now $874 vs $937
little spike to $901 overnight (kitco's stated high), :|~

Is this an all time high? I need to dig up an "all data" chart. Kitco's site is so loaded up with obnoxious little ad gadgets, yesterday a couple open kitco tabs caused my firefox to become unresponsive and needed to kill it in task manager! :( anyways, below charts are "live",
edit- kitco's chart since 1992:
http://www.kitco.com/LFgif/pd92-pres.gif
looks like a climactic spike to ~$1,100 around the top of Y2K.
anyone pay attention to what the backstory to that run was?
Here's Pd's cousin Pt, same time range,
http://www.kitco.com/LFgif/pt92-pres.gif
virtually no resemblance! dances to a different drummer!
Nuclear war preps is apparently good for Pd!
I guess I didn't comment on it that day, but right around ~2 weeks ago, IE near my last Sept 4 post above, Pt & Pt kissed... somewhat, right at the $1000 mark. Sort of a non-contact kiss though; Pd's intraday ask price briefly touched 1001 or 1002, and within a few hours either way (don't recall now), Pt's bid price touched down at ~1000.xx.
I'll declare, just for shiggles; Pt/Pd will have "officially changed guards", when the COMEX-close Pd bid price, exceeds the Pt ask price.:)*#*
Pd- nice $1005/ozt
They could re-reformulate back to Pt for catalysts. I think Pt is more efficient, but when cost is 2x, Pd is better. I am not sure what the exact break even point is. That may mean it is a good time to trade over or trade to silver (or $$). I need to think about this.
Here is a good post:

Your question you ask may not be correct as modern catalysts are mostly bimetallics. Also In general we have to distinguish between diesel and gasoline engines.
The role of Pt in catalytic converters is to oxidise carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons. Pt is particularly effective at this under oxygen-excessive conditions, so is often the metal of choice for diesel applications. With development, modern Diesel oxidation catalysts are most often bimetallic Pt-Pd based.
For gasoline powered vehicles (where there is a balance between reductants and oxidants in the exhaust gas), Pt and Pd can be equally effective. The three-way catalyst used for gasoline powered vehicles must also be able to reduce NOx to nitrogen as well as oxidise CO and hydrocarbons – that is why Rh is generally used in addition to Pt or Pd.
Historically most gasoline engine catalyst formulations included Pt/Rh as the active component. While catalysts may be trimetallic (Pt/Pd/Rh), they are now mostly Pd/Rh in composition with this choice often made on the basis of relative cheaper cost of Pd over Pt.
I attach a couple of short articles from Platinum Metals Review which expand upon my answer.

The bimetallic catalyst is an urban legend! The Pt is in lower ratio due to its cost, but it will always exist. A lot of papers talk about a ratio Pd/Pt/Rh of 5/1/1, but recent finds have gone as far as 9/1/1. Have a look at some papers:

Platinum is suffering from the advanced condition of Bitcoinitis circa 2033.
I bought around April 2008, at $250/oz, just had bottomed out at $200 a few months before, but my premium was around $30/ oz if I remember correctly. I guess at this point there is two options either it will be a cup and handle formation and in which case the handle will probably take several years (3-5 is my guess), before it reaches new heights or it will rocket on Now to maybe 3-5k, before running out of fuel. I’ll hold out for the crazy, with my 1.5 oz of Pd strip!
Different identity. Just can't risk it. :o
I looked at the site earlier, been a long time. The only silver shown on the site is custom minted, the silver shells, the silver dice, the silver balls, and engravable bars. If he is selling generic silver rounds, I couldn't find it.
I had bought the silver balls, the brass balls, silver dice, and some of the silver shells as gifts. I ordered 4 weeks before Christmas and had them within 2 weeks. I do know that other LCSs bought the silver shells for resale in store. They might be popular.
That’s right I misread the chart it was $250 @ April 2009, and that is when I bought it not April 2008... perfect timing
On the other hand if you had bought $200 worth of Troncoin (TRX) 1 month ago. You’ld Have close to $20k today. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tron/
$1,127 ask, +3.81% :o
Palladium is again over Platinum.
