Excellent point! Gold is virtually unowned by Americans. The price is being driven by international, mainly middle eastern and asian buying, despite Americans having the highest per capita incomes in the world. Imagine what the gold price will do when a few more westerners wake up.

Yep, that's O'side pier in North County San Diego. Surf looks pretty good too, and with almost no one out.

I used to live near that area. For the record, all the "nerds" like myself never would hang out at the beach. Most intelligent people stay home on their computers and don't leave.
