Now Congress has called the ATF an "Accessory to Murder."
U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) said that Obama officials responsible for Operation Fast and Furious might be "ACCESSORIES TO MURDER."
Rep. Gosar explained: "We're talking about consequences of criminal activity, where we actually allowed guns to walk into the hands of criminals, where our livelihoods are at risk. When you facilitate that and a murder or a felony occurs, you're called an accessory. That means there is criminal activity."
Yes, the government, specifically Attorney General Eric Holder, must be held to the same standards as everyone else.
Fast and Furious guns were used to kill U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, in addition to HUNDREDS of Mexicans. Holder must be held accountable. In fact, he must RESIGN!
Gosar continued to say: "We impugn the private sector, we impugn main street America, and the bureaucracy cannot be held to any different standard whatsoever. He insists that DOJ and ATF officials "INTENTIONALLY VIOLATED THE LAW!"
The Arizona Congressman explained that the Obama administration was "showing an intentional, wanton disregard for the law" and that "there's got to be consequences for that. Leadership has a price!"

We have been warning you for the past several months that Attorney General Eric Holder KNEW all about the Operation Fast and Furious, despite his denials.
Now the "damaging" documents have been released that will show that Eric Holder perjured himself, by LYING TO CONGRESS!
New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder lied to Congress. He was sent briefings on the Fast and Furious venture as far back as JULY, 2010! That directly disputes his May 3, 2011 statement to the Congressional Judiciary Committee investigation, when he said: "I'm not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks."
U.S. Senator John McCain quipped: "What part of 'when did you first know about the program...?' did Holder not understand?"
A Special Prosecutor is being named to determine whether Eric Holder lied during his testimony about the botched gun-trafficking operation.

Here are the latest revelations that demand that Eric Holder resign:
- Michael Walther, Director of the National Drug Intelligence Center, IN A JULY 2010 MEMO, told Eric Holder that straw buyers in the Operation Fast and Furious case "are responsible for the purchase of 1,500 (actually, over 2,000!) firearms that were then supplied to the Mexican drug trafficking cartels."
- Lanny Breuer, Holder's chief of the DOJ Criminal Division, ON OCTOBER 18, 2010, told Eric Holder in a memo that prosecutors were ready to issue indictments in Operation Fast and Furious.
These newly-obtained documents are the tell-tale evidence that Eric Holder knew about Fast and Furious at least NINE MONTHS before he told Congress. There is no question now. Holder knew about guns that were "walking" back across the border!
In a continued effort to stonewall, Department of Justice spokesmen claim the officials in those emails were "talking about a different case started BEFORE Eric Holder became Attorney General."
RIGHT!!
Another Holder "defense" of supposedly not knowing was that DOJ spokesmen have said that the Attorney General receives many updates, memos and briefings daily and "does not always read them all"---even if official records show he was informed of the intimate details of a case.
Let me see if I get this straight: Over 200 murders have been committed with Fast and Furious guns---as well as the murder of 2 ATF Border Patrol Agents---and the Attorney General does not take the time to read about this!
INCOMPETENCE is the word that comes to mind!
But maybe it even goes must deeper than incompetence! Please fax right away!

Is "incompetence" a desperate defense against perjury?
We are talking about human lives being lost; and the Attorney General trying to cover himself. Mr. Holder---there was NO tracking mechanism on these weapons; and the weapons have been used in more than 200 murders.
Fast and Furious "was clearly a flawed enforcement effort," Eric Holder conceded in a DOJ news conference. That is an understatement. And he had to LIE TO CONGRESS to try to save his own job! Such shame!
Eric Holder must resign! Plain and simple. How can we have the nation's top law enforcement person lying to Congress?
He must be held accountable. And I know this special prosecutor will get to the bottom of this! Or will he?
Remember the "chain-of-command." Maybe Eric Holder lied to Congress---not only for himself---but possibly to save his commander-in-chief. How much did President Obama really know? AND WHEN?
Eric Holder must be made to tell the truth of what he knew and when...even if it gets his boss, President Obama, in hot water! Eric Holder must GO!

His continued "stonewalling" to the Congressional investigation (headed by U. S. Rep. Darrell Issa and U. S. Senator Charles Grassley) was our initial "giveaway" that Eric Holder was lying about this botched operation.
