on King World & Fin. Sense webcasts, they talk about $35 as being some kind of threshold that brings in the traders, or momentum traders, whatever they're called.
i remember some of them saying that once it gets over $35 it's a straight shot to $50.
anyway, i'm glad to see Silver starting to tell the truth about the non-value (de-value ? puss-value ?) of the fiat $.
Makes no difference to those of us who dollar cost average
I'm trying to ignore silver's move from $30 to $40, because I have no fiat to spare to buy any.
Whooo hooooo silver up over 30 yee hawww ;) my gosh it has been a dog.
This looks like a major break out and if you listen closely you may hear the dog start to howl.
i wonder if the Cartel is on vacation for a few weeks.
will they come back in time for options expiry next week, to raid from $31 down to $27 ?
my prediction - Blythe & Co. will come back from vacation with sunburn & peeling skin.
the peeling skin will get stuck between the keys on their keyboards.
while they are getting new keyboards, the price will go to $50+.
Silver-holders around the world will live happily every after.
options expiry always wins. then, to $50.

love the sight of these bars, but i'm not sure exactly what they are.
1 kg ?
As long as JPM still has control of the silver market with its paper short positions, then it will stay under $50 in the next few years since the $50 barrier will be well guarded by JPM. Also, if the European crisis (especially Italy) gets worse and/or the U.S. gets in another major recession then that will dampen industrial demand for silver and will bring the spot price down. Honestly speaking, I do not see silver touching AND holding (i.e. closing above) $50 before 2015. Just my gut feeling speaking to me.
