Feminists have started campaigning to prevent the creation and use of "Sex robots".
The group as admitted that rights for robots is not part of their interest, but instead propose that..
"robots are a product of human consciousness and creativity and human power relationships are reflected in the production, design and proposed uses of these robots. As a result, we oppose any efforts to develop robots that will contribute to gender inequalities in society."
tl;dr

I do think we'll see a lot of genetic engineered babies grown in artificial wombs, cutting women out of the picture entirely.
I think this is what a lot of the growing MGTOW class of men will go towards.

Aww shite... so last summer I got that Oculus VR headset above, for use with later model samsung phones. It was interesting for a few weeks, maybe months, and there's always new, free VR "experiences" it auto-downloads. But eventually the novelty wore off, & it got boring enough that the headset went on the shelf.
Got a new phone in Dec; but only just now did I get around to installing the Oculus VR software to see what the latest was. First thing after installing, it's insisting I log into "my facebook", with no option to skip and just start rolling the VR. Last time I used the thing last year, FB was one of the menu options which I could just ignore; but no insistence that I have, much less log into, "my FB" which I've long taken pride in running-not-walking from having. So I searched it up,

^ and the news was devastating. facebook completed a big Oculus acquisition this March, and now, yes, must have an FB acct to operate the Oculus VR.
I've hesitated joining FB for the moment; really resent the coercion... bottom line is, if FB won't let me join with a fake screen name, and a corresponding anon email addy, IE without a real verified identity via credit card, DL, etc... then the oculus headset gets sold 2nd hand. :(
Actually, I'm sure all former, pre-March-2017 Oculus VR users who were FB-less, have since also been forced to join FB.

recoupment for the oculus headset? It was about $100; expensive part of doing the oculus/samsung VR thing is the phone! :rolleyes: I got a "factory unlocked" phone, IE not married to any carrier; can walk into carrier, buy a sim & choose a month to month plan, which I pay cash for monthly in person at their outlet... they don't even have my full real name coz I always pay cash, never "the convenience" of CC/debit.
