we used to use the rabbits we shot as pet food. Skin, gut, quarter then boil with rice and some vegetables. Dogs used to love it.
I've wondered about the wild ones. Not really sure I'd want to eat a wild one from around here. A lot of people eat rabbit although I think it's usually ones raised for human consumption.

With the whole squirrel, or do I cut off the meat, backstap, etc before making the ste've been told all the little bones take away from the enjoyment of the meal, with a stew.
