  1. Re: Janet Yellen suggests 'curtailing' cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin

This actually is terrifying how much damage it could cause to us, and our country. This type of invasion from our own .gov would crash the economy, and create a 3rd world black market society, like...
  2. Re: Celebrating the deep states final week..............

"it ain't over til it's over"

That's Yogi Berrra, baseball player, 1943.

He was also accused of being the ugliest man alive. His response? "You don't bat with your face."

    God bless...
  3. Helicopter Harris? $2000 a month stimulus bill.

Somehow didn't hear about this one...proposed last May. Everyone gets $2000 a month for the duration of the pandemic, and 3 months after. Back paying all the way back to last March.

    If you...

    Re: rainwater catchment idea

What I like about this small pool, is it can be packed away without taking much space. I plan on setting it up before a storm and seeing just how many gallons I can actually catch with it.

    Re: rainwater catchment idea

Thanks Osoab, good idea. I'll look into that, and add screening material. For me I'm using this as an emergency "hope I don't need it, but glad I have it" kit, ready to go.

    Re: Dissenter web browser

I think this is a great idea, Ares. If you do start a group, let us know, as well as how to access it. With the attack on free speech, they may try to take down this site permanently, if it's...

    Dissenter web browser

This new free speech (they claim) web browser is the fastest browser I've ever used. Apparently, it blocks advertisers, trackers, big tech giants, etc. It's associated with gab. It also makes...

Re: 4Chan Anon Warning From October

Well said. Mass shootings again in the near future? We haven't had one in awhile. The next one will obviously be a Trump supporter. Trump's been blamed for 4 years for everything that's...

I wanted to quote this part. Not part of social media makes you a target now, you are a problem. I've always thought being active on social media makes you a target of attention. No social...
  11. Re: Wall Street piling into bitcoin...you had better get in now!

I was thinking about Grayscale because it would get me at least exposed to bitcoin. I like the fact I can buy, and sell it, without any taxes being paid in one of my retirement accounts (roth ira)....
  12. Re: Wall Street piling into bitcoin...you had better get in now!

Shami, what do you think of GBTC? Grayscale bitcoin trust. It's traded on the market and has 6.75 billion market cap. Seems like it's the bitcoin version of gold's GLD.
  13. Re: Wall Street piling into bitcoin...you had better get in now!

While I agree with you the stock market is fake, in a sense, completely over valued, consider retirement accounts. Most folks have work related retirement accounts, myself included, that are very...
  14. Re: Wall Street piling into bitcoin...you had better get in now!

Thanks Shami, hope you make out big doing that.

Quick story, when the markets crashed last march, a couple of coworkers and myself, 3 of us, were talking about making purchases. One guy bought...
  15. Re: Wall Street piling into bitcoin...you had better get in now!

    Shami,

I read an article on yahoo that stated one sell order of 180 coins, dropped the bitcoin price by $1200. Seems to me bitcoin is or can be highly manipulated. If someone owns a lot of...

Re: 00 buck selling for over $4.00 per round

I just checked and I could get on the site. I can't place an order because I live in CA, and they can't ship it to me. Garrett himself called me, I spoke to him on the phone, he apologized. No...

  24. Re: January 6th in DC: "Be there, will be wild!" -- Trump

Right now you can buy Garrett 45-70 $80 for 20, but the price has not changed in years. I have a few of the hammerhead boxes, but they were 540 grain (I call them pirate rounds), for pirates, punch...
  25. Re: January 6th in DC: "Be there, will be wild!" -- Trump

I've got quite a bit of 45-70 stored away, more than I probably need. I'm just surprised there's a shortage of 45-70, didn't think it was that popular of a round to clear off the shelves. Thought...
