Correct, and he had his cup. He wasn't opened mouth under the fountain.
That the manager was even a position to be knocked out when correcting him is another testament to his stupidity along with splitting his administrative hairs over soda or water. No theft here.
The ultimate straw man Hitch. In a way it’s like if you put a bowl of candy in front of a 5 year old, and tell them that they are only allowed to eat three pieces, you wouldn’t start yelling about theft when they take the 4th piece would you?
Anyway I guess the moral of the story is that he wouldn’t be welcome into the restaurant for free drinks in the future, I think, and it is probably not because he “was stealing”.
Cultural Marxism: -The idea that good, hard working, white people should pay for those who are not, and thus in the name of equality create the conditions for their own genetic annihilation
Theft implies intent to take something away from someone else, you are assuming that the punch that leveled the dumb manager was to defend this intent.
At no point in our story (as told to us here) do you have any evidence that intent initially existed.
In fact it is more so disproved by the accused's actions of requesting a cup and it summarily being offered to him by the dumb unconcious hairsplitting manager.
Instant Justice Deserts were then served and our consciouness morality merrily streamwards
